Rate is for monthly stay. We enjoyed this park - friendly people, great location in the "heart" of town, and excellent facilities. Large recreation center with pool, sauna, billiard room, and library. Relaxing Koi pond next to horseshoe and shuffleboard courts. Sites are reasonable level, gravel, and long enough for tow to be parked, and most have shade. The park WiFi was excellent, Verizon cell/data were strong, and although no cable TV, there were ample OTA channels and clear view of satellites from most sites. Dusty when windy, and it's almost always windy here. The entry booth often is overwhelmed by new arrival check-ins and visits from residents and can result in delays in entry to the park. We camped at Preferred RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We arrived mid-afternoon and were greeted with smiles and a welcoming attitude. Made us feel very welcome. Our reservation packet was complete upon arrival. Check in was easy and smooth. This is a Coast to Coast member park so fee does not reflect actual cost. I did have to pay a $3.00/day surcharge for 50A electricity however. Security guard at entrance 24/7. Interior roadways are easily navigated to our long pull thru. I had room for my 40' Phaeton towing an 18' car hauler trailer. Still has room at rear to park my 2nd vehicle. Electrical pole close but a long run for sewer. Required my extension hose to reach receptacle and on my site, flow was a little up hill. Good thing sewer connection on my RV was a little higher than site sewer connection. Somewhat level, gravel with concrete patio sites. Trees provide shade. Sites are configured so RV direction is alternated so you share a single pole with two electric panels on driver's side and you share space with your neighbor but have your own patio and picnic table. There is an outside, heated pool. The club house has a kitchen. Many park-hosted activities are held there, like breakfast, or Bingo, or a host of other activities!! Clean showers and bathrooms available. We were met by the park host, who suggested various day trips and other close to park activities. He asked several times before he left us, "do you have any questions that I might be able to answer?" He was very conscientious!! We were quickly greeted by our neighbors and we're made to feel welcomed!! Surrounded by the Spring Mountain range. Some peaks are snow covered!! We camped at Preferred RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Take a day trip to Death Valley and several days to Las Vegas!!!

We came for easy access to Death Valley, 45 minutes away. That worked fine for us (spent all day on long drive--great, worth the visit). The CG had its own veritable forest, a lot of green in the desert! We aren't much for pools or activities, but they clearly have a lot. Park is huge and caters to families thru retirees. They even had a greeter who came to our campsite with all sorts of suggestions, including planning our trip thru Death Valley--sage advise, as it turned out. We camped at Preferred RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Listen to the greeter's advice re Death Valley stops. A number of people spoke highly of the local winery.

All gravel sites - nice and long with full hookups & 30/50 AMP power. Gravel with concrete pad for picnic table. Tall pine tree at each site. Hookups are convenient and all hookups work well. We were put in Row W. I don't recommend that row as it backs up to a small street and the trees are still small with just a little shade. The advantage of Row W is you have lots of side to side space. Beautiful gardens with a koi pond. Nice kids playground. No fenced dog park. Staff and other RVer's are very friendly. This park has many many activities every week including an enclosed Heated salt water pool, extensive wood shop, stained glass shop with available instruction, arts/crafts & sewing, and a full activities calendar every week. No cable TV but excellent over air TV. We would definitely look forward to staying here again. We camped at Preferred RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Beautiful Albertsons grocery close by. Numerous shops and restaurants as well as casinos close by.

Preferred RV Resort is a member owned park that is spacious and well maintained. Many of the sites are pull through. However, they share a front yard which makes things a bit tight. If you are not friends, you will become friends quickly.
It appears that when possible they stagger the sites to give you more room. This was our experience.
The manager is very helpful and friendly and, a wonderful photographer. Sadly, not even he could get the Wifi working during the five days we were there. The park has very thing from an indoor/out pool (sliding roof) to a hot tub. I'm sure it's just me but, if they can't get their Wifi working I hesitate to get into their hot tub. Most likely just me.
The roads are a mix of gravel and valley dust. So, it's dusty. That doesn't really matter because when the wind blows all of Pahrump is seriously dusty.
You are within easy walking distance of two casinos and a Walgreens drug store. We camped at Preferred RV Resort in a Motorhome.
Don't miss a tour of the famous Chicken Ranch

