Called to reserve 2 RV spots while we were still about an hour away. Friendly, helpful staff got us registered quickly. The park is beautiful and had a lot of amenities including a pool and an RV wash station. Beautiful scenery and very quiet. We arrived late afternoon/evening and it was not too hot. Not much shade, so I assume it would be hot during the day. For an overnight stay it wa just perfect for us. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

We loved this park. Located on the desert edge it provided spacious level sites with full hookups. This is one of the best maintained CGs we have visited with two temperature controlled pools, one for adults and one for children, an RV wash facility and pet area. The winery, on property, offers free wine tasting and a superb restaurant. Garbage is picked up at your site daily. The main office closes at 3pm so make reservations if you plan to arrive after. We would not stay anywhere else in Pahrump. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Had viewed this park a couple years ago while in Pahrump, and decided to give it a try on our way back to WA from AZ. Office was closed when we arrived, but info readily available for our site. The last row of sites where we were placed, which are either pull-through or back-in, were a bit tight and narrow for a 42 ft 5th wheel, especially to keep the slides away from the small trees at either side. Gravel site with very small patio, but no table(though there were tables at other empty sites). Nice paved streets throughout. No cable TV, but good satellite and Verizon. Would stay again if in the area. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

As other have said this is the eastern edge of the community in the desert. No shade. No Cable TV so if you don't have satellite you are out of luck. No wifi I would go down the street and stay at the casino campground that has more to offer. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

All gravel back-in sites that we could see. Spacious sites though no tables or other amenities. Road in is through a neighborhood with narrow roads until you get into the park where they have plenty of room.

Nice amenities in the resort, just didn't use them as our time there was limited. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Hit up the winery and Symphony restaurant. Also Ohjah Japanese Steakhouse. Couldn't believe there were only 2 ice cream spots in the town and only 1 was good.

A gravel lot in the desert. Great views but not much else to do while here.

I must say it was cold while we were here, so using the pool or hot tub wasn't in the cards. No green around the sites.

We paid for the month but only stayed 2 weeks because of the cold.

Would not stay here again, there are plenty of nice RV parks in the area to choose from. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Seems to be a fairly new park/resort. Wide gravel back in sites with no shade trees. This is a resort type park with pickle ball courts, work out room, pool, cabins and park models for rent. Nice feature is a place to wash your RV. Resort is associated with a winery on property that offers free wine tasting and tours (decent wines) and an upscale resturant. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed 2 nights to make a day trip into Death Valley NP. The park is located on the outskirts of town requiring a drive through a residential area along 2 lane paved roads. The transition from the city streets to the park required negotiating a significant grade change posing a scraping hazard. Then a climb up a single lane paved entrance road to the registration parking area. Then yet another climb up to the site area passing over several speed bumps.

The park was built on a significant slope. There was an attempt to tier the sites level but not all of them appear level. The interior roads are paved and sites are gravel. The roads and turns were negotiable. There was a mixture of pull through and back in sites. The P/T sites were long enough for larger coaches with their toads attached. Sites had sufficient room for opening slides. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were at the rear of the site requiring parking at the rear of the site to reduce hose/cable runs. The sewer connection was at the ground level so it was easy to establish a downhill flow. Distance and gravel areas establish privacy between the sites. There was not an outside table or fire pit. There seem to be some long term residents.

There were a few trees scattered among the sites so satellite reception was dependent on site assignment. The park did not provide cable TV and there was no information about broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels. The park provided WiFi was "meant for casual use only; emails and light browsing" so we didn't try to use it. It was password protected. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Didn't try the NET10 phone so don't know about the reception.

There was fenced pet area in a corner of the park. The ground cover was small pebbles and artificial grass. There was a bag dispenser and waste collection station in the park.

If we returned to the area, we probably would stay at another park in town. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

We were invaded by a pack rat in the engine compartment of our 41' MH within hours of settling in. Discovered later, it appeared the pack rat made it into the engine compartment of toad as well.

Very happily surprised at this immaculate park; even in the off-season! We had stopped, or should I say, drove through another park in Amargosa before deciding to travel on to Pahrump. I had stayed in this city before at one of the casino lots but my spouse insisted we give this one a try. I wonder if the word "wine" in the title had anything to do with that? Office was closing as we arrived but registration gal took care of everything from her little cabin just up the way from the office. Paved approach and access to sites except that last row (ours) was gravel. Site was gravel and nearly level. Electric worked fine; we did not use water until we dumped and flushed the next morning and that went well also.

Pool, spa, laundry, rest room and shower areas were all spotless. We did the free tasting at the winery and enjoyed an exquisite dinner at Symphony, the restaurant connected to the winery. I imagine this place is quite hopping during peak season. Will try to return when in the area. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this park several times and will come back again. The spaceous sites are gravel with a concrete patio area. No picnic table, fire pit or cable TV which would make this park a 10. Pick a back-in site in rows 200, 400, 600 or 800 as they face Mt Charleston, which is a great view. The upper pool area has a spa and a fire pit with seating around. The winery has a great restaurant as well as free wine tasting in their tasting room. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Death Valley is a great day trip. Get an early start to get in all the major sites.
Tecopa Hot Springs is an interesting place to go for a hot spring dip in their pools.
China Date Ranch is another place to go and near Tecopa Hot Springs. Be sure to order their Date Shake. Very tasty and very filling, so you might want to share one.

This is a very nice RV Park but not a resort. The sites are all gravel with a 4X8 concrete patio, no table or fire pits and not all that large. The utilities are grouped together on the rear quarter of the lot and function as expected. The wifi was totally useless and there is NO cable, OTA TV only!! Sites are level and roads are paved and wide enough to allow large rigs. The park has several scheduled activities. the pool is unheated but the hot tub was nice and warm. This could have been a 8 or 9 rated park except for the lack of working wifi and cable TV. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

I would have rated Wine Ridge a "9 or 10" if their Wi-Fi was acceptable. They advertise "Free and enhanced Wi-Fi" but although it was free, it was anything but "enhanced." Reception issues aside, they have a block on YouTube (Wine Ridge uses YouTube videos on their website, but you can't view them using their Wi-Fi), and Netflix. (This block mysteriously disappeared when the latest season of "House of Cards" was showing and reappeared once one could be expected to finish viewing the episodes. I believe someone with access to the right button wanted to watch this on the park Wi-Fi.) This means if it's a video, whether it's educational or entertainment, you won't be able to view it on their Wi-Fi. This is not revealed ahead of time and I'm trying to figure out what the "enhanced" is? My stay was during the winter months so maybe the Wi-Fi is now up to decent standards. This is a pet peeve of mine as I plan accordingly for Wi-Fi access. Don't advertise Wi-Fi if it isn't in good working order and free of restrictions.

On the plus side, Wine Ridge is a very well run RV Park with customer satisfaction a high priority. It is extremely clean with the staff being very attentive to visitor's needs. I have not stayed at any RV Park which offers better value for the dollar than Wine Ridge. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.
