Nice campground on the edge of town, next to Casino and truck stop. A lot of permanents, scenic area close to Reno. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Travel Trailer.

Nice RV park with reasonable spacing between sites and grass in between. In my view this may possibly be the best RV Park in the Reno/Sparks area unless you are looking for full scale casinos which Gold Ranch doesn't offer. It is clean and attractive and secure at a reasonable price.

We had a pull through that was plenty long for our motor home and toad without needing to disconnect. Only suggestion that I have for this park (and others) is that the hookups be better placed for motor homes and not cater to only the 5th wheelers. The butt of my toad was practically off of the pad so that my electric cord could reach the post in the center-rear. This also put my sewer, water & elec cabin even with my neighbor's door. In other words, a more forward post would be better (and no, I am not buying a 50amp extension cord to fix this.) Despite this I am still giving this place a 9 and it is great for a night or two and a stopover. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Motorhome.

A good, convenient park approximately 10 miles from downtown Reno. Easy access from interstate 80. Parking pad asphalt with grass lawn. They water the grass frequently so it was green in the high desert country. Nighttime security patrolled frequently. Fairly quiet park even though close to the interstate. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Motorhome.

We were unable to level our motorhome in our site. Since we were only here one night, we lived with it off level from side to side. Access is a bit difficult. Follow the signs and directions from the Park website. There is grass at each site and the park is well maintained. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Motorhome.

The restaurant at the Casino is very good and a welcome break after a long day on the road. You get a discount coupon when you check in for the restaurant and coffee shop.

We have stayed here a few times. It is out of town but an easy drive to downtown Reno Casino's . The park is nothing special with no special activities in the park. However it is associated with a Casino which has a nice Restaurant, Gas Station, Jack in the Box fast food and a convenient store. The park sits on the Nevada, California state line. You can walk from one camp site to another and cross state lines. On the California side(which is only a few feet) there is a shop selling Lottery Tickets. The park has full hookup service and 50 amp. The park is in a great location if you are wanting to visit some old western towns and include some history (Donner Pass) We camp here in a 40 ft Class "A" Motor Home. Absolutely no problems. We well stay again when in the area. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Motorhome.

Beautiful grassy site. Friendly office staff. Paved roads in the park. Great first impression. Friendly people in the park. Unfortunately the showers and bathrooms were quite dirty late in the afternoon. Dryers took an hour and a half. There seem to be quite a few permanent people in the park which is ok, but some have definitely bent the rules. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent one night in this park on our way to another destination, and did not unhitch. The park is close to the interstate, but we did not hear any traffic noise. The sites are paved, and each one has a grassy area and shade tree. The park is very clean and tidy, and the view of the surrounding hills is beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. Beautiful campgrounds in the Sierra Mountains near Reno. Big Rig paradise. Paved extra long, extra wide sites with lots of trees, grass and the view is the best. The park is well layed out so easy in and out with the bigger rigs and tows. Wifi work well. No freeway noise. Services next to the campground. Office staff was pleasant, helpful and friendly. Easy to find campground off I-80 exit at the Gold Ranch Casino just before the California state line. Toilets and showers were clean. Good amenities and atmosphere: Grassy sites and hiking trails up into the hills. Lot spacing was spacious with some shade. Site surface was grass. This is a very nice park on a hillside with some shade and very nice views. Weekend traffic is not too bad. Has a nice pool and spa. Sites are paved and fairly level with pull- thru and back-ins.

Casino is smoky but slots are fairly loose. Great breakfast food. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Fifth Wheel.

We live in Lake Tahoe and use this for staging a trip when heading east. Nice pull-throughs, lots of grass and generally a good feeling park. Close to gaming and restaurant. Have a deal on breakfast.

As said before, its a safe place where they actually patrol the grounds, especially for Burning Man and other events where people try to sneak in to get water, use the services. They are polite and observant. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Motorhome.

Rate is based on 28 day stay. Check in was very easy and quick. Nice view of the surrounding mountains. There is a grassy area between sites, you don't feel crowded at all. Roads and parking pads are paved and reasonably level.

Casino and restaurants are about 50 yards from park entrance. The restaurant is not that good. There is Jackin the Box also. I would stay. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Motorhome.

This park had paved streets with grass and gravel sites. The utilities were good, the office staff was pleasant and helpful. The park was very clean and well maintained. There is some traffic noise from I-80 and the trains on the other side of the highway. There is also a security car that patrols the property. Tips for other Campers:

Lots to do in Reno and Sparks. Do take the trip around Lake Tahoe and visit Squaw Valley, home of the 1960 Winter Olympics. (-80 W to 89.) If your heart is up to it, take 341 back. Some great views but lots of white knuckles and brakes.

Without a doubt, by far the best RV park in the Reno/Sparks area! Great view, amenities, level sites, etc. I can not imagine why anyone would drive into Reno or Sparks and stay in the noise, congestion, crime, grime and traffic! Were just passing through, but stayed a couple of extra days just to enjoy the park. Good job! Just enjoy the view and relax!