Stayed for 3 nights in our teardrop camper while traveling for 2 months across country. This was another of our favorite locations. Camp staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had many people staying there stop by and welcome us. We found this to be a perfect location for our visit to Death Valley. Very safe and secure - is gated and has staff at the gate 24 hours. We camped at Preferred RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The rate we paid was through our RPI membership. The spaceous sites are gravel with a concrete patio and a picnic table. No fire pit or cable TV. They have an enclosed pool that has a cover that opens when the weather permits. They also have an indoor spa and very nice bathroom/changing rooms. The grounds offer a cute desert landscaped pond with coy. They also have shuffle boards, horseshoe pits and a play area with swings, merry-go-round and a tetter toter for the kids. There is also a room with excercise equipment, a pool table room, a TV/game/reading room. Their common room offers meals, so check the daily schedule. We took our grandkids there for the second time and they really enjoy all the amenities. We camped at Preferred RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pull through sites are shared, you are facing your neighbor and are very close together, I was happy they didn't have a window by my door or I would have seen every move they made. There are 2 concrete pads 6 feet apart, one for your neighbor, one for you, sites are long and relatively level. The website states they have an indoor pool and are working building a retractable roof. Neither is true. The hot tub is inside and heated, the pool is outside, not covered, nor heated, when we asked about it they said "it's a long story". The park is pretty with nice sitting areas around fountains and koy filled ponds. Schedule of daily activities. The free wifi isn't very strong. They do accept visitor mail and packages. Secure park with 24 hr gate attendant. The surrounding area is safe. Camp host comes to welcome you with a packet of brochures and maps of area and good knowledge to answer any questions. Due to closeness of sites, unheated pool and poor wifi, this wouldn't be my first choice to stay at if I were paying the full nightly rate. We camped at Preferred RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice day trip to Death Valley or Las Vegas. Casinos within walking distance with an all day $5 buffet. At sunset, walk up row 200 and get an amazing view of the American flag with the mountains and sunset in the background

Our experience was great. Not a "swank" resort but very nice. Campground not crowded, got wonderful site, large tree, very comfortable. Fellow came by with package for sightseeing trips. Close to town, casinos, food etc., very quiet. Enjoyed very much and would go back. We camped at Preferred RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We used this park for a monthly visit to be near family in Las Vegas. It is a 24 hour manned gated park. Personnel are pleasant and helpful. There are a variety of activities offered which are listed on a board on a daily basis although at this time of year they are not widely attended. Pool and hot tub are clean and kept at decent temperatures. It would appear that the people who are park members take pride in the park and work to keep up appearances. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Preferred RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Within walking distance of Smith's grocery store and two casinos. Easy drive to a Walmart, Sonic, Albertson's and other shopping.

Price reflects C2C membership. Campground was very easy to find. The hospitality of this campground is unlike any we have experienced. A short time after checking in, the campground host came to our RV to welcome us personally and to give us a small packet of information for the area. He gave us information about some of the best attractions. There are daily activities-meals and games. This is a standard "parking lot" style campground. However, they can easily handle big rigs. Sites are close together, but they make every effort to make sure RV doors and windows are not parallel. We were able to park the RV and truck in our site-not enough room for the jeep. Each site has a small concrete patio and picnic table. Some sites have trees-some were large enough to offer some shade. Campground and the sites are all level. The sites and roads are gravel, but very well maintained. We had 50amp without any additional cost.
The pool is large and heated. There are plenty of tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the pool. The hot tub is inside, just off the pool. It is obvious that they work on improvements at this resort. There was evidence of recent and ongoing improvements. Laundry room was clean, 3 washers and 3 dryers. There was a very nice work out area with very good quality equipment.
There were nicely landscaped areas throughout the resort. They had a nice cactus garden with a koi pond/stream.
Good Verizon coverage. Easy to get DirecTV satellite. Wi-Fi was available-but slow.
Our site was right next to the maintenance building, so we were awaked each day with workers and their equipment noise. Our only real issues were the size of the sites and the worker noise. We look forward to returning. We camped at Preferred RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Went into Death Valley 2 days, could have done even more. Pahrump Winery is a great visit.

All of the interior roads and all sites are on crushed, dusty gravel. There is a mixture of pull-thrus and back-in sites available. The sites are reasonably wide. All of the utilities are in the back of the sites and they request that you park beyond the utility box. A long water and sewer hose will be needed. The electrical voltage was good - hovering around 122. This may not be the case if everyone was using their air conditioner.
WiFi was available but we did not use it. Verizon air card and cell phone worked well within this park. It was very quiet at night and their interior street lights were working. No open flames such as charcoal grills or fire pits are allowed.
Management has poured a lot of money in this campground. The pool, spa and gym were recently upgraded. Don't be fooled by the look of the exterior of the buildings. This park has a lot of potential but enough negatives that would probably keep me from coming back for any length of time.
Many of the rigs within this park are over 15 years old. Many sites have junk lying around. One site has a couple of car batteries on the ground, cinder blocks for steps, an outside refrigerator and other junk scattered around. Definitely not appealing. Calling this a 5 star resort is a long stretch.
The average age within this park seems to be over 70. There seems to be nothing to attract the younger crowd. We camped at Preferred RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The location of this park is great; between two casinos and walking distance to a grocery store as well. The sites are spacious gravel sites with a picnic table and a concrete patio. No fire pits, but you can use a propane fire pit. There are also lots of trees for shade. However, that can be a problem for satellite reception as they do not have cable. They have a nice pool covered in the winter and heated as well as an inside spa. Their clubhouse offers pool tables and a reading/puzzle room and a meeting/dining room. In addition there is a building containing a small gym, wood shop and glass shop. The grounds are pleasant with a koi pond, cactus garden, shuffle board courts, horseshoes and a playground for the kids. The free WiFi is slow and the TV reception with our antenna was non existent. Great park, we will be back. We camped at Preferred RV Resort in a Motorhome.
