Wowie! Beautiful, well designed, well located, neat and clean. While sites are a little close together, there is plenty of room for slides. Just enough room for the TOAD, and TOADS at some sites stuck out in the road just a bit, but didn't pose a problem. Interior roads are asphalt, parking pads are concrete, and outdoor space is beautiful, sturdy fake grass. Looks and feels wonderful. Clean grated picnic tables at each site, and room for lawn chairs, etc. Restrooms/showers could not be better appointed, including some of the best handicap facilities I've seen in an RV park. Pool and spa weren't open while we were here, but looked great, as did the communal fire pit and barbecue/picnic area. Well located to I-80, easy in and out. Good utilities. Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and strong. We were very happy here and extended our stay. We'll be back for sure. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

This has to be the cleanest park we have ever stayed in. The employees are out cleaning a site almost as soon as someone leaves. There are no weeds left untouched and garbage is never an issue. The dog runs are awesome and very clean. They are actually raked at least once a day if not more. They spray something to keep smells down as well. Almost like a "doggy resort". The only issue we found was the laundry room is a bit snug when busy, but always very clean. We will stay here again if in the area for sure. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice and clean park. Easy access roads, spotless sites with outdoor carpet making the site very easy to keep clean. Very clean large dog park nearby with interesting decorations made it one of our favorites. Although we weren't a big fan of Reno, we loved this park and would definitively stay there again if we were in the area. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great location, great service, great value. We had originally thought to stay two nights but stayed for four. Super clean. There were some long term residents but they kept everything spotless. Hubby enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Wi Fi worked well and cable TV was perfect. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Paved sites. AstroTurf. Picnic tables. Big rig friendly. It just felt to me like camping in a parking lot. Did use and enjoy pool and fitness equipment although only the treadmill worked. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our favorite place to stay on our frequent trips east. Always clean, always a courteous staff and the pool and spa are wonderful. Convenient utilities, nice level pad and the Astro turf makes a clean yard patio area. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

If you want nice this is it. If you aren't familiar with the area and you thought you wanted to stay in Reno, no worries. The park is close to 80 and downtown Reno is 15 mins away. The sites are all paved and level. Artificial turf is around the site. It is great ,so clean and feels like carpet. WiFi is the best we have had in any park. Trees and picnic tables at each site too. No wood fires. Laundry has an oversized machine for comforters and the machines are new. This is a popular spot so reservations are suggested. During special events like Hot August Nights it is impossible and expensive! We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our travels have placed us in a few very nice RV Parks but this by far is the best: very level concrete sites; all paved streets; full activity club house and BBQ area; swimming pool. I could go on and on. You will not be disappointed with a stay at this RV stop. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Trip to Virginia City, NV. It did not take all day. McCarran Blvd is a loop around Reno & Sparks. Interesting ride. Lots of parks and things to do for a relaxing time. The Marina next to Sparks Marina RV is a relaxing visit.

This is the IMHO the ideal suburban RV park. Close to interstates and main highways but well removed from the noise. Immaculate grounds that are flawless and spotless, flat as a pool table, wide paved roads to concrete pads and predominantly pull through sites. Artificial grass between sites gave it a welcome splash of color but was neat and clean. Spacing of the sites was more than adequate. It is designed for rigs of all sizes but mainly big rigs. It is setup to cater to adult campers with no "play grounds" that we saw. The entrance is first class as is the entire staff in the office and out in the park. I would be here all the time if it weren't 3,000 miles from home! We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Ideally located adjacent to Reno, WalMart, all sorts of restaurants, convenient to I-80 for travel to Lake Tahoe, Virginia City, Carson City, etc. They operate a well stocked camp store. For the price charged, it is perhaps the best value we have enjoyed in 6+ weeks on the road.

Pros:

The park was well-maintained and filled with gorgeous RVs.

Having a hot dog vendor on site one day was a nice touch.

Staff was very nice and helpful.

