Beautiful RV park. Two pools that are well kept. Nice club house with activities going on regularly. No picnic table provided at a lot of the spots. No fire rings but we used our propane one We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for the month of May. The monthly rate was a real bargain. The park is clean and pleasant. Sites are wide and level. The clubhouse is excellent. There is a nice kitchen for guest use. The lending library has a large selection of movies as well as books. The pool tables are like new. The swimming pools are beautiful. There is a huge, lovely yard around the smaller pool with tables, a bar area, a fire table with comfortable seating around it. The laundry room is very nice and inexpensive. There is a car and rv wash available at a reasonable cost as well. The pickleball courts are great. The staff is great. Overall this is by far one of the best parks we have stayed in over our 12 years as almost full timers. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Excellent park near Death Valley. All the sites are back in but the roads are wide so it it not an issue. I was pulling a 36' trailer and had no problems. The campground is away from the highway so there was no road noise. It is attached to a winery so sample their wines. They had a Wednesday wine and dinner special for the campers. For $15pp you had dinner and up to 3 glasses of wine. The winery also has an upscale restaurant for those special occasions. Our special occasion was "Friday". Good wifi signal strength at trailer. Two pools with outdoor hot tubs (to soak your tired muscles after hiking in Death Valley). We will return next trip out west. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Winter is the best time to visit Death Valley. Highs were 75-80F. Stay in Parumph when visiting Death Valley. The towns closer to Death Valley have limited shopping/grocery. Pahrump has all the major stores you need. It is also convenient for going to Las Vegas for dinner and a show.

RV park sitting next to winery. Well maintained, very nice pools, hot tub, vehicle wash station ,access to 4 wheel activities, social activities and game room. Also lots of park cottages. Predominately seasonal RV campers since there is much to do. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to do. Ash Meadows Wildlife Refuge is worth a day+. Death Valley is worth several days. Casinos in Pahrump plus Vegas is less than 1 hour away. Two wineries. The one at the RV park has an excellent restaurant and wines, the other winery is a lovely venue and good wines.

Overall Rating:

A truly exceptional value for longer stays. Nice looking, clean, well maintained park with a super staff. Level gravel sites, paved roads, plenty of maneuvering room. It might not have the size and diversity of facilities and activities of mega parks (2 pickleball courts instead of ?? or 1 pool table instead of ??, etc) but those they do have are well done, kept up and consistent with the size of the park. Same thing with the activities which are well suited to the park. The only less than really good aspects of the park we've noticed are wifi and parking limitations. Wifi issues are not unusual but there is no real parking area for the laundry facility nor any convenient area for hooking up on the way out - good thing the roads are wide. Also no picnic tables at most sites. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very nice park in a quiet area. Private showers. Beautiful but cold pools. Winery with tasting room and gift shop next door. Very reasonably priced wines and they are quite good. Did not have an opportunity to eat at the restaurant on the property but others said it is delicious. We will definitely be back. Sites are gravel and patios are very small. Sites are not cleaned up after each guest so we swept the patio and picked up bottle caps and cigarette butts. Only 1 row of pull thru sites that we require because of our size. Wanted to stay an additional day but they were full do to the upcoming Grape Stomp and they allow tiny trailers into their large pull thrus. Plenty of back ins were available however which would have allowed us to stay. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Called to reserve 2 RV spots while we were still about an hour away. Friendly, helpful staff got us registered quickly. The park is beautiful and had a lot of amenities including a pool and an RV wash station. Beautiful scenery and very quiet. We arrived late afternoon/evening and it was not too hot. Not much shade, so I assume it would be hot during the day. For an overnight stay it wa just perfect for us. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

We loved this park. Located on the desert edge it provided spacious level sites with full hookups. This is one of the best maintained CGs we have visited with two temperature controlled pools, one for adults and one for children, an RV wash facility and pet area. The winery, on property, offers free wine tasting and a superb restaurant. Garbage is picked up at your site daily. The main office closes at 3pm so make reservations if you plan to arrive after. We would not stay anywhere else in Pahrump. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Had viewed this park a couple years ago while in Pahrump, and decided to give it a try on our way back to WA from AZ. Office was closed when we arrived, but info readily available for our site. The last row of sites where we were placed, which are either pull-through or back-in, were a bit tight and narrow for a 42 ft 5th wheel, especially to keep the slides away from the small trees at either side. Gravel site with very small patio, but no table(though there were tables at other empty sites). Nice paved streets throughout. No cable TV, but good satellite and Verizon. Would stay again if in the area. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

As other have said this is the eastern edge of the community in the desert. No shade. No Cable TV so if you don't have satellite you are out of luck. No wifi I would go down the street and stay at the casino campground that has more to offer. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

All gravel back-in sites that we could see. Spacious sites though no tables or other amenities. Road in is through a neighborhood with narrow roads until you get into the park where they have plenty of room.

Nice amenities in the resort, just didn't use them as our time there was limited. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

A gravel lot in the desert. Great views but not much else to do while here.

I must say it was cold while we were here, so using the pool or hot tub wasn't in the cards. No green around the sites.

We paid for the month but only stayed 2 weeks because of the cold.

Would not stay here again, there are plenty of nice RV parks in the area to choose from. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed 2 nights to make a day trip into Death Valley NP. The park is located on the outskirts of town requiring a drive through a residential area along 2 lane paved roads. The transition from the city streets to the park required negotiating a significant grade change posing a scraping hazard. Then a climb up a single lane paved entrance road to the registration parking area. Then yet another climb up to the site area passing over several speed bumps.

The park was built on a significant slope. There was an attempt to tier the sites level but not all of them appear level. The interior roads are paved and sites are gravel. The roads and turns were negotiable. There was a mixture of pull through and back in sites. The P/T sites were long enough for larger coaches with their toads attached. Sites had sufficient room for opening slides. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were at the rear of the site requiring parking at the rear of the site to reduce hose/cable runs. The sewer connection was at the ground level so it was easy to establish a downhill flow. Distance and gravel areas establish privacy between the sites. There was not an outside table or fire pit. There seem to be some long term residents.

There were a few trees scattered among the sites so satellite reception was dependent on site assignment. The park did not provide cable TV and there was no information about broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels. The park provided WiFi was "meant for casual use only; emails and light browsing" so we didn't try to use it. It was password protected. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Didn't try the NET10 phone so don't know about the reception.

There was fenced pet area in a corner of the park. The ground cover was small pebbles and artificial grass. There was a bag dispenser and waste collection station in the park.

If we returned to the area, we probably would stay at another park in town. We camped at Wine Ridge RV Resort & Cottages in a Motorhome.
