The only negative thing I had was the WiFi. Spotty, weak. Other drawback is most sites are only gravel - and maybe a patch of weedy grass. Otherwise, great place to stay! The camp host is terrific. We arrived late and it was dark but he helped us set up even tho he had a broken foot in a cast. This was our 2nd time to stay here. Gorgeous views of Mesquite lights at night. Park is on the side of a mountain just above the hospital. This is a fairly new park and last year the grounds weren't as nice as they are this year. Grass is thicker and greener; nice landscaping and park lights. The clubhouse has a pool table, big screen TV, big comfy furniture. Close to fast food & Walmart. Lanes are wide and accommodating; spacious sites. No obstacles. Don't have to worry about hitting your neighbor's rig with your slide-outs! We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Just down the hill are fast food restaurants, a gas station, and Walmart. Pass through the round-about and go under the freeway to Mesquite for fine dining and gambling at the casinos. Everything is very close.

As others have said the campground is being sold and it is not completed yet but it is still very nice and could be much better in the right hands. I was disappointed that the putting green was no longer being maintained. No pool as of yet. The clubhouse has plenty of other things to do though. WiFi was very good and secure.

The only negative we had was the hosts. They were not very friendly at all. One gentleman barely looked up at as when we went to the clubhouse let alone say hello. You would think they would try to be pleasant given their circumstances.

We would probably try the park again to see if they complete it. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Great park. Original plan was a high end RV resort where you could purchase pads. I hope it will be even better when it is finished. Everyone on staff was friendly. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. They had a nice grassy area for pets. It sits on a bluff above town so you are away from the noise of the casinos. There are a lot of places to ride ATV's around Mesquite and this park has excellent access to some of the best trails. They were good about letting you ride in and out on your ATV. Please be courteous so that this can continue, as I would hate to see another park ban being able to ride directly from your camp site, due to other people using the streets of the rv park as a place to ride for fun. There is a club house with a pool table, exercise room, etc. We were told they were going to begin work to finish it after the first of the year. For now it is our choice to go in Mesquite. The only reason it does not get a 10 is the noise of the circulating pump for the small lake they have. It was a bit annoying. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Newer park that is bank owned, it is in the process of being sold. It would be nice to see it completed and fully operational. Big sites with incredible views of the mountains and city. No grass or picnic tables. Easy access from I15 would stay here again. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is awesome! You are sitting on a cliff above the city overlooking the mountains and the views are awesome!!! There are not many people up here so it is wide open and beautiful. Each lot has a little grass. The only negative is that you expect a level concrete pad and get a relatively level gravel pad. The views more than make up for any shortcomings. This is the place to stay in Mesquite!! Personnel are very friendly and accommodating. Good 50 amps and excellent Wi-Fi. FREE laundry. I cannot say enough about how beautiful it is up here. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Great quiet RV park on a bluff overlooking Mesquite. A new hospital and WAL-mart plus other shopping close by. The closest casino is only two miles away and very easy drive.

There is an extra lot beside your lot for your vehicle. They have a nice game room, exercise room, separate showers and bath. The laundry room is very nice and free to use.

We will stop again when traveling. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Solstice is in a lovely location with incredible views of the surrounding mountains. Easy access on and off the highway with paved internal roads and sites that are pea stone. We drive a 44 ft motorhome and had no difficulty getting into and out of the resort while towing our car. This resort is currently owned by the bank so there has been a bit of a standstill in terms of continued development of the resort. The upper tier of the resort (Zion) is in use and they place coaches in every other site resulting in a yard between sites, although there are no picnic tables available. The host lives on site and is very helpful in getting situated as well as day-to-day needs. We stayed in site 135 along the front row and each of these sites has a bit of a slope front to back. We were able to auto level after a bit of maneuvering on the site. It is a very quiet and peaceful location, although a bit windy at times. Wifi acceptable and cell service at 4 bars. There is a small pond on site with a grassy area for walking the dog. We would stay here again. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Mesquite is a lovely community with nice weather in the winter. They have a recreational park which includes a bike trail and several hiking trails. There are several very scenic practical day trips: Zion National Park, Valley of Fire State Park, and Snow Canyon in St. George Utah.

This campground is open. It is now owned by the bank who purchased it.

Improvements are being made. They now have the best Wi-Fi in Mesquite.

Room enough for the largest of RVs. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice park that has had some financial issues and trying to get up and running again. We had a very nice stay here, the facilities are well kept up and the management was very welcoming. Great view of the city, all utilities worked well, sites are big, clubhouse was very nice and very quiet day and night. Will definitely return to this park. We were the only coach in the park! Sadly, this promising luxury RV park is in bankruptcy, but still open. It sits behind a new regional hospital. Free Wi-Fi but will need an antenna booster, or take laptop to the clubhouse. We used a Wi-Fi booster in our coach and got online with excellent signal strength. Fitness facilities, indoor and outdoor meeting and lounge areas, a bocce ball court, putting green, and laundry and shower facilities. Water fountains with grassy areas there, but no grass at sites. Paved streets and fine-gravel sites. The clubhouse has a pool table, air hockey table, ping-pong, big screen TV with luxurious leather recliners - the whole park is brand new and well-maintained. Very nice park hosts live on-site. Fantastic views of the casinos and lights of Mesquite. Very close to shopping at a new center. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects Good Sam discount. This RV park - not a Resort (there is no pool), is on top of the little hill overlooking Mesquite, with great views around. Because of the slow business they stopped at phase one. I think, they will never finish phase two and three. Because of slow business the office is not open every day. Check in is like in some State Parks on self registering basis. Restrooms and showers are very clean. Wi-Fi is out of order, posted at Office door. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

The basis of this review is the belief that a score of 10 is equivalent to a hotel raring of 5-6 star hotel. We arrived late evening and were greeted by the camp host who assisted us in finding a space and positioning our coach. The park is clean and easy to maneuver with great views of the city lights. It is clean, quiet, easily accessible and the staff pleasant and engaging. It's a new park and still under development. We didn't use Wi-Fi so not sure if it was available. We stayed one night. We will stay here again and tell others to do so as well. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

New, clean, and beautiful mesa top setting. Easy access on paved roads and long wide pea gravel sites. We consider this to be the best park to stay in when visiting Mesquite. WiFi is available, but only in the office/lounge area. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Solitude atop the hill with fantastic sunrise and sunset mountain views! Away from highway noise, this is a new park waiting for its trees to mature, which will help. The only reason we didn't give it a 10 is that at this time, they have only one toilet stall per gender, and 3 showers total (albeit all are brand-new and sparkling). We would stay here again when passing through the area. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.
