This is no longer strictly a Motor Coach Resort, less than half the RV's were Motor homes, that being said, the Resort is very well maintained, it is however still unfinished and lacks many of the amenities normally associated with a Resort of this caliber, but this Resort has great potential. Check in was a very pleasant experience. Interior roads are paved and big rig access is good. We had a very spacious gravel pull in site with a magnificent view of the valley and surrounding mountains. There is little privacy between sites and the landscaping is somewhat sparse. The laundry and the bathrooms were both spotless. Pet friendly with a large dog walk area, doggie bags and disposal station. Wifi and AT&T were good. Super Walmart and Casinos are close by. We would stay here again, it's a very quiet location for just sitting, relaxing and admiring the view. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

This resort has such great potential. We have stayed several times since its opening. It is now under new ownership and hopefully be expanded. The location removed from town so is quite and peaceful and has a great view. It does need a little maintenance in the landscaping. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

We actually did not stay here, but our trailer did. Upon unhooking, we had an electrical fire. It looks like a very nice resort that is being developed. No pool yet, but a nice clubhouse. The reason I am reviewing it is that the staff was so helpful in our time of crisis. It was very hot (110+) and we had to empty our RV refrigerator, freezer. They graciously agreed to store our perishables in their clubhouse refrigerator/freezer for the week we were getting repairs. They also recommended a good repair company that expedited our repairs. We were on the road in a week. If in the area again, we would stay there again. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very open spaces, gorgeous view of the night sky and city lights below. Staff was very friendly and helpful - even called to make sure we knew the exit and didn't get lost along the way. Free laundry, gym and billiards in the club room. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed here just for an overnight. Very new and clean. Gravel site with gravel roads. Wifi worked very well. Cable had 70+ stations. Cell reception was good. A new development and will be higher traffic than it gets now. Restaurants and Walmart are close by. Would stay again. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Great park as long as you are aware that there is no pool or hot tub. Large sites, great location - close to town. Best showers we've ever seen as they are individual and basically in a fair sized washroom. Laundry room had excellent equipment and it was included in the price. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The other high rated park in Mesquite where we have stayed in the past was full when we tried to make a reservation so decided to give Solstice a try and luckily got their last available pull-thru site. We will now probably stay at Solstice. We had a spacious pull-thru (152B) that looks out over the city. What a beautiful view especially at night! The Park is so quiet being just outside town. Excellent wifi at our site. Great cable with a channel guide channel. Sites are gravel. Our's only had a slight slope. At the current time they are only renting every other site so the rented sites are double wide. No fenced dog park but there is grass around the pond for walking dogs. We did not go inside the clubhouse where the bathrooms are. We were escorted to our site. No picnic tables. $5 of the cost was for taxes. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The roads to the park are new so unless you have a very new GPS it might be best to follow the Park's website directions. Do not worry about reviews saying that the park is on a cliff. Access is very easy on new roads with no "white-knuckle" driving what-so-ever

Solstice is the only place we have stayed where you get two spots for the price of one. There are only meters on every other site, so you get one driveway for your RV and another for your vehicle. No stepping out your door to trip on your neighbor! This resort is about a mile off the interstate and is the quietest place in town. Seems like everywhere else we have stayed on our travels has had either road or train noise.

Really good cell phone, wifi and satellite reception. 80 channel cable TV included. The 24 hour clubhouse is super clean and the laundry is free. No joke! Showers are individual rooms just like home so you have privacy and don't feel rushed. The bath rugs and soap are a nice touch.

The ponds are empty right now because they developed a leak that hasn't been found. Hopefully the new owner will put in a pool instead. The grass is patchy at the sites but hey, it is the desert and they get tremendous heat here in summer.

