Nice park next to Casino if that is your thing. Buffet very good. Wifi also very good. A noisy road early in the morning. Staff very good. Laundry very reasonable. 8 miles from the strip. For the price of Uber you can park at a casino. Parking at the RIO casino is free. Just a 15 minute walk to the strip. We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) in a Motorhome.

This is basically a parking lot but they have a pool, laundry room, several bathhouses, and grassy pet areas. Plus it's an easy walk to Sams Town casino which has several food options, a Beauty Salon, and a shuttle bus to the strip or Fremont street. Cable and wifi both work. All the staff were very nice. Some of them carry dog treats in their golf carts. Lol. If you stay 6 nights, the 7th is free. We found it very convenient for seeing Vegas. If the park was full, you'd be on top of your neighbors. The sites on either side of us were empty so we had plenty of room. We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Walmart is just across the road. We took the casino shuttle back and forth to Fremont Street and the strip. Used Uber a couple times when we went to shows that got out after the shuttle stopped running. Really liked Sams Town casino. Food prices are more reasonable than the strip. They give more comps than the big casinos or at least they don't expect you to gamble a huge amount before you get a free drink. And it's not as crowded. And people are friendlier

A large, accessible and clean place to park your rv on the busy Boulder Hwy. that is a great location to see all of Las Vegas without the crowds at the downtown or strip parks. A variety of large fhu slots all over the park. Warning: if you like to sleep in this is not your park as Vegas never sleeps and mornings at this park very active. If not travelling with pets avoid last row in park as dog run attracts many, many users that like to bark at each other. If you have a dog, this is a great place to stay. Casino just a short walk from rv park. Everything easily accessible for handicapped visitors. We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Park is 15 minutes to downtown or strip (if no traffic problems) and easily accessible entrances and exits from 515 interstate make travel around the city enjoyable. Get a players club card as it drastically cuts prices for the buffet, a really good deal when using the card. The indoor forested area that is a great place to get away from slot machine and other typical casino noises. All in all probably the best rv park & casino pairing we have ever used in spite of intense heat.

This was okay for those who don't want or need to do any sort of camping stuff. The site was very level and the interior roads were very ample. We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Unless all you care about in a meal is stuffing as much food as you can in, avoid the buffet in Sam's Town Casino. It is really horrible.

Park was easy to maneuver around. Office personnel were excellent. Sites are narrow and situated so that entry door faces entry door of neighbor. Cable is provided but very limited channels. We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Las Vegas strip casinos now charge for parking and it isn't cheap. Stick to the casino at Sam's Town and enjoy all the great coupons the campgrounds give you.

Nice park, we camped there over the weekend with temps reaching 115, we arrived Friday night and were told at check in that our site may not have power but would be on with in the hour, well finally after mid night I was able to shut my generator off and go to shore power. I am disappointed we were not offered another site. The rv next to us power was out over 6 hours. when the couple arrived there dog fell out of there rig! I think management who has cell phone numbers should have called those effected. Other then the electric issue the stay was great, pool was nice, restrooms were clean, easy walk to the casino. after hours staff was nice, wifi worked ok for a camp ground. We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Fantastic wifi! This is parking lot camping but it is only $36 per night so who cares. The location is not close to the strip but Uber can bring you back and forth if you came to Vegas to party. Easy to get in and out. Pleasant experience. We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

We stop at this rv park every year on our way to Valley of Fire State Park. It used to be pretty nice, when it was owned by Sam's Club. Now it's just old and worn out. The pool and hot tub area were run down, and the showers were minimally acceptable. There's much work to be done here. We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

This park is really nothing more than a slightly manicured parking lot. It's ok as a base camp for Vegas. The check in was smooth and the staff were nice. It's about a 1/4 mile walk to the Sam's Town casino, movie theater, bowling ally and restaurants. There is very little space between your neighbors and you. You'll also get to enjoy a "celebration" of police sirens all day and night. We likely would not stay here again. The last time we were here was about 15 years ago before it was a KOA. Upon becoming a KOA, it also incorporated an RV park several blocks to the northwest on Boulder Highway. So there are North and South Units to this park. If you want to be next to the casino and across the street from the Walmart, you will want the South Unit. We stayed in the South Unit, so I have no opinion on the North Unit. The south section of the South Unit is laid out in a fan shape with short, side by side, opposite direction pull in/back in sites. These sites are gravel, not overly long, and barely wide enough to park a toad alongside. The northern half of the South Unit is mostly 3 rows of side by side, opposite direction, pull through sites. This is where they put bigger RVs. There is also another row of sites like those on the south section on the northern edge of the park. I believe all sites are FHU with some variance as to amperage. I believe all sites have over 20 cable TV channels. Interestingly, Comedy Central is shown as channel 24 in their listing but all you see on channel 24 is a KOA ad. Looks like censorship to me. There is no WIFI at the sites. You can get it free near the pool or the office. To get WIFI at the site, you must pay - starting at $6 for 24 hours - too much for me. There are several bathhouses throughout the park including one by the very small pool that also has a small laundry. Strangely, 2 of the men's bathrooms that I used had only ONE stall and it was for the handicapped. So, the bath, laundry, and pool are completely inadequate for a park with 287 sites. The lack of free, at site WIFI is another big negative. I would rate this park higher if not for the these negatives. The big plus for this park is the free shuttle service to both the strip and downtown. That was the main reason we stayed here. The staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. The park has recycling bins. We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) in a Motorhome.

We stayed in the North park. It is very basic - paved roads, gravel sites, few trees. Most sites were just open space. It was fine for us, as we spent our time as tourists not at our site. The park was clean and quiet. Bathrooms and showers were good; but, corners, edges of floors and under commodes were dirty. Free internet at pool and office was non existent. I didn't use pay internet. McDonalds was across street for good free WiFi. I would stay again because it provided what we needed. Tips for other Campers:

This is not a destination campground. There are just essentials. A casino is associated with this campground. The casino is nice with a decent buffet and typical casino games. The casino runs a shuttle to a couple of its affiliated casinos near downtown and the "strip". The strip is some distance.

Check in was fast & efficient. The roads and lanes were concrete or black topped. Parking spaces were not very wide making it very tight when putting out slides on both sides of our coach. The parking space was not level and was gravel. We constantly fought the dust being tracked into the coach. When I rolled up my cords and electric line I had to wipe the dirt off them. They quoted us a 70' spot for our rig, but our 69' rig hung over our space by several feet. We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Excellent value for my experience. Fit my 45+ foot toyhauler and dually vehicle easily. I specifically asked for their larger sites and they accommodated without any issue. It's a large facility but being Vegas at this time of the year was extremely hot +116 degrees; didn't walk the grounds too much. Dog run was large. Would stay again. Arrived very late ~ midnight and was greeted by staff. Guided me to site and was a great start to my stay. Front office folks friendly and I constantly saw security driving around in their golf carts. We camped at Las Vegas KOA at Sam's Town (formerly Sam's Town Casino & RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

We found the park very convenient for accessing the Strip thanks to the free shuttle from Sam's Town, though it doesn't run after 9:30 p.m. The park facilities were adequate. We used our Verizon hotspot since the park's wifi was not useful at our site. The bathrooms were small and could use updating, but they were clean. We got the free "b-connect" cards at the casino to access the inexpensive buffet. The $6 breakfast buffet was a great deal.
