This is the most convenient RV park for the Strip - it's walking distance. It's essentially a big asphalt parking lot with RV pedestals but they have added some ambiance with a few decorative planters between some spaces. There are few trees and most spaces are just 40' ... you have to call and request anything longer but they do have up to 80' spaces, and a couple in the shade. There is a nice little store and a pool, which we did not use. We phoned well in advance and got Space 52, the longest space and in the shade. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

What once was run by KOA is now 1/3 the size it once was and run by the hotel. Check in at the park is very slow as there is only one person on duty for the camp store and check in duties. Even with a reservation the person at the desk has to call the hotel number and ask for the check in desk before they can issue you a spot. The person at the desk has no RV experience and has no clue as to how long their spots are. After a very long time I drove to my spot only to find a detached cargo trailer parked there. I took the spot next to it and walked back to check in again. Most of the hookups are newly replaced with the exception of back in spots along the outside. I forgot how noisy this location is with the train tracks near, too many emergency sirens to count at all hours, the sightseeing helicopters lined up nose to tail doing circuits of the Strip and the use of unused sites in the park for the overflow parking of tour buses and shuttle buses servicing people at the hotel. The buses come in late, leave early and idle their engines for long periods of time. MGM Resorts, the corporate parent of Circus Circus treats the RV park as an underused asset which they would rather not run but doesn't have the resources to build another tower. Sad, but it is the only place to park the RV within walking distance of a dozen major casino properties. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

This is basically a parking lot. It's also quite a ways from the main part of the strip. At check-in we were advised the bus as the best way to get up the strip. That was at least an hour ride. It would be Easier to stay in a nicer park and take their shuttle in. The shuttles do not take the strip and can get around a lot quicker. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

Only RV park within easy walking distance of the Strip. Staff was very nice as we arrived one day early, and she did not hesitate to get us a spot. This is just a parking lot but good 30 amp/water/sewer hookups. WiFi was very slow. Dog park was nice, would stay here again. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This was our second trip to Vegas and will always stay at this Circus Circus RV park in the future (Full disclosure: In an effort to compare "apples to apples" I will rate this park in comparison to our previous visit where we stayed at another casino for $18/night)

We extended our visit by a day because of the location, amenities and convenience) the $32 daily rate increases to about $40 from Fri-Sun.

This RV park is on site at the Circus Circus Hotel (highly recommended if you have children traveling with you as they have a huge indoor circus carnival area with pay to rides).

PERKS: Location: you are on the strip and walking distance to all the other large hotels, casinos and eateries. The park has a convenience store, well furnished large TV/reading room, game room with air hockey etc, dog park, free dog wash, WiFi, 24 hour roving bike security.

DRAWBACKS: The management informed that the laundry room will be upgraded soon. Currently there were approx 10 washers and only 3 worked. $2 per wash, and of the 12 dryers only 3 worked, $1.75 a load. The hotel does not have a alternate wash facility available so be prepared to plan your laundry trip during their open hours between 10:30 and 5pm.

Shower faucets need improvement, they are the older pull out then turn type but found myself spinning the wobbly knob endlessly before I switched shower stalls and figured it out.

Overall I highly recommend this park for anyone that is looking to enjoy their trip to Vegas. If you simply want somewhere to park your rig, then go ahead and try one of those $18 night places at your own risk. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Tip when making reservation: Reservations can be made online but recommended making by phone which takes 15-20 minutes but then you can request a space as desired for no extra charge! For example near a grassy space with picnic table, near the bathrooms, laundry, main office, pool, dog park, or far from everyone on the back far outskirts.

Yes, this is a large parking lot. But you are on the strip with full hookups. The RV park office is only open 10:30am - 7:30pm. Checking in outside of those times needs to be cleaned up. After 7:30 they expect you to park your rig, go to the hotel front desk, pay & then they will tell you your site number. This is a lengthy process given the walking distance from the RV park in the rear of the property to the hotel front desk. The front desk associate who helped us was obviously not trained on the RV park. No map, no wi-fi or restroom code was given. My husband used the showers & said they were reasonably clean but he had to search for one that worked. If we are going through Las Vegas again with our rig, we would stay here for the Strip access but would arrive before 7:30! Also, the best entrance is from the back of the property, not the Strip entrance. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

This is the closest RV Park to the strip and yes it is a parking lot, although many of the sites have small rock dividers and we even had a tree. My major issue, however, was the lack of security. There are no gates and we rarely saw security at night, but we did see lots of pedestrian traffic that looked suspicious. I kept our doors locked every night and we made sure nothing of value was left outside. We spent 9 days here which cost $494 and although I think it is fine for a couple day stay (especially during the week) I wouldn't recommend staying here for a longer period of time. Best location in Vegas. Sadly no more than parking lot.

The power is good here, easy in / easy out being close to the Interstate is a plus (no noise)

The Casino sadly is getting a little long in the tooth. The park; however is kept clean and tidy and you see an occasional security patrol. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

We stayed for one overnighter. It is essentially a parking lot for RVs. It is all asphalt with very little landscaping or shade. It was fine for what it was and suited our purposes. The men's shower needs updating, as the faucet handles were very difficult to use and I had to switch shower stalls. We got there at 11:00 p.m. and had to register inside the hotel, which is inconvenient and we had to wait in a long line. I would stay there again if we find ourselves in Las Vegas again. Several times in recent weeks I tried to check the site availability on this KOA's website. Each time I entered October arrival and departure dates, a note popped up say that the park would be closed from 10/1/14 to next March or April. I finally called the park and was told that they are closing permanently as of 10/1/14. I did not ask why it was closing. I've been here before it was a KOA and enjoyed it. I am sorry to see the only RV park on the strip disappear. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

Stayed here 10 years ago and remembered is as being bad but close to downtown. It is now much worse. I doubt that they have spent a dime on maintenance let alone improvements in ten years. Dirty, unkempt, and gross. Internet worthless. Stay at one of the local casinos and take a cab. It will be cheaper and much nicer. As other posters have stated essentially a very large parking lot with hookups. Save your money on the premium sites. Seriously not worth the extra money but I was too lazy to move. Staff is friendly and knowledgable. Internet was slow and intermittent even with a booster. Couldn't log in at all on the first day due to issues at Tengo. Best part of this is the convenience. I was at the NAB trade show. Quick drive and I was at the show. Much longer commute from other spots. Same if you want to hangout on the strip. We spent one night here to see a few sites and then moved on. Nice staff. They put is in the back row where it was pretty quiet. Large pull-through site with good utilities. Gravel dog run was pretty large. Good location and well-kept, but that's about it. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Travel Trailer.
