Rate reflects a GS discount. Park is on the main highway and quite noisy most of the time. Quiets down a little from about 9PM until about 4AM. Sites are close together. Electric works well and is steady. Water pressure good, we used regulator. Water connection is awkward, low to the ground, suggest cleaning before use. No leash rule enforced here, many dogs running loose. A lot of long timers and workers, numerous derelict units around. Park does fill up nearly every night. Wifi is free, but is absolutely minimal, can only check headlines and maybe if you're lucky, email. Didn't work most of the time. We stayed here several days while touring the area but we would probably look for an alternative. It would work for a night. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Ride the Ghost Train, visit the Ward Charcoal Ovens, Cave Lake State Park, drive the Summit Loop, 65 miles to Great Basin National Park and Lehman caves, great day trip. Visit the local White Pine Historical Museum....very interesting. All Aboard Cafe and Inn is a good place to eat, very nice salad bar.

Some full timers kinda raggedy in their sites but front with overnighters is good enough. Good stop for overnight. Golf across the street. Out of town a bit, so might want to get groceries ahead of time. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Motorhome.

We used a pull through site to utilize our satellite roof mount dish. The sites are close together but acceptable for overnight or short stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would come here again for overnight. It is next to the highway but as others have noted it did not bother us. We were here in a motor home. It also is a mobile home park in the rear area. Not much pride in their space. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy access from Route 93, easy check-in, very friendly staff. Owner is an Air Force veteran. We were given our pick of drive-thru or back-in sites. We chose drive-thru. Site access was easy had to adjust our location to avoid an overhanging tree branch when we opened one slide, no problem. The site had plenty of space between neighboring sites. Utilities were easy reach. CTV hook-up was cold and I didn't try for OTA. Our stay was weather shortened but the staff was helpful, friendly and willingly gave us a refund on the night we didn't use. About the best park in Ely, and close to town. Although we were next to 93 we didn't experience any loss of sleep because of noise. We would chose this park if through the area in the future. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is a mix of long term and short term. It is a good overnight stop. The sites are both pull through and back in's. The roads are very wide and easy to use a back in site for any size rig. the office staff is very helpful and friendly. The sites are gravel and some are close others are wider. We have camped here before and will continue when in the area. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Cannot give 5 stars as there was really no "view" - this is a quaint adequate well staffed easy access decent priced Rv park. l stayed overnight as traveling thru, but as their rates are so reasonable l will be back to unhook and explore some of Ely's truly awesome views. Not the best WiFi but adequate for my time there. Close to the highway, so expect some road noise in their pull-thru sites, yet it does not have trucks turning or slowing down traffic - so still allowed for a decent sleep. l prefer this Rv park over the hi priced KOA that l use to stay at. Also avoid the Loves for fuel - does Not take Canadian cards at pumps, and access in and out is a messy mixed up maze. No savings for the aggravation. More interesting store too at the Chevron Ely a little further down the road...and much cheaper fuel. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This park was delightful. We knew we were only stopping for one night and the office staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. We camped in our travel trailer and our site was more than adequate for the trailer and our pick up truck. That was a nice grassy area with picnic table between our site and the one next to us and that was nice tree coverage. Though this is Valley view RV park from the area we were in we did not specifically have her view because of the trees. But that was not an inconvenience to us. The park is kept very clean the shower and bathrooms or individual indoors and kept immaculate. The Wi-Fi was little slow but did work. There were over air television channels but many duplicate channels. We chose not to watch. The laundry has two washers and two dryers very reasonably priced, and again the laundry room was very clean and comfortable to use. There are full timers here but they seem to be in a totally other area of the transient RV years. Though we are right on route 93 we did not feel that there was noise through the night. We had full connectivity and even in the cold we were quite comfortable. We stayed hooked up and did not go into town or to any of the stores but did notice that there was a small grocery store not far from the park. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed in Space 59 for two weeks and it was OK--lots of folks in and out but mostly quiet despite being right off Hwy 93 about a mile north of Ely. One problem was that the lawn sprinkler system remained broken and made a muddy mess around our door despite the fact that they had folks doing a good job of mowing and weed eating. The office is seldom open but that was OK with us as lots of services are available back in town. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Motorhome.

We just needed a place for the night and felt fortunate to find this park since others in the area were full. There were a few empty sites when we arrived, but by dark, they were full. It is an older park for full-timers and a few spots for overnighters. The sites are small and tight. Some sites are difficult to pull into because of trees. It was dusty, but served the purpose for the night. The young lady in the office was very pleasant. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Motorhome.

No internet, unless you're right by the office. No cable TV, company went out off business, but still listed on site. Pull thru sites are close together and trees make it hard to park. The day we arrived they had watered and the road into site was nothing but mud, our trucks rear end slid making 5er slide into a low broken branch. Damaged about 4 foot of our roof! Our next door neighbors slide kept us from putting out our awning and impossible to sit outside. Had to pull way forward so slide would clear tree, so truck was partially in neighbors site, but they were nice and said it was ok, no other place to park. Sites not level, everyone on blocks. Watched a man yesterday try for 30 minutes to get into a back in site and get level, they finally gave up and left. Needless to say go somewhere else! We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We chose to back in because those spots are a bit more away from the road. Noise from road did not bother us. Back in gave us a little mountain view and there was a large green area behind us.

Good Sam discount, lower marks due to high cost for this part of NV. Overall a very nice stopping point. We had a nice long and level 50 amp full hookup with cable & Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi was mostly very good during our two day stay. Interesting cable lineup, I found network stations out of Vegas, Reno and Salt Lake City. So no matter which way your headed you can see what's going on. Very friendly check-in. The laundry was small, 2 of each, $1.50 for washing and $1.00 to dry. The dryers looked new and all machines worked great. The only negative was when they just shut the power off to our row to fix a problem at a site. It was during the dinner hour, fortunately we had just finished ours. No warning at all, there were only 3 or 4 sites occupied and it would have taken less than 5 minutes to notify us. Instead, we are checking for tripped breakers and looking for a problem that was not there. A complete lack of common courtesy by the maintenance staff. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Motorhome.
