Park is virtually just a parking lot with hook ups. The two best spots are 10 and 52 as they have the only grass. Hook ups worked fine. On a positive note, there is a pool exclusively for park goers so it was clean and not crowded like every other Las Vegas pool around. One complaint would be the layout of the spaces. RV's park alternating so the hook up area is utilized by two campers and therefor you share your awning area with the adjoining camper. Overall I think if we can find a hotel that accepts pets and can find a place to park the trailer we would get a hotel next time. We negotiated a 41' fifth wheel through Vegas traffic! Be sure and come in on Sammy Davis JR and be aware you can only enter from Sahara west and cannot cross the median. Laundry was out of service but helpful staff sent us to a local laundromat. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

This is not the type of park you would stay in for fun in the park. It is a good place to stay for the location. We were in Las Vegas for an event at the Convention Center and the Circus Circus park was a great location for us. We also enjoyed catching the bus in front of the hotel to visit the Strip and Fremont Street. The best thing about the park was the pool. It was very hot and we floated away a couple of afternoons in the pool. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Buy the three day bus pass and just catch the bus to visit the Strip and Fremont Street. Very convenient and no need to find and pay for parking. Visit the Mob Musuem in downtown Vegas. Very nicely down and well worth the admission. Go see the Bronx Wanders show. It was very entertaining and high energy. Buy your show tickets at the Tickets Tonight booth for a big discount. There is a booth located in the Circus Circus hotel.

I gave this 8 stars because of the location. If you want to spend a lot of time on the strip this place is great as it's on the North end of the strip. We stayed 2 days while enjoying the strip then moved on. The park is just a big asphalt parking lot but it's FHU and a good price considering the other RV parks in the area. If you don't care to see the strip then your better off staying somewhere nicer. We took the bus down to Fremont street and various places on the strip, easy to do. We were staying out at Lake Mead and drove the truck in to check it out before our stay. The price varies depending the size of the space. We fit our 40' fifth wheel in a 40' space that was wide enough to park the truck next to it, toward the back of the lot. The front near the office can be a bit tight if there are a lot of RV's moving around there. We pulled in the back entrance and parked in a spot so we didn't have to deal with the area by the office. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

This is just as you would expect in downtown Las Vegas. A concrete jungle with hookups. It wasn't very busy when we were there but I would expect it would be a real zoo if full. However, if you want to be near casinos, this is the place for you. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Travel Trailer.

This RV campsite is a parking lot with RV hookups. The hotel area is under construction and it's a unwelcoming entrance with one RV park sign and orange barriers. The sites are numbered in an odd fashion, making it difficult to find our spot. Not well lit and no security presence. With that said, it's on the strip and gets the job done. It can be a little tricky to get Uber to the correct pick up point if they are not familiar with the rv park entrance. Staff was not very helpful , we never even completed registration because I do not know where they are located, it's not within the park. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

First spot they gave us was on the back fence. The sewer hook up was unusable so we complained and they were good about it and moved us to a much nicer spot near the front. Hookups look like they have been upgraded in most of the park. The SEMA show was in town so the rates were jacked up, park is a convenient place to stay but you don't get much for $70. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

The front desk staff was not very organized or knowledgeable. 3/6 washing machines were out of order for the entire month we stayed. Many of the dryers did not work well or at all. The park is a parking lot (literally), with full hook ups. It is on the strip across the street from the Circus Circus Casino, and very close to the bus stop. We read reviews of people getting their bikes stolen. Our bikes were fine, but the RV'ers across from us did get their very expensive bikes stolen between 8-10am (yes in broad daylight). After that, the security guard on a bike did made several trips thru the park. I would stay here again, but would not plan to use restrooms or laundry facilities. I would get reservations confirmed in writing. If this was a "regular" RV park I would give it a "3", but since it is the only RV park on the strip, and close to things we wanted to do, I'd say it was OK We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Get a city bus pass, driving on the strip is a nightmare. 3 day passes were only $24 and take you on the strip, to Freemont Street, and can transfer to the airport or other routes.

For proximity to Las Vegas strip, this campground should rate a 10. However, this park lacks care and maintenance. For example, while staying here over a week, I witnessed many arriving guests completely lost and wondering where to go and ending up back on the road or aiming at a parking garage. This could be remedied by the simple placement of a few cheap signs.

