This is a neat, clean and well managed park. The driveways are wide smooth gravel. The sites have concrete pads, picnic tables and the tree will eventually provide shade. The utilities work well however the sewer connection is at the back so you may need a long hose. The WiFi is okay for email but not streaming. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Motorhome.

This campground is what all campgrounds should be. The spaces are adequate, the campground is beautifully landscaped, and the whole place shows a lot of love and attention. It was quiet, with just a few permanent residents, but they kept their spaces very orderly. They are dog friendly but, like most campgrounds, dogs must constantly be on leash. Having said that there is a huge field next door where we allowed our dog to run free with supervision. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Motorhome.

What can you say that hasn't been said. For the price it's a great overnight stop. Concrete pads with gravel sites. For this price, it's less expensive overall than spending a night dry camping at the casino. Large area to walk your dogs if you have any. Over the air TV is also possible. The location is excellent with easy on off of US 95. Can accomdiate a big rig. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Easy access from US 95. It is located at the north end of Hawthorne. The signage is very good. Access and parameter roads are hard packed gravel and very big rig friendly. Check in was quick and informative. There is a small store on site. All sites are concrete pull thorough with washed pea gravel in between. Services were to the left rear and worked very well. Every site has a tree that in time will provide nice shade. Right now they are a little on the small side. Landscaping is nice but, like the trees, a little immature. Cable TV "without the box" worked well. There was a good assortment of channels. Included Wifi was strong until someone decided to stream some video. We did not notice any road noise. We were very impressed with Whiskey Flats. They delivered everything that was promised and did it well. There are no restaurants within walking distance but Safeway is an easy walk. We paid $28.71 inc tax per night and feel we received good value for our dollar. We will return. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park is set far enough from Hwy-95 to be quiet at night. We had a pull-thru, a level concrete pad, with picnic table. Cable TV with lots of channels, Wi-Fi worked great. Showers and bathrooms were clean and in good condition. Easy check-in, staff was friendly. Office closes at 6pm. Some grocery and RV items in Office, or a Safeway store is nearby. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

They have 60 sites, all gravel pull-thrus. It is easy access from the road and easy to navigate in the park. Check in was fast and friendly. They have some basic items along with crafts in their store. The park is very well maintained and the laundry and bathrooms are very clean. There is a little road noise but not too bad. We were in Site 54 with full hook-ups. No issues with the hook ups. Our site was next to the picnic area so we had a bit more room than the other sites. WiFi was spotty and our Verizon signal was just okay. Lots of open space to walk the dog. Safeway grocery store and Dollar General next door. We stayed October 12-14, 2017 and paid $28.71 with our Good Sam Discount. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a well maintained campground with friendly staff at check in. Interior roads are gravel and big rig access is good. Our site was an average size with space to park our towed, there was minimal privacy between sites, we did have a small shade tree and a picnic table. Our pad was a gravel pull through which required some leveling, it was quiet with little road noise. As is so often the case, sites are configured for towables but not motor homes, thus eliminating views of the surrounding mountains from within the RV. We did not use the bathrooms or laundry. Pet friendly with the usual list of rules. Wifi and AT&T were good. Safeway is only five minutes from the campground. We would stay here again it's perfect for an overnight stop. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were assigned a sand site. Most of the sites are concrete pads. The roads are wide and asphalt. We had no problem getting into and out of site. Everything was well kept. We would stay here again. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Good overnight spot. Site was gravel and level with a picnic table but narrow and tight. You're in the desert so expect some wind and sun. Close to grocery shopping, gas & restaurants. Would stay again. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a good overnight stop on 95. Like has been mentioned, the roads are gravel. But the interior roads are wide and easy to maneuver. The concrete pads are long enough. They are just very tight. The dirt area is not a dog walk. Plant a little grass for the dogs. The wifi was acceptable for a park. Digital cable tv available. Will stay here again. Overall Rating:

We always stay here for one night going north or south on the 95. Yes, as the previous reviewer stated there is a lot of gravel. We would rate this park a 10 if only they were more accommodating for our dogs. It seems that most everyone has a least one and at this park you cannot walk them on the grass which they would love (we get it). There is a dirt lot for dogs as you drive in, it would be so nice if this was partially fenced with a bit of grass :). It can be a long walk in the heat for the dogs on the gravel. I know we would be willing to pay more if they put up some fencing. Other than the dog situation we can find no fault with this park. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Motorhome.
