Amazing! Totally love the Complex and RV Park. Super spacious, convenient to restaurants but away from the craziness of Vegas, loved the shooting complex and ability to try out different sports, people were super friendly, we had so much fun! Was concerned that our cat might be scared off from the shooting noises, but it was really minimal and didn't bother us at all. RV Park users should be clients of the shooting complex though, don't just take up a spot so shooters can't stay please. Very very nice people and setup but not a regular park since there's no showers etc. phenomenal view of the mountains, valley and Vegas strip. We camped at Clark County Shooting Complex in a Travel Trailer.

Great view of Las Vegas and the valley. We pulled in backwards compared to most of the other rigs up there to have the million dollar view rather than just the beautiful mountain view. We camped at Clark County Shooting Complex in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Our motorcycle ride to Red Rock Canyon and Bonnie Springs ranch were great as the scenery and visitor activities we some of the best we have enjoyed on this trip so far. The restaurant Bonnie Springs ranch was great and about right on price for what it is. Will go back again if in the area.

Easy to get to even if it is a little off the beaten path and close to shopping and supplies. Because it is off the beaten path it is very quiet at night. If you like to shoot then this is the place for you, if not then go somewhere else. Staff was very nice and helpful. Utilities were very good and great Verizon coverage. Lots were gravel and level. We camped at Clark County Shooting Complex in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a "bare bones" RV park--- as stated in their brochure. Self contained units only. All sites are long pull-thru. However, It is very nice. It is a park that was built to accomodate Skeet Shooting tournaments. All sites face the skeet shooting area. Shooting is open Wednesday thru Sunday.... and there is noise from the shooters but it's not horrendous . If this bothers you--- suggest you not stay here. Sites are WIDE SPACED, level gravel. Hook ups are good and concreted area around all hook-ups and light area. TV service is good as is cell service (Sprint) There is no cable. No Shade Trees BE AWARE: There are NO Showers, Restrooms, Laundry. Just straight up "self contained" camping area. We did notice some "porta-potty's for Skeet shooters If you have sufficient electric cord & Hose equipment you can opt to park reversed--- thereby getting a great view of the whole Las Vegas Area. We camped at Clark County Shooting Complex in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a restaurant on the site that is open Wednesday- Sunday. "Road Kill Café #2" It was pretty good.... it is a local BBQ place. and a very good value. They serve breakfast, lunch & early dinner--- closing at 5pm.

At first blush, you wouldn't think this was an RV park, and I guess it really isn't. BUT...they do have 80 very nice, pull through spots for RV's with full hookups. If you want amenities like golf, swimming pool, close to gambling this isn't for you. But if you're looking for a great, reasonable parking place give this some consideration. There are 80 sites along the Shotgun shooting range. They are here for tournament shooters, but when no tournament is going on they are available to rent. 20.00 flat regardless of rig size. The Clark County Shooting Complex is the largest of it's kind in the world, a true 5-star shooting range. With accommodations for pistol, rifle, shotgun, and archery. If you are a shooter, you will think you have died and gone to heaven. If you're not a shooter, the range is closed on Monday and Tuesday, which would be an ideal time for a brief stay. They are extremely safety conscious and the entire complex is clean, safe and very well maintained. You're about 30 to 45 minutes away from the downtown Las Vegas Strip, so allow plenty of time for traffic and travel. Shopping, groceries, fuel, supplies and ammo are all available very close. You're away from the population center, but you're not out in the boonies.

The ground slopes slightly to the West. The lower number sites are slightly more level than the higher number sites. However, the lower number sites are closer to the more frequently used shotgun range. You will sacrifice level for quiet. Don't stress over it, the shooting isn't that noisy and the high number sites aren't that un-level. We camped at Clark County Shooting Complex in a Motorhome.

Pop, pop, pop. If you can handle the noise from guns going off, you'll love this place. The noise didn't bother us at all. Full hookups, level site, reasonable rate. 30-40 minutes from the activities of Las Vegas. At nite, the whole city skyline lites up from the back site of your trailer. Partner loved the archery range. Good Verizon 3G service. Would definitely return. We camped at Clark County Shooting Complex in a Travel Trailer.

RV spots were level with full hook ups. Well maintained, all sites are pull through on gravel with good spacing. Staff is very helpful. Shooting did not bother us. Other RVers were respectful and quiet and picked up after their dogs. We accidentally left our surge protector behind. An honest person turned it in and the staff really helped us in getting it back on our return trip several days later (despite being closed that day). We camped at Clark County Shooting Complex in a Motorhome.

Hidden gem of an rv park with a great view of the Las Vegas area, cannot beat the price! It's in North Las Vegas off the 215 up on a hill at the shooting range, about a 1/2 hour from the gambling areas. Most shooting is done in the daylight so the nights are calm and enjoyable, can't beat the view. Level and extra large gravel sites. Restaurant, gift shop and if you want to learn to shoot, this is the place. Employees in the front office, the restaurant & the shooting facility were fabulous. Only place for us to stay in Vegas. We camped at Clark County Shooting Complex in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

All shopping needs (Costco, Walmart, Winco, etc) and gas/diesel about 4 miles down the hill at the exit off the freeway. Suggest checking availability as it is a shooting range and there are big shoots held there.

Great place to stay if you want to be out of the Vegas congestion but still close enough to visit daily. No frills, but a clean, well run park. It is mainly a gravel strip with full hookups. No fire ring or picnic table, but that's not why we came. If there were a few trees for shade this would be a 10!! There is shooting, it is a range after all. But we didn't find it bothersome. I've been more aggravated with boom boxes till all hours at other parks. They shut it down at 10, so not bad at all. We will stay here anytime we're in the area. RV sites all pull-thru and all gravel, but have full hookups. Great place to stay whether there for shooting sports or just staying in Las Vegas for a while. Can't beat the price. The view of Las Vegas at night was excellent, as you are parked up on a bluff. No cable, but TV reception was great (many channels) and cell reception (AT&T) was 3 bars. Note that although no restrooms, there is one at the grill/shooting club house and there are stand-alone toilets everywhere and the cleanest ones ever. We camped at Clark County Shooting Complex in a Fifth Wheel.

Best kept secret in the LV area. Away from the hustle bustle of the strip, quiet after the ranges close, otherwise you may hear shotguns as the campground is located at the shotgun range. Fun shooting skeet, trap, rifle and pistol ranges. Sporting clays range up and running, as well as archery range. W/E/S for each site, no amenities, that you pay for but may not use, just long level sites with great views. Buildings at the shotgun and rifle/pistol range have clean restrooms and are open Wednesday - Sunday.

Great views of the city, when the sun goes down! My favorite time while at the park. We camped at Clark County Shooting Complex in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots of things to do in the area, including the strip and Freemont street, if that's your thing.

Be careful of the LV drivers! They are crazy fast, 80-90 MPH even on the side streets. Not a day went by that we didn't about numerous wrecks and deaths on the roads due to speed.
