We have stayed here since the 2nd year the park opened. Same park owners, we were told, but new management this year. We come during Hot August Nights and my son also comes. We have had sites side by side for 7 years. This year they split us up by over a city block long distance. We asked why and they said something about a long term camper. They made no attempt to get us together and told us if we didn't like it don't come back. After talking to the arrogant park manager that was extremely rude we felt even worse. I believe the manager and staff are not too smart and no idea how run a RV park. We will never be back. The sites have AstroTurf at all sites. Your sewer connector is in your neighbor's area. Bad design. Power is good. WiFi terrible when park is full. Water pressure high, so you need a regulator. Pool is nice and clean and open until midnight, which is nice in summer. Jacuzzi is nice but don't use jets unless you want water splashed up behind your back. 3 dinky dog runs spread way apart. Very convenient area too bad it is run poorly now. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Expensive because unfortunately we hit town during Hot August Nights. It was cool to see classic cars, though! We enjoyed our stay at Sparks Marina RV!! The restrooms & showers are spotless, hosts friendly & helpful, adequate space between RVs, & there are restaurants within walking distance! The location is across from a lovely lake, & we had a quiet night. This place set the bar for anywhere else we stay in the future!! We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here several times and the service has always been excellent. The park is very clean and neat. The sites are well laid out with a picnic table, a concrete pad and all the utilities function well. The WiFi worked well except during peak usage periods. The roads are paved and wide. The sites have artificial turf and are not pet friendly. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a lovely campground, clean and, interestingly, instead of grass had an AstroTurf area between each site. Interior roads were very wide. The signage was excellent until on Lincoln Drive when my GPS "suggested" a different route. One additional sign might be helpful. Despite the high price, I would not hesitate to stay there again if in the Reno area. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wow! We cannot believe the difference during Hot August Nights this year compared to previous years. The Show-n-Shine was more a friendly car show than a competitive show, and the full buffet breakfast on Friday was free (and delicious)! Staff was very friendly and from the folks we talked with, people were having a blast.

Reservations for next year are more inclusive so that people that couldn't get in due to preferential treatment, now can. I don't mind calling in a few days to secure my site for next year! Wi-Fi was adequate, but I hear they're planning some upgrades.

As always, the park was very clean. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

They could easily tack "resort" onto their name and it would be very appropriate. It was easy to find using Lat/Lon on the GPS. They have a porte cohere with two lanes for check-in. The check-in staff is friendly and efficient and you are led to your site by other staff members. All roads are asphalt and the sites are concrete. There is artificial grass between every sight that actually looks like real grass and at least one tree between each site. The sites are long enough to accommodate a 45' rig, and there is a parking space next to the site for your towed vehicle. There are many staff members who patrol the park in golf carts providing security, cleaning and assistance to guests as needed. There are three bath houses with restrooms and three pet areas with doggie bags. Our neighbor told us the club house has facilities for guests to cook meals and all they ask is that the guest cleans up after themselves. There is a store in the club house as well. There is no shortage of shopping within 1 mile of the park, and of course, casinos everywhere. This is one of the nicest parks we've stayed in and would definitely return. We were here over the 4th of July weekend and the park was full, but there is so much to do in the area it didn't seem crowded. One note - the initial description of this park states there are 383 sites. While there is a site numbered 383, they have a very interesting numbering scheme and there are actually only 200 sites. I'd also recommend accessing the park by getting off I-80 at McCarran rather than Sparks Avenue as the Sparks Avenue route will take you through two traffic circles with traffic joining from four directions. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Many nice casinos, great shopping, great dining. Recommend a Google search of best restaurants in Reno. Reno is the home of a minor league baseball team and well worth the time to enjoy a game if they are playing a home game.

This park has its pluses & minuses.

On the plus side: Extremely clean grounds, restrooms & "dog parks." Convenient to the freeway, shopping & entertainment. Check in is easy and quick. Staff shows you to your site and helps you park.

On the minus side: WiFi is sketchy. The "dog park" is really a small toilet area where dogs go to relieve themselves, not to play or socialize. No real grass anywhere. Each space has a patch of AstroTurf lawn. The planted areas are scrubs and gravel. Staff is a little too "big brother." If your dog pees on a bush while walking to the dog area, you'll hear about it. If you drive more than 5 mph, you'll get a talking to. If your kids play too hard, they'll be chastised. If your guest parks in an empty spot for even a few minutes, you'll get a phone call telling you to move.

So, if you want clean facilities, don't mind fake grass and lots of asphalt and if you don't mind following every small rule to the tee, and being watched constantly, this is your place. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

So far this is up there on my list as being a great resort! Clean. A plus in my book. Check in was easy and fast. They escort you to your site and assist you to where the hook ups are. Wifi worked great and cable has plenty of channels. Site clean and yes its turf between sites which makes it look pretty. No I don't have any dogs but there is a dog run area. Love the idea of the picnic table. Has a area designated for your grill that's steel so we (Campers) don't mess up the table. The pool and spa is open till 12! Love that, after going into Reno to gambling!

We had a pull thru site which was long enough for the tow to stay attached to the coach and a space for the car.

Water pressure is good as well. They have security all night long which is great.

If you are traveling to the west coast or traveling to the east, this is a must stop. Not to far from Downtown Reno about 8 miles. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Exceptionally clean park, escort to site, friendly staff. FHU 50 amp back in site, WIFI was excellent. All facilities, i.e. laundromat, rest rooms, pool, etc. were very well maintained. Highly recommend this park. Even the picnic tables have a portion fitted with a metal shield so that you can put your BBQ grill on it. Booked 3 nights, stayed for 5. We would return in the future. Caution, this area often gets high wind gusts so we would not recommend that you leave your awning unattended particularly in the afternoon. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

I'm rating this a bit lower, not my kind of park I suppose. Sites were very close to each other. Sewer hookup in adjoining site at front of parking space for your tow vehicle or towed vehicle. If you pull up to be out of driveway it sits below your front bumper. Resort type setup. Office well staffed and friendly. All amenities available and convenient. Shopping nearby. I was just disappointed with how close sites are to each other. And price. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Loved everything about this park. Only downfall was the we were only here 2 nights as we were traveling thru to Zion and we wished we would have had more time. We will be coming back for a longer stay. This park was very close to the Sparks Marina, Bike Path, Shopping, Casinos, Outlet Shopping and Sparks Water Park. Best RV park that I've stayed at! Fabulous! Very clean. Resort-like. Pool and spa beautiful. (Except for they apparently allow smoking by pool? Is it a Nevada thing? Shouldn't happen. No one wants to be by that. Especially our kids.) Doggie park is very clean. They have a treadmill! Runners can sneak in a run mid-travel. Clubhouse is very nice. Friendly desk people. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice pull through. Plastic grass, which we like so our airstream doesn't get wet by sprinklers. Clean showers: free. Large laundry room. Good location with street signs directing to resort. Hosts direct you to your spot with a golf cart. Didn't use the hot tub or pool. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice park. It is conveniently located off I80 with easy access. Sites are pull thru or back in with full services, including cable and wi-fi. The laundry facilities are spotless as is the small pool & hot tub. We hosted an RV rally here on a previous visit and the clubhouse and kitchen area are also very nice. They also have a series of gas bbq's that are available for visitors to use. Garbage cans are scattered around the park and there is also recycling!

As others have noted each site contains a yard of astro-turf. We do not currently travel with a pet so do not have the concerns about this that others do. Our only issue is the location of the trees that are planted at each site. This are towards the front and since this is where our roof mounted satellite dish it they prevent us from getting a signal through DirecTV. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.
