3 RV Parks near Primm, Nevada
May 2018 - $30.00
Biggest negative was noise: very close to RR tracks. At least four trains between midnight and 6am. Postive: Good overnight location for us when headed from CA to Utah. Near NW edge of Mojave National Preserve. Verizon 4G with 3 bars. Located about 10 miles off I-15. Older blacktop road to the area was slightly rough. Interior roads and pads were flat and mostly level. Friendly staff, but new person at trading post sent us to the long-term RV area. We eventually found the 4 sites for overnight RV camping, near the teepees. Nothing really great about this other than a convenient distance for us. Trains were a big negative, but location was very quiet otherwise. Bathroom in a quonset hut with two unisex showers, two unisex toilets and a sauna. Low end construction: floor is a combination dirt, cement tiles and raised wood. Showers were very clean -- molded unibody. - OlderGoat

Do not even think about taking your RV here. It's terrible. Nothing but dirt in a run down, scary environment. We were quoted a rate of $45.00 but they only charged $40.00 and that's the most positive thing I can say. I reserved two days via email exchange with them and when we arrived we were told that we had been expected the day prior. After we signed up and paid an employee came in and barked at us asking if we had a reservation. (I double checked the email exchange and the mistake was not mine.) We were, after some confusion about where to put us, shown a site with full hookups across the street from the store and cafe and were among what looked like full timers with mostly run down trailers. There were no restrooms unless you count a shed with some toilets in it and no windows on it. I've never stayed in a place this awful in my life. Absolutely the worst experience of my several years RVing and snowbirding. Terrible Terrible Terrible. The store is well stocked, but though we were the only customers in the store we were not greeted or asked if we needed help. The cafe closed early on Sunday. No problem we went to Good Springs and had a wonderful lunch at the Pioneer Saloon. - Maraywil
May 2017 - $50.00
Odd place but very convenient to Mojave. Call ahead to verify rates. Other review says $25 - we got charged $50. In the middle of nowhere - buy gas and groceries before coming. Pull-through sites with some shade on south side of the road; back-in sites are behind hotel and trading post. Nice to be in an isolated, dark-sky, quiet (except for occasional trains) spot. - rvericksons
