5 Parks near Mesquite, Nevada
May 2015 - $30.00
Basically a parking lot with full hookups. Many spaces are narrow but larger lots are generally available for a slightly higher price. Easy access both north and south I-15.
We found staff friendly and helpful. Easy walking to casino and restaurants.
Appears to be able to handle any size RV. - Old Detective
Apr 2015 - $20.00
Sites are small and close together. Sites are full hookup but no wifi.
Entry to RV section very poorly marked. Must check in at hotel desk before going to site. You will be charged an extra $50 inexplicably to your card which is credited at check out. Impossible to get into the Casino from RV park without walking all the way around to the front of the hotel. We were in a motorhome. - fivertug
Jan 2015 - $20.00
Great place to winterize or de-winterize. Yes, tight but OK for price. Good food at Casino, grocery and supplies close by. - RDRV
Mar 2015 - $40.00
Wonderful RV resort. We were there at a time when many long-term residents were just preparing to go home for the summer months. Many retired folks, nice, friendly, easy to love with. Resort rules were followed. Will definitely include this one in our travel diary as a "return" prospect. - RVQueen2013
Feb 2014 - $19.00
Rate is based on a monthly rate, not including electric. We stayed here for four months during the winter. Park is well laid out with a few pull thrus for nightly/weekend folks. The RV sites are intermingled with well-kept park models. The pool is heated and the hot tub is lovely. The billiard room has six tables and is very well kept. Since this park caters mostly to snowbirds, there are a lot of activities: music on some weekend nights, craft get-togethers, coffee and donuts, billiard club, ladies' lunches... the list goes on. The owners are friendly and involved and the price is very reasonable. There is a nice dog walk that is actually easy access to the desert. There is also easy access to the ATV trails that surround Mesquite. They're good for hiking as well as ATVing. We liked this park so much that we made reservations for next winter. - technomad
Sep 2013 - $35.00
We stayed just the one night, but friendly staff and adequate space at the sites. - whaler25
Jan 2015 - $20.00
Stayed two nights after picking up the coach from storage. All utilities worked well, no wifi, but cable tv was good. Staff was very hospitable and we experienced no problems. Would definitely stay here again when traveling through Mesquite. - Rick & Pam
Oct 2014 - $22.00
Over all our experience was bad. Check-in host was rude and not very helpful. The sites are narrow and the longest is 45', leaving no room to park your vehicle. The sewer was rusty, so sewer attachment will not seal. They do have a pool, but it is two blocks away. Wi-Fi connection is very slow. There is grass that runs around the wall and a small area marked for pets. Mostly it is just a blacktop parking lot with water, electric, and sewer hookups. For the price can forgive everything except the rudeness. - Trikki Rikki
Mar 2014 - $25.00
Previous review is incorrect. Most of the Oasis torn down, but the campground is still open and quite crowded. Register at the Casa Blanca. - retiredfields
Mar 2015 - $40.00
Solstice is in a lovely location with incredible views of the surrounding mountains. Easy access on and off the highway with paved internal roads and sites that are pea stone. We drive a 44 ft motorhome and had no difficulty getting into and out of the resort while towing our car. This resort is currently owned by the bank so there has been a bit of a standstill in terms of continued development of the resort. The upper tier of the resort (Zion) is in use and they place coaches in every other site resulting in a yard between sites, although there are no picnic tables available. The host lives on site and is very helpful in getting situated as well as day-to-day needs. We stayed in site 135 along the front row and each of these sites has a bit of a slope front to back. We were able to auto level after a bit of maneuvering on the site. It is a very quiet and peaceful location, although a bit windy at times. Wifi acceptable and cell service at 4 bars. There is a small pond on site with a grassy area for walking the dog. We would stay here again. - LvR
Nov 2014 - $40.00
This campground is open. It is now owned by the bank who purchased it.
Improvements are being made. They now have the best Wi-Fi in Mesquite.
Room enough for the largest of RVs. - Retired2007
Oct 2014 - $40.00
Very nice park that has had some financial issues and trying to get up and running again. We had a very nice stay here, the facilities are well kept up and the management was very welcoming. Great view of the city, all utilities worked well, sites are big, clubhouse was very nice and very quiet day and night. Will definitely return to this park. - dgjg
Mar 2015 - $40.00
This park is good for an overnight stay or if you like to gamble. The sites are long and fairly level but kind of narrow. Interior roads are decent but a little tight when the park is full. It is clean and well tended. The wifi is terrible. - Free
Feb 2015 - $41.00
Wide, paved access road to long, wide gravel sites. Pull-thrus are quite long. Two separate spaced utility hookups at the pull through we had. Two fenced gravel dog parks. Two clean private unisex bathrooms. Located adjacent to Smith's grocery store with eateries within walking distance. Close to I-15 but quiet. Outstanding cable. Seemed a little pricey for no grass, no picnic table, no paved patio but was nearly full in the middle of February. Using their address in the GPS will take you to a closed off entrance. We used 247 Hillside Drive to get us closer but best to use their website directions. Rate was with a Good Sam discount. - Markk
Sep 2014 - $40.00
Very nice, new park with easy access to I-15. The sites are dirt/gravel but level and long enough to keep a tow attached. All utilities are good. One thing to be aware of is the address listed for the park. It gives an address on Old Mill Rd which is on the south side of the park with no access. The correct entry once you leave the interstate is south on Sandhill and then a left onto Hillside which will take you to the entrance to the park. - James T
