A welcome oasis as temps outside were 105. Nicely shaded with mature trees. Park was maybe 2/3 full and had no issues with electric even though everyone was running air conditioners 24/7. Level paved sites with decent separation. Strong Verizon cell signal. Our site was towards the back of park away from the pool, playground, and lake thus a bit quieter. Check-in was a snap and office ladies very pleasant. Would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Lakeside Casino & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Maybe I hit it at the wrong time but I tried calling to make a reservation on Friday for the coming Saturday and Sunday and called at 5:50pm and again at 6:30 and had to leave a message both times for them to call back.
They didn't. I called again 9;30am Saturday and the same scenario.

I arrived Saturday around 4:15pm and asked why they didn't return my phone calls and was told they close at 5:00pm on Friday. ( there phone message states they close at 7:00pm.) They still didn't call back on any of the 3 messages.

I was assigned a site which I did not like and they did let me move to a ( premium site at a little more which I was told I could pay the difference the next day. That was OK with me.
Although the premium site was not any different from the 2 next to it which were not premium.
It was a weekend and there were a lot of kids riding around and cutting through our site to get to the lake.

We even left after one night even though we paid for two.

They didn't open up until 9:00am so I called and left a message that if I could get a refund for the second night minus the extra cost for the first night that would be great.
Guess what...no return call.

When we checked in they did not mention any code for the wifi so I can't really comment on that.
They do have cable outlets but do not offer it.

I would not stay here again. We camped at Lakeside Casino & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We've camped here many times. It previously was a beautiful, well maintained park, but with new owners taking over out of bankruptcy, from a previous group they have not brought it back to its former class. The grass was dying (they claim that they are working to repair a broken sprinkler system, we'll see), the lake water level was down. Check-in was Slooooooooow. The clerks claimed it was a new reservation system, but I think it was more that the clerks weren't trained correctly, if at all. The associated Lakeside restaurant has been refurbished and modernized. The food was edible, but the chef won't win a James Beard award. Succinctly this park was not up to previous standards.... but, the presence of lake in the middle of the desert still makes it a good place to stop. In all fairness, the new owners need to spend significant funds to elevate it back to its original shape and this will take some time. We camped at Lakeside Casino & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We had our travel trailer washed by Scott's Mobile RV Wash while in the park. They did an excellent job. The extra money for cleaning the roof was worth it. They were on their hands and knees scrubbing the surface.

This is one of the best parks I have stayed in. The spaces are cement with a pad. Grass all around the site, trees are well groomed! The lake is stocked has paddle boats and kayaks. The office staff is not so nice and never seem to know what's going on or willing to answer questions. I must say the park is great and makes up for the office staff! We camped at Lakeside Casino & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Been coming to the park for 5 years and agree its been a downhill slide since Terribles sold out. Check in staff had their usual "Grumpy Cat" faces on and were clueless. Park is the best in town ( not saying much for the others ). Paved roads, concrete pads with patio and lots of space, lots of trees and easy in and out. Security is extreme on weekends, got a dog warning while wife was hand holding dog (not on leash) while backing into site. Water does go out for 8-10 hours on days when they water the grass, seems with the drought they empty the well. Lake is nice to look at and walk your dog around, but green and muddy with trash, No Swimming (wouldn't want to ), lots of folks fishing ( no catching ). Talking with locals there is going to be a 33% rate increase as of November 1st. Wi-fi very spotty and poor. Would like to stay here again but will have to see what the rate goes to. We camped at Lakeside Casino & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Large fully landscaped concrete pads with attached concrete patio. Some sites had tables (ours did not). Fishing, pedal boats, frisbee golf and horseshoes. lagoon, sandy beach, fire pits and cabanas, heated pool and jacuzzi. WiFi was spotty. The lake is starting to get overgrown with weeds. This is one of those strange little campgrounds in the middle of nowhere. Don't get me wrong, the sites surrounding the man-made lake are nice and there is ample shade from the trees on site. But in all reality, there's nothing much to do here otherwise. No hiking trails, no bike paths, just a run down smoke-filled old casino with a few slot machines and a restaurant that has seen much better days. Wi-Fi is painfully slow and constantly disconnects, the sites are wired for cable TV but they no longer have cable service available. Certainly if you're planning a stay in Pahrump it's one of the nicer places in town but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again. We camped at Lakeside Casino & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Have been coming to this park for over eight years and have seen this park as a wonderful place to stay except for weekends. Have been here in the Spring and the Fall on our way through as snow birds. As of the new owners we have seen a steady decline. This no longer is a 10-10-10 park.