Sites were plenty big. Restrooms were huge.

Cons:

The dog area smelled bad. The reason is that dogs aren't allowed to pee anyplace but the dog area, even though there are lots of bushes at the end of each row and around the entire park perimeter. It's a strange setup and not very pet-friendly. Dogs are supposed to be on leash even in the dog area, although many people didn't abide by that.

I would have preferred real grass instead of astroturf in each site.

Our site backed up to a noisy self-serve truck wash that was open all night. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Reservations HIGHLY recommended if coming for Street Vibrations in September...they were fully booked. I reserved a few months in advance and was able to get a pull-thru. Paved, level sites with astroturf and a picnic table. Restrooms were clean. Laundry facility had plenty of machines. Wifi connected easy, but speed was questionable when the park was full. You can get an Uber into downtown Reno for about $12. I stayed for 10 days in September/October...rate reflects one week and a few extra days. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is nice. The staff is rude and the owner is an arrogant jerk. He informed several of us that his park has made more money than it ever has and he didn't care about our issues. Wow! If you want nice this is it~Modern RV Park. We camp in a "Tear Drop" style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table & set up our dining fly for sun/ weather protection so we rely on condition of campgrounds facilities being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. We did get close to restroom/shower roomy very clean and modern w/full on tiled walls and floors w/secure private stalls and changing area. Lots of hooks for stuff, padded bench folds against wall in changing area. Good water pressure and hot. Only wish for a small shelf for stuff and rubber floors mats as you step out of shower. Need hooks and shelves in sink/vanity area. High ratings well deserved for modern restrooms & facilities, paved roadways, and all level paved sites which do not crowd your neighbor. Large pull through spaces, nice LEVEL picnic table with metal plate on 1 end for camp stove - did not like Astro turf could not set up out dining fly over table. Sewer connect w/concrete surround encroaches neighbor site Definitely a Big Rig park, but ok for little rig overnight stay and not suitable for tents . We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

My husband & I have stayed here for years to participate in Hot August Nights....a HUGE event in the Reno/Sparks area each year. Beautiful facilities, small trees, 3 dog areas for dogs to socialize (not run), nice pool, nice club house, across the street from large shopping The Legends.

In the past the mgmt has been very open friendly & helpful. During the past year, the mgmt. team changed. They have instituted new rules. My husband went down to find out why the registration and reservation process changed (can no longer reserve the same space from year to year, must pay in full 11 months in advance, nonrefundable). I went down to find out about the hourly charge if you didn't leave your space promptly at 11am. We drive our classic car in the parade on checkout day. We must line up at 5 am, parade starts at 10, we finish at noon, return and pull out by 12:30 -1pm. Nope, I was told that this mgmt is a business and does NOT cater to the Hot August Nights event. I was yelled at by the female mgr. Both my husband and I are SHOCKED at the rigid, non customer oriented nature of the mgmt. We were made to feel unwelcome. It is with a heavy heart that we will not stay here again. I believe many of the HAN people will also re evaluate whether they will stay here. Its too bad, the park is the best in the area, but wouldn't you know, people ruin it every time. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here since the 2nd year the park opened. Same park owners, we were told, but new management this year. We come during Hot August Nights and my son also comes. We have had sites side by side for 7 years. This year they split us up by over a city block long distance. We asked why and they said something about a long term camper. They made no attempt to get us together and told us if we didn't like it don't come back. After talking to the arrogant park manager that was extremely rude we felt even worse. I believe the manager and staff are not too smart and no idea how run a RV park. We will never be back. The sites have AstroTurf at all sites. Your sewer connector is in your neighbor's area. Bad design. Power is good. WiFi terrible when park is full. Water pressure high, so you need a regulator. Pool is nice and clean and open until midnight, which is nice in summer. Jacuzzi is nice but don't use jets unless you want water splashed up behind your back. 3 dinky dog runs spread way apart. Very convenient area too bad it is run poorly now. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.
