First, the good. It's a beautiful park, for being near the city. Scrupulously maintained. Price is a tad high; we paid almost $300/week, including the $35 tax.

The bad: they have astroturf outside each site. Yes, it's very nice, looks great, nice to walk on, etc. However, they're (understandably) very concerned about dogs peeing on it. To accomodate the dogs, they have 3 nice dog runs, so each one is pretty close no matter where you are in the park. And that sounds fine. But it means that when my dog is outside she has to be in my lap or in her dog bed, with me constantly watching to be sure she doesn't get onto the astroturf and pee. The general manager came by and, politely, explained that she'd just seen Nikki pee, and why that harms the astroturf, and to please use the dog runs. So now I have to carefully monitor her to keep her off the astroturf. And if she whines a bit I have to decide whether she just wants to go sniff a bit, or if she has to go. So we walk to the dog run, she didn't have to go after all, and we go back to the coach and wait for the next time.

A better solution would be to have an area of the park redone with gravel instead of the astroturf for dog owners who don't want to keep their dogs restricted to a dog bed while outside, nor hassle with constant, sometimes fruitless, trips to the dog run. We were planning on staying two weeks, but we'll move on after the one week that we've already paid for.

Also, oddly enough, you cannot receive normal mail here. So if your grandchild wants to mail a mother's day card to grandma....nope...not at this park. Packages are ok, but not regular mail. The office clerk couldn't explain the logic; she suggested I talk to Management.

We won't be back. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

I have never given a 10 rating, but this park deserves it. Very very well maintained. Great staff from front office to those managing the grounds. Nice pool, jacuzzi, bbqs, propane, 3 great dog parks, quiet, well organised from time of arrival to your entire stay. Rules are enforced, dogs on leashes, etc. Have a 40 foot with toad and plenty of room. Great connections and sewer spot, and picnic tables. Mail forwarded without problems, had Fedex and UPS packages no problem. No clutter you see from long time residents. So much nearby. We will stay here again and again. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Walk about the nearby lake, Outlet Mall, Lake Tahoe, Donner Memorial, Reno, Virginia City, Carson City, so much more.

We've stayed here often and keep coming back. Staff is very friendly and helpful, park is very clean. I'm not a big fan of artificial turf and concrete but it sure keeps things well maintained and neat looking. We enjoy parking and running off in all directions and this is a good place to do that. Because the staff keeps an eye on things, you don't have pets off leash or garbage piling up anywhere. We enjoy our stays here. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park is a well run business. Paved interior road, concrete parking pads, astroturf patio section with picnic table. Toad or tow vehicle parking spot is a bit odd as a painted section at the right rear of most sites. Be careful not to run over the neighbor's sewer hookup as it is in your parking space. With a vehicle parked in that space, the site is actually a bit tight. Other utilities are in the right place and worked well. WIFI worked well and the cable TV was adequate. Each space has a small tree which provides virtually no shade and can serve only to obstruct satellite access unless you park carefully . Park is cleaned and maintained meticulously. Rate is based on a month's stay. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Highlights: Incline Village area and South Lake Tahoe, Harrah Automobile Museum, Sparks Marina.

As detailed in previous reviews this park is extremely clean and well run. The sites are all cookie cutter same both pull through and backin. If you are over 45' in length then you will have to disconnect since all sites are short and not very wide. There is no grass only "Astroturf" and small useless trees between the concrete pads. The utilities are placed in the rear quarter of the site so long hoses may be needed. The cable is 48 grainy SD channels and the WIFI is very very slooow most of the time. However the site cost is reasonable @ $31.50 with GS discount. All in all not a bad value for what you get. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed there for the past three years while on our way to the Oregon Coast. Possibly one of the best parks we have come across. This year it was under new management which was nice but frankly the old management was just as good. We would highly recommend it to anyone. Entrance and exit to the park is very easy. It is quiet and Clean. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

The staff is excellent and they have someone escort you to your site. We had a back-in and our trailer barely fit and the truck had to stay parked out in the road. The sites are somewhat sterile with concrete pads and astro-turf (you don't get that camping feeling), but on the positive side if it is bad weather the inside of your RV won't get too nasty. Your hookups are next to your neighbors picnic table. We would probably stay here again. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The area is great, drive down to Lake Tahoe or go visit Harrah's Car Museum, we enjoyed both. Also make sure to go to Scheels Sporting Goods store it's a destination in itself.

