This is not a bad campground for an overnight stay. You have a choice of dry camping or FHU. Dry camping is free but this is also a trucker's parking lot as well. There is an upper campground (closest to the road) cost $22 and the lower campground cost $24. Both campgrounds have FHU.

All of the utilities worked well in the upper campground. The voltage was OK - maybe a bit low if everyone was using their air conditioners. There was a mixture of back-in and pull-thrus. The pull-thru sites were long enough to accommodate a class A with a tow. The interior roads and sites were on asphalt. The roads were in need of repair. Most of the sites were fairly level.

You are allowed to use the hotel's pool and spa. The bathroom contained (3) showers and were clean and usable. There was (2) washers @ $1.50 and (2) dryers @ $1.50. We can't comment on them since we did not use them. The bathrooms and check in was located in the lower campground. WiFi was available but not usable.

Overall it was a good experience. We would return to this campground when we are in the area. We have a 32 foot 5th wheel. We camped at Saguaro RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Behind Cactus Pete's casino. Last casino before Idaho on route 93. Quiet. Spacious. Great for a night stopover. Not much else around, except one golf course and a couple other casinos. Nice setting. Great, reasonably priced buffet at casino. Walkable to casino. We camped at Saguaro RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed at the upper campground great for a one night stay, they are in
need of doing a little TLC not very much has been done over last 5 years, had a problem with the plug staying in electrical socket, worn out. Will stay again nice place to stop coming and going. We camped at Saguaro RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were in the lower part of the RV park (I can't comment on the upper loop next to the highway), site 8, east of Cactus Pete's Casino. They doubled up on each site, 2 campers, front to back and side to side. Very crowded. No table, no grill or fire pit. The water was turned off even though each site used a hydrant which is designed for winter use. Cable TV service was terrible, I think there was a short in the system somewhere. They advertised Internet access but it was non existent, very weak signal even though we were next to the park office, could not get a connection. Park is next to the airport, a lot of noise. Okay for an overnight stop, but not recommended for a stay of more than a couple of nights. Very disappointed... PS; a pet friendly RV Park! We used the 30amp electrical service which provided us with adequate, consistent, uninterrupted power - very good. We camped at Saguaro RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Jack Pot, Nevada is a gambling town locate on the Nevada/Idaho boarder. They have the typical attractions of similar cities in Nevada; Gambling, Stage shows, Food, and Inexpensive liquor. There is a nice golf course, a lake (across the Idaho boarder) for boating and fishing, and several historic areas close to the city. Cactus Pete's is the main casino with all of the attractions of similar casinos in Las Vegas. A nice place to visit for a few nights of entertainment!

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We normally stay here in the lower RV Park on our way North or South on Hwy 93. My complaints with this park lie mostly with their ongoing maintenance, or the lack of it.

The perimeter road you must take to the North side of the park, has some very large potholes that are nearly impossible to avoid. (These have been here for as long as I can remember.) Tree limbs extend outward to where they interfere with operation of the slides in some sites. Electrical connection boxes almost worn out (30 amp plugs very loose). Free WIFI was "iffy", and we were located 30 feet from the router in the office.

On the plus side; the park is close to the casino and its facilities. Office personnel were friendly and helpful, and the sites were asphalt and level. Bathroom facilities and showers were clean and warm. Next to the sites there are ample grassy areas. We'll stay here again. We camped at Saguaro RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I like this part and I think the value is excellent, but I can't believe they only have two washers and two dryers come on Really, and one of the washers didn't work so they only really have one. I think next time I'm through here I'm going to try the Spanish Gardens it's cheaper and the reviews are even better than this park. I love the long pull thrus, I like the grass I even like the shade the food is not bad at the casino so we shall see this is a nice park it just needs a little more accommodations for the RV people (laundry in particular) you do have access to all the casino facilities, it is a great place to layover in the summertime it's cool and you need that before you hit the hot desert. We camped at Saguaro RV Park in a Motorhome.

Have stayed here several times in the first come, first serve area. Sites are long enough for any big rig and relatively level. There is a self-serve registration or you can go to the campground office. Sites are somewhat close but there is plenty of room for slide outs and awnings. There is a grocery store across the street that has surprisingly good prices considering the remoteness. Pool area in conjunction with hotel is now offering outdoor gambling and limited fast food. Towels are provided for you. Whole area is well maintained and has a city park air about it. Would be a good stop for those with children. We camped at Saguaro RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a good place for an overnight stay. The sites are pull-through and quite long. The check-in process is confusing. There are two sections to the park, one is near the highway, and one is behind the casino. The office is in the rear sections. We parked in the front section (spaces are not assigned) and called the phone number to find out how to check in. Found someone in a golf cart and gave him the information. We would stay again. We camped at Saguaro RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here twice and will return if we are in the area. We enjoy the green grass and trees, as well as the pool, hottub and casino. We wish the laundry area included more washers and dryers, because they only have 2 washers and 2 dryers with no area to fold clothes. There is a nice park with trees and picnic tables where we have enjoyed walking our dogs. Jackpot is a tiny town! We camped at Saguaro RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Jackpot is a small town, but Cactus Pete's is a wonderful hotel, resort and RV Park. There is a small grocery store across the street, and there are several other small casinos in town. We enjoy the pool and hottub and have found the hotel buffet to be quite good as well.

Stayed two nights in upper full service park. Office does not open til noon so find an empty site and park there until office opens. Far enough from highway so no vehicle noise but adjacent to airport so plane noise occurs. Wifi extremely spotty--had to go to office to get access as wifi did not reach our site. It must happen a lot because office has a table and bench to accommodate wifi users. Bathrooms and showers were extremely clean with lots of hot water--no quarters required. You will have to walk approximately 500' to the casino and it can get extremely cold and windy. We would stay again because of the clean bathrooms (which is the most important criteria for my wife). It has been 4 years since our last stay here. We stayed in the full hookup section (there are 2 separate section of this park) of the park and had a nice pull-through site not far from the office. We were here on a weekend and, because there were no special events going on, there were only about a dozen other RVs in the park. As others have mentioned, you cannot dump your black water at the sites. Evidently, they have had too many instances where customers have clogged their system and they have had to dig up the pipes too many times. The site sewers now have nets in them to prevent this. So, you have to dump your black water at the dump station at the rear of the park near the air strip fence. For me, the main draw for this park is the beautiful pool area at the casino hotel. Unfortunately, the Saturday crown included a bunch (maybe 30 adults ranging from 20 to 60 years of age) who were nothing but loud drunks. We camped at Saguaro RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were at the end of a long day, headed for Twin Falls, when we passed Cactus Petes - it looked inviting so we pulled in. Sure glad we did! All sites have grass, electricity, and water, plus some have sewer dumps. Very inexpensive. The casino has good restaurants, plus there's a "general store" right across the highway. We will make this a definite stop on our journeys through the area. We camped at Saguaro RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park, green grass, but extra hard water when the sprinklers come on which in return puts white spots on the side of your motorhome. Wish they could be controlled a little better but this park is a oasis in the desert. Nice golf course adjoins the casino/park. We will stay here again We camped at Saguaro RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here one night midweek when less than 1/3 spaces were occupied. Ample number of super long pull throughs, along with other pull throughs. Level sites, neat, clean, green grass, utilities well located and worked fine. Water, Gray-water hookups and electric only--no sewer, but there is a dump station on site. Park is easy to find and access from US 93, on the South side of Cactus Pete's. Decent restaurants in the casinos to walk to. Had good luck at Cactus Pete's casino, too, making it a very enjoyable stop. Would rate a 10 if it had sewer hookups and cable. We camped at Saguaro RV Park in a Motorhome.