The weekends have become more active with kids, dogs, cars, pickups, atvs, and golf carts. Inner park is saturated with a lot of traffic!!

They are having jet ski races 4 times a year on this little pond and the noise is unbearable and the security in the park is very lax in rule enforcement. The maintenance of the park landscaping is less than desirable if you like grass. Sites are overrun with tiny ants. The ducks and geese have also taken over the pond (very honky & quaky even at night). The Casino is smoky and the slots are so tight now that don't bother playing.

The park is still a very quite pretty place during the week, but if you want quite the weekends are hell. We camped at Lakeside Casino & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in site #3 which was backed right up to the beach. Very nice, very convenient. The site itself is nothing to brag about - it's a flat pad with some grass next to it - but the park overall is clean and well maintained as far as I could tell.

One complaint I have about the sites is that your neighbor's sewer connection is less than 10' from your picnic table without any barrier or screen of any kind - probably closer to 6-8'. You can't move your table, so you're stuck hoping and praying your neighbor has working sewer connections and knows how to use them. Ours didn't.

The casino, um... isn't worth the walk over to it. We didn't eat at the restaurant because we cook in our RV. (We did treat ourselves to dinner out at the restaurant in Wine Ridge RV Resort just up the road; the food and service were awesome, though it was very expensive.)

My wife complained that while the pool looked clean, her bathing suit was filthy when she washed it.... so there's that (and it was a new bathing suit she bought specifically for that trip). It was likely just all the sunscreens and oils from all the swimmers that weekend; it was busy and hot, so the pool was used a lot. But still...

The employees were pleasant and helpful. I spoke to one who had worked there for 17 years and he was still happy to show up to work every day... so that's something. Wi-Fi was spotty, but when it worked it worked pretty well.

Overall, the park was a pleasant experience - it's pretty to look at, it's quiet, well shaded, conveniently located, easy to navigate, etc. It wouldn't necessarily be a destination for us if we were coming from far away, but it's a great weekend getaway for us coming from Las Vegas. I also wouldn't call it a "resort" - though I suppose technically it could be defined as such - but I would call it a nice place to park your rig and camp for a few days. There's not enough to do and see around there to make a longer stay worthwhile. We camped at Lakeside Casino & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have been coming here a couple times a year for 8 years. Having a change in management has shown to be a bad decision, as the park is going downhill. The water goes out every few days for a couple of hours while they try to fix the pump. We had to change sites because they said a rally was coming and had requested our site, but the site remained vacant for the next five days we were there.

The casino had very few players (maybe a dozen) and the machines have been tightened up beyond belief.

We went to the Mexican buffet and the food was cold and tasted like leftovers. Come to find out, the taco meat was indeed ground up pot roast from the day before. We decided to give it another try but when only two couples were in the restaurant, we took the hint and left. We were saddened to see the lake full of cattails again and the grass is not kept like it was, full of weeds and gophers. We camped at Lakeside Casino & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were so happy to see trees and grass again after being in the desert for two months, this place was great. Our space was a back-in (which we hate) but it was fairly easy to get into. Adequate area between spaces. Lovely little lake with masses of water birds. Nice place to walk dogs. Good location for a day trip to Death Valley. Would definitely stay here again (especially at the Passport America rate). We camped at Lakeside Casino & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here 3 years ago and found it to be a nice spot so decided to stay again, BUT it seems they have changed hands and the place has gone down hill. At the Passport America price of $27 we paid I feel is still too much and I certainly would be upset if we would have paid the full price without Passport America. However the roads are easy to navigate for any sized rig, some sites might not allow for satellite TV use because of tree's but the good thing is "they have tree's", fuel and small store next to the park, quiet at night, short distance outside of time, nice walking trail around the man made lake, water and septic hookups are right next to each other which probably isn't a real big deal but is always odd to me. We camped at Lakeside Casino & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very pretty park surrounding a man-made lake. Sites are concrete and grass and each has a picnic table. Park provides free paddle boats to scoot around the lake on. Fishing is catch and release, and no license is required because it is privately owned. Utilities were adequate and water pressure was good. We camped at Lakeside Casino & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice clean attractive setting, a nice man made lake in the middle. The lake makes for a nice dog walk, dog bags are provided around the lake. All the RV sites are well spread out around the lake, so the sites are fairly large, so there is plenty of room for the largest of motor homes or 5th wheels with slide outs, and a tow car. The nicest park in the area, also get their players card and the rates are very reasonable. We camped at Lakeside Casino & RV Park in a Motorhome.