Great location with easy access to Sparks & Reno. Grounds are quiet at night with minimal adjacent road noise. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating when we asked to extend our stay. Gym, bathrooms, laundry facility, showers and then entire grounds are meticulously clean. Great facility. Look forward to coming back. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

I am a travel nurse, and have been staying at Sparks Marina RV Park since the end of September. This park is wonderfully clean, safe, and friendly. Yes, there are rules which are enforced, but they serve to keep this park a place where I don't worry about locking everything up or am reluctant to bring friends here. Landscaping is lovely--even the three dog areas are landscaped!--and the fall colors of the maple trees were gorgeous. Bathrooms and pool area were the cleanest and best kept that I have ever seen, even when the park was full. Yes, there are maintenance men driving around in golf carts who will say something if you let your dogs pee on the trees, etc. but as a single woman traveling, I feel incredibly safe knowing that these folks know what is going on in their park. When my cat got out and was lost, the golf cart brigade found him for me under another camper within fifteen minutes. When my dog walker bailed on me, the manager walked my dog for me that night (I was on night shift) and then connected me with a wonderful long-term resident in the park who turned out to be the best dog walker ever! The dog areas are pea gravel, are stocked with bags and a scooper/rake, and are raked and sanitized frequently by staff. Rigs here range from new Prevosts to small, well-kept 1990s travel trailers. Whether you're passing through or staying long-term, I highly recommend this park. Price reflects monthly rate, which also includes electricity. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots of shopping and movie theater very close. Lovely city park around pond (hence the "marina") with a fun dog park within walking distance. Car/RV wash and cheap gas also very close by.

A great park, clean and neat as a whistle. We had a back-in site while backed to an open field, and RVs were spread out when there was space available. Excellent facilities and utilities. Asphalt roads and pads. Quiet park, but reasonable close to shopping and the freeways. Staff was constantly cleaning, emptying trash cans, etc. Located in an area of apartments and condos, near the lake, all walkable. Would definitely return. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Easy walk to marina and lake.

The office people at check in were very friendly and we were escorted to our site. This is a very nice park, very clean with fake grass and a nice picnic table at each site. The sites are concrete and very level. The pool area is also very nice and clean. The trees have grown a lot since we first stayed here, so it is getting shadier! We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to a nice park with a large pond. Great for a walk or bike ride.

The dog runs are coarse sand with large rocks snd plants...good except they need more to accommodate the number of dogs in the park. The sites could be wider, nicer if they had some longer for those pulling trailers (they do allow them to stick out into the road). Sites very clean. Note that the pretty green between sites is artificial turf snd dogs are off limits! We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was my favorite park out of the dozens we stayed at going cross country. Really good sites, facilities, infrastructure, cleanliness and location. I could live here. LOL. Full clubhouse with Big screens, pool tables, comfortable chairs, pool with separate hot tub. Walk to shopping outlet mall, Target, restarants and the nicest IMaX theater you've ever seen including the powered LazyBoy recliners. Sparks/Reno are great towns to explore and shop in...and of course have some nice casinos too. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

In & Out BURGER in town. Yummy.
Senior discount Sunday Matinee at the Imax theater.
Heading to or from California to here...be sure to stop at the new Donner Pass Visitors center for a bit of history.

+ 8 paved sites are wide, level, green grass strip between, trash cans all along the interior roads, all well-kept.
- 2 wi-fi would not connect [so I used mi-fi], the elec was low, and after dark until 11:30 sounds like dirt bike races could be heard
We would definitely stay again. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.