We ride atv's and can get to trails in just a short hop from here and the front desk provided riding rules, free maps and info on the area. Solstice is also dog-friendly. We travel with our pets so it is important to stay at a place where are fur kids are welcome. Overall, we love this place and will always stay here on our travels (when we can get a spot!) Will be anxious to see how the new owners develop this resort! We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The only negative thing I had was the WiFi. Spotty, weak. Other drawback is most sites are only gravel - and maybe a patch of weedy grass. Otherwise, great place to stay! The camp host is terrific. We arrived late and it was dark but he helped us set up even tho he had a broken foot in a cast. This was our 2nd time to stay here. Gorgeous views of Mesquite lights at night. Park is on the side of a mountain just above the hospital. This is a fairly new park and last year the grounds weren't as nice as they are this year. Grass is thicker and greener; nice landscaping and park lights. The clubhouse has a pool table, big screen TV, big comfy furniture. Close to fast food & Walmart. Lanes are wide and accommodating; spacious sites. No obstacles. Don't have to worry about hitting your neighbor's rig with your slide-outs! We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Just down the hill are fast food restaurants, a gas station, and Walmart. Pass through the round-about and go under the freeway to Mesquite for fine dining and gambling at the casinos. Everything is very close.

As others have said the campground is being sold and it is not completed yet but it is still very nice and could be much better in the right hands. I was disappointed that the putting green was no longer being maintained. No pool as of yet. The clubhouse has plenty of other things to do though. WiFi was very good and secure.

The only negative we had was the hosts. They were not very friendly at all. One gentleman barely looked up at as when we went to the clubhouse let alone say hello. You would think they would try to be pleasant given their circumstances.

We would probably try the park again to see if they complete it. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Great park. Original plan was a high end RV resort where you could purchase pads. I hope it will be even better when it is finished. Everyone on staff was friendly. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. They had a nice grassy area for pets. It sits on a bluff above town so you are away from the noise of the casinos. There are a lot of places to ride ATV's around Mesquite and this park has excellent access to some of the best trails. They were good about letting you ride in and out on your ATV. Please be courteous so that this can continue, as I would hate to see another park ban being able to ride directly from your camp site, due to other people using the streets of the rv park as a place to ride for fun. There is a club house with a pool table, exercise room, etc. We were told they were going to begin work to finish it after the first of the year. For now it is our choice to go in Mesquite. The only reason it does not get a 10 is the noise of the circulating pump for the small lake they have. It was a bit annoying. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Newer park that is bank owned, it is in the process of being sold. It would be nice to see it completed and fully operational. Big sites with incredible views of the mountains and city. No grass or picnic tables. Easy access from I15 would stay here again. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is awesome! You are sitting on a cliff above the city overlooking the mountains and the views are awesome!!! There are not many people up here so it is wide open and beautiful. Each lot has a little grass. The only negative is that you expect a level concrete pad and get a relatively level gravel pad. The views more than make up for any shortcomings. This is the place to stay in Mesquite!! Personnel are very friendly and accommodating. Good 50 amps and excellent Wi-Fi. FREE laundry. I cannot say enough about how beautiful it is up here. Great quiet RV park on a bluff overlooking Mesquite. A new hospital and WAL-mart plus other shopping close by. The closest casino is only two miles away and very easy drive.

There is an extra lot beside your lot for your vehicle. They have a nice game room, exercise room, separate showers and bath. The laundry room is very nice and free to use.

We will stop again when traveling. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Solstice is in a lovely location with incredible views of the surrounding mountains. Easy access on and off the highway with paved internal roads and sites that are pea stone. We drive a 44 ft motorhome and had no difficulty getting into and out of the resort while towing our car. This resort is currently owned by the bank so there has been a bit of a standstill in terms of continued development of the resort. The upper tier of the resort (Zion) is in use and they place coaches in every other site resulting in a yard between sites, although there are no picnic tables available. The host lives on site and is very helpful in getting situated as well as day-to-day needs. We stayed in site 135 along the front row and each of these sites has a bit of a slope front to back. We were able to auto level after a bit of maneuvering on the site. It is a very quiet and peaceful location, although a bit windy at times. Wifi acceptable and cell service at 4 bars. There is a small pond on site with a grassy area for walking the dog. We would stay here again. We camped at Solstice Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Mesquite is a lovely community with nice weather in the winter. They have a recreational park which includes a bike trail and several hiking trails. There are several very scenic practical day trips: Zion National Park, Valley of Fire State Park, and Snow Canyon in St. George Utah.