Second, having mail to be forwarded to you here is asking for trouble. The Las Vegas Post Office delivers mail here at about 9:00 but the office does not open until 10:30. Therefore, your mail will go into an endless holding pattern which cannot be intercepted. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

It is a long walk to the main casinos, but at least it is do-able if you do not have a car. Circus, Circus itself and the campground restrooms show their age. I would not use the restrooms but my husband did.

Check-in was no problem at the little store at the entrance to the campground. Be aware that a $12 tax is added to each night's stay.

The campground was not full and we saw none of the buses that another reviewer mentioned.

It was pretty quiet at night, but the planes overhead started at 6:15 am. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

Very well located RV park in the middle of Las Vegas! The park can't be compared to any other typical RV park in the countryside: Asphalt and noise 24/7. We were surprised how comfy the stay was. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the walking distance to the heart of the crazy town. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

This is the most convenient RV park for the Strip - it's walking distance. It's essentially a big asphalt parking lot with RV pedestals but they have added some ambiance with a few decorative planters between some spaces. There are few trees and most spaces are just 40' ... you have to call and request anything longer but they do have up to 80' spaces, and a couple in the shade. There is a nice little store and a pool, which we did not use. We phoned well in advance and got Space 52, the longest space and in the shade. What once was run by KOA is now 1/3 the size it once was and run by the hotel. Check in at the park is very slow as there is only one person on duty for the camp store and check in duties. Even with a reservation the person at the desk has to call the hotel number and ask for the check in desk before they can issue you a spot. The person at the desk has no RV experience and has no clue as to how long their spots are. After a very long time I drove to my spot only to find a detached cargo trailer parked there. I took the spot next to it and walked back to check in again. Most of the hookups are newly replaced with the exception of back in spots along the outside. I forgot how noisy this location is with the train tracks near, too many emergency sirens to count at all hours, the sightseeing helicopters lined up nose to tail doing circuits of the Strip and the use of unused sites in the park for the overflow parking of tour buses and shuttle buses servicing people at the hotel. The buses come in late, leave early and idle their engines for long periods of time. MGM Resorts, the corporate parent of Circus Circus treats the RV park as an underused asset which they would rather not run but doesn't have the resources to build another tower. Sad, but it is the only place to park the RV within walking distance of a dozen major casino properties. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

This is basically a parking lot. It's also quite a ways from the main part of the strip. At check-in we were advised the bus as the best way to get up the strip. That was at least an hour ride. It would be Easier to stay in a nicer park and take their shuttle in. The shuttles do not take the strip and can get around a lot quicker. Only RV park within easy walking distance of the Strip. Staff was very nice as we arrived one day early, and she did not hesitate to get us a spot. This is just a parking lot but good 30 amp/water/sewer hookups. WiFi was very slow. Dog park was nice, would stay here again. This was our second trip to Vegas and will always stay at this Circus Circus RV park in the future (Full disclosure: In an effort to compare "apples to apples" I will rate this park in comparison to our previous visit where we stayed at another casino for $18/night)

We extended our visit by a day because of the location, amenities and convenience) the $32 daily rate increases to about $40 from Fri-Sun.

This RV park is on site at the Circus Circus Hotel (highly recommended if you have children traveling with you as they have a huge indoor circus carnival area with pay to rides).

PERKS: Location: you are on the strip and walking distance to all the other large hotels, casinos and eateries. The park has a convenience store, well furnished large TV/reading room, game room with air hockey etc, dog park, free dog wash, WiFi, 24 hour roving bike security.

DRAWBACKS: The management informed that the laundry room will be upgraded soon. Currently there were approx 10 washers and only 3 worked. $2 per wash, and of the 12 dryers only 3 worked, $1.75 a load. The hotel does not have a alternate wash facility available so be prepared to plan your laundry trip during their open hours between 10:30 and 5pm.

Shower faucets need improvement, they are the older pull out then turn type but found myself spinning the wobbly knob endlessly before I switched shower stalls and figured it out.

Overall I highly recommend this park for anyone that is looking to enjoy their trip to Vegas. If you simply want somewhere to park your rig, then go ahead and try one of those $18 night places at your own risk. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Tip when making reservation: Reservations can be made online but recommended making by phone which takes 15-20 minutes but then you can request a space as desired for no extra charge! For example near a grassy space with picnic table, near the bathrooms, laundry, main office, pool, dog park, or far from everyone on the back far outskirts.
