Very nice park the first time we've ever stayed here. I've passed this park up going out of Reno so many times this time I thought we'd spend a week there just to see what it was like and we were pleasantly surprised. The rate we paid was for a weekly rate. I like this park because it has a nice view of the surrounding mountains the traffic noise from I 80 does not seem to be a problem. It's close enough to Reno if you want to go into Reno not a problem. The restaurant out front has decent food and is very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again. Nice campground behind the small casino. Friendly staff. Wi-Fi not working well but waiting to be fixed. Good food deals at the restaurant at the casino. Short distance to Reno. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is easy to get to and to maneuver through. Interior roads and sites are paved though our site was sloped from side to side with the need for two blocks to level. Space between sites is fairly generous, consisting of a grassy area and a gravel area with picnic table and sometimes a tree. Grounds and facilities are neatly kept; laundry, restrooms, lounge and pool were neat and clean. Utilities worked very well and AT&T voice and data signals were strong in the area. We stayed here two months and nightly rate reflects 28-day months. We agree with what others have said about the park and believe it is the nicest in the Reno area, especially the views. The Wi-Fi has now been fixed and it is smokin' fast and reliable. Security cruises around often. Freeway and train noise was tolerable. Great deals at the casino cafe. Seems there is always something going on in the Reno area. We would stay here again and made reservations for next year. Other than site quite unlevel side to side, the RV park was ok to pretty good. Just not impressed with the rest of the facilities; the restaurant and the common areas. Did not use the restrooms. Would probably look elsewhere if we needed another overnight in the area. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Fifth Wheel.

Well kept park. We use it regularly as a one night 'getaway'. Only downside is the proximity of Interstate and railroad but neither are obnoxiously loud. If you need total silence, go elsewhere. Casino, restaurant, and convenience store in walking distance. Shaded sites available. Grass is green because of nightly sprinkling. Be careful of leaving things out as they can get wet. Nice place. First off the location and scenery are wonderful. Easy on and off the freeway (I-80). Lots of space to walk. The laundry area wasn't too bad. The showers and restroom combos could definitely use some scrubbing and renovations. I wouldn't take a shower in any of them. There was no soap in the wash sink after using the toilet. Yuck. What do the employees use? Double yuck! Good enough for an overnight stay. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice place! We fell into site 98, very nice, couple of shade trees. Good sites- some dips... good power, They say Wi-Fi, it shows up...but you can't connect. Very small warm pool, with hardly any shade. If in the Reno area, stay here. We will. Our rig is 40' long, plus toad. I'd love to give this park at 10, because up until the time that they started to switch the Wi-Fi to another service I had absolutely nothing to complain about. However, as the Wi-Fi was essentially unusable the last three days we were there, I have to downgrade to a 9 (I do wish I could give them a 9 1/2, though). Other than that, the park is perfect. Paved sites, gravel patio, pretty level, adequate length for pull-throughs. Lots of grass and some trees. Clean warm pool and nice HOT spa open til 10 p.m. A short walk to the casino, which has a Jack in the Box and a restaurant. There are wonderful hikes out the back of the park and the views were to die for. Very friendly and helpful personnel in office, unless you were inquiring about the Wi-Fi and then they were clueless as to when it would be working well again. Adequate laundry room, but the dryers weren't very effective. The bathrooms/showers are private rooms. There is a Sinclair service station on site that had what seemed to be the lowest diesel prices in the area. Easy off and on to I-80, but minimal noise from the highway. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Fifth Wheel.

Posted is Good Sam rate. We've stayed at this park about 6 times over last 3 years. I really believe the park is overrated. The sites are not level. Sewer is at the very rear of the sites. Utilities are good. The park Wi-Fi has never worked at our sites on our stays (they do have Wi-Fi in the office). The only reason we stay here is it's the only half decent park in this area. We drove by a nice looking park in Sparks across town and it looks like a nice alternative. Just saying that when reviewing this park don't come here and expect 8 or 9 level performance. Nice resort next to the casino, long pull-throughs, real pretty scenery around resort, lots of space between sites. The only thing not so good is some road noise from Highway 80 nearby and the people at the check-in desk were grumpy and seemed flustered and not happy with their job. But overall a nice resort and we would come back We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Fifth Wheel.

This one of the nicest RV parks we have stayed in in the Reno area. We stayed here last year with a good experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. The spaces are long and paved , each with both grass and gravel areas with a picnic table. The interior streets are wide and maneuvering is easy. There is a nice view of the surrounding mountains, especially in the sites along the along the perimeter furthest from the office. Going west on I-80 exit 2 has a short ramp but exiting traffic has the right of way, cross traffic has stop signs. You can either go straight ahead into the casino parking lot or turn left and take the park entrance road. Last year both the park WiFi and the Verizon MiFi worked well. This year the park WiFi never worked and Verizon was spotty. The park system was down the entire week we stayed. Overall this is a very nice park. There is a little road noise from the interstate and an occasional train whistle but otherwise the park is quiet. We will be back. Very happy with our decision to stay here. Sites are large and easy to get our 40 foot fifth wheel into. The desk is on winter hours so the desk is not manned a lot of the time. All off hour business is handled in the casino office. Slight road noise but not bad. We will stay here again when we head back to California. Very nice park, people, and pet friendly. Facility very clean and well maintained. Wide spaces. Our back in was 70 feet long. Extended our stay. Casino with a very good restaurant is just a short walk from the park. It is no longer owned by Terrible Herbst company. Will return here in the spring. I'm stretching to giving this park a 8 this time. We had to go to 4 sites to find one level enough to stay in. Some sites had big dips in the middle of the site. The staff said repairs were coming in Oct. 2013. Water at site would only dribble out and that was repaired by maintenance. Wi-Fi system is new and the antenna next to our site didn't work causing us to pick up off another tower which made it slow and weak. Staff was nice as usual. We've stayed here about 3 times and we'd probably come back as we have friends very close. Just one of those stays this time! Food was pretty good at the Casino restaurant.
