Rate is based on 28 day stay. Check in was very easy and quick. Nice view of the surrounding mountains. There is a grassy area between sites, you don't feel crowded at all. Roads and parking pads are paved and reasonably level.

Casino and restaurants are about 50 yards from park entrance. The restaurant is not that good. There is Jackin the Box also. I would stay. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Motorhome.

This park had paved streets with grass and gravel sites. The utilities were good, the office staff was pleasant and helpful. The park was very clean and well maintained. There is some traffic noise from I-80 and the trains on the other side of the highway. There is also a security car that patrols the property. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to do in Reno and Sparks. Do take the trip around Lake Tahoe and visit Squaw Valley, home of the 1960 Winter Olympics. (-80 W to 89.) If your heart is up to it, take 341 back. Some great views but lots of white knuckles and brakes.

Without a doubt, by far the best RV park in the Reno/Sparks area! Great view, amenities, level sites, etc. I can not imagine why anyone would drive into Reno or Sparks and stay in the noise, congestion, crime, grime and traffic! Were just passing through, but stayed a couple of extra days just to enjoy the park. Good job! Just enjoy the view and relax! We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Fifth Wheel.

Clean, well maintained, large pullthru's, pet friendly and casino on site if you do that sort of thing. The sites were all paved, not very level, but nothing that my levelers couldn't handle. Way better than staying in Reno. We stayed here going to and from Sacramento and would definitely stay here again. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The casino restaurant had good food, reasonably priced and fair service.

Easy Freeway access. Road and train noise was not a problem. Nice pool. Park was clean. Skip eating at the Casino's restaurant. The quality of the food and service is poor. We would stay here again. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Motorhome.

Great park, especially for a short stay. Really nice paved sites with great spacing. Restaurant in casino next door was very good. Only issue is the laundry room needs a good scrubbing. One machine had an "out of service" tag that looked like it'd been there a while. Would definitely stay again however. The sites themselves were far better than most! Very clean campground attached to the casino just before the California state line. Grass between sites and walking trails up into the hills behind the campground. We ate at the casino and it was good food at a reasonable price. Good place to get gas/diesel before you travel on. We would stay here again. Toilets and showers were clean. The staff was very friendly. This park is next to a small casino. Casinos aren't my thing but the park was great. They also give you a 2 for 1 coupon for their restaurant which was decent. Even though it is right off I-80, the noise isn't bad. The views of the mountains are beautiful. Lots of room to walk dogs on the trails. Verizon coverage is excellent. They also have park wi-fi which works better than any park I've stayed in. No fire pits at campsites is my only complaint. The sites are blacktop with for picnic table. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Fifth Wheel.

A really nice campground off to the side of a casino. Well spaced sites surrounded by grass and pine trees. Good asphalt access roads with asphalt sites. Most sites slope side to side (campground is on a slight slope) with some sites having front to back slope, but nothing that prevented leveling. Surprisingly quiet given the casino and I-80 in plain site. There was frequent train activity with horn blowing, but not very noticeable inside the coach with windows closed. Power very good (but campground was only 1/3rd full and no need for a/c at the time), water and sewer ok. Wifi was mostly pretty good for a campground - good signal strength and adequate speed with occasional crawls in the early evening (but campground was only 1/3rd full). Good Verizon cell strength. No recycling. We will definitely return when in the Reno / Lake Tahoe area. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Motorhome.

Very nice park the first time we've ever stayed here. I've passed this park up going out of Reno so many times this time I thought we'd spend a week there just to see what it was like and we were pleasantly surprised. The rate we paid was for a weekly rate. I like this park because it has a nice view of the surrounding mountains the traffic noise from I 80 does not seem to be a problem. It's close enough to Reno if you want to go into Reno not a problem. The restaurant out front has decent food and is very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again. We stayed here two months and nightly rate reflects 28-day months. We agree with what others have said about the park and believe it is the nicest in the Reno area, especially the views. The Wi-Fi has now been fixed and it is smokin' fast and reliable. Security cruises around often. Freeway and train noise was tolerable. Great deals at the casino cafe. Seems there is always something going on in the Reno area. We would stay here again and made reservations for next year. Nice campground behind the small casino. Friendly staff. Wi-Fi not working well but waiting to be fixed. Good food deals at the restaurant at the casino. Short distance to Reno. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is easy to get to and to maneuver through. Interior roads and sites are paved though our site was sloped from side to side with the need for two blocks to level. Space between sites is fairly generous, consisting of a grassy area and a gravel area with picnic table and sometimes a tree. Grounds and facilities are neatly kept; laundry, restrooms, lounge and pool were neat and clean. Utilities worked very well and AT&T voice and data signals were strong in the area. Other than site quite unlevel side to side, the RV park was ok to pretty good. Just not impressed with the rest of the facilities; the restaurant and the common areas. Did not use the restrooms. Would probably look elsewhere if we needed another overnight in the area. We camped at Gold Ranch Casino & RV Resort (formerly Terrible's Gold Ranch Casino & in a Fifth Wheel.

Well kept park. We use it regularly as a one night 'getaway'. Only downside is the proximity of Interstate and railroad but neither are obnoxiously loud. If you need total silence, go elsewhere. Casino, restaurant, and convenience store in walking distance. Shaded sites available. Grass is green because of nightly sprinkling. Be careful of leaving things out as they can get wet. Nice place.
