The 70' length of their paved pull through spaces make this place our preferred overnight when driving across Nevada. The spaces are relatively level which means no unhooking. Park, drop the stabilizers and we're set for the night. Having Wingers restaurant on site is also a plus. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We only stayed here overnight. It is conveniently located off of the freeway. Staff is friendly and the property is well maintained. Sites are level and easily accessed. We would surely return in the future. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A new clean and well kept RV park. We used PA so had a back in site. The site we were in (29) had three trees that already need trimming as we had to angle in to keep the limbs from scratching our MH or slides. I walked the park and found there are sites without so many trees so we will request one of those when we return. Paved streets and well packed gravel sites that are long with a spot for your toad or tow vehicle. There are nice grassy areas at the end of each row and the sites had no weeds that I could see. Nice views and far enough away from I-80 that the noise was minimal. Only heard the train whistle (on the other side of I-80) once during the night. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you have four slides be sure to request a site with few trees as they are planted too close to the pad.

One night stay but a very nice RV park. Very easy access, long pull-thru lots and nice, level sites. They had a dog park but it was gravel and I don't know many dogs who LOVE to run around on gravel! Other than that it was really nice for our needs. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a new RV park in Winnemucca that is very well thought out. It was a great overnight stop and the surrounding desert mountains were a nice surprise. It is an easy off and on to Interstate 80 but far enough away from the interstate that road noise was not a factor. Roads to the campground are very good and inside campground roads are paved and excellent. Sites are paved, long, and surprising wider than I expected. Plenty of room to put slide outs out and enjoy the picnic table and your chairs under a small tree. Excellent full hook ups with good WIFI and Cable TV. All worked as you would want. Check-in folks were nice, efficient and helpful. There is an on site restaurant that was good and plenty of others in town which also has groceries and plenty of other shopping. I would definately stop here again. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was our second visit to this park on our way to Reno. The park and facilities are as nice as when we first visited. The park is fairly new, might be 2 years old at this time, the interior roads are easy to negotiate; good size spots, very level, and clean bathrooms with large shower rooms with a bench. We were lucky to get "winter rates". This is not a destination campground, there are no amenities other than a big meeting room, however, it's a great stopover spot. We will definitely stay again. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy on and off freeway. Newer park and very tidy. The Wi-Fi needs to be improved as it hardly worked at all. Our site #25 only had the 30 amp working. The only other negative would be from the many miner and construction workers living in the modular units. They come and go at all hours with noisy trucks. If we were to be there more than one night, we would have asked to be moved further away from their neighborhood. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sitting here trying to think what I can say as a negative about this park. I can't think of one...unless it was a few patches of green grass needed on spots in the interior. This place is spotless, new asphalt roads and sites, nice hookups with sewer connect below site surface. If this isn't enough, the Winger Restaurant is directly behind the office and an easy walk for great food and "beverages". We had a wonderful meal there. The shade trees are not tall enough ...yet...to provide meaningful shade. If I could give this park a 12 I would. Quiet! No highway or road noise of any kind, and a panoramic view of the surrounding hills. Friendly staff! Will stay at New Frontier RV "resort" anytime we are within a hundred miles. The park is on the east end of the city with easy access from I-80. The roads are all paved. The Pull thru's are paved the back in's are gravel. There are more back-ins than pull thru's. The back-ins are angled making them easier. All the sites have nice spacing and are long with wih room. There are several small rental house's in some areas of the park. but not mixed with rv spots. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great RV park in a high desert area that is always a favorite of ours. This RV park had probably the best infrastructure of all of the ones that we stayed at this trip. There was solid, Power, water and cable TV as well as fairly solid Wi-Fi. We are concerned though that since there were very few rigs in the RV park on this date, the WIFI might be undersized when the park is fuller. This RV Park has a little fenced in dog yard to take your dogs for a run, but there is lot of open lots around the RV park where you can take your dogs to get up a real run if you want too. This RV park did not have any Breed restrictions so bringing our pack of pit bull mixes was not a problem for us. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Motorhome.

Newer park, several years old. Lots of sites, but they filled up at night. They also have rental units. Staff was very helpful. Site was level side to side. Good utilities. No shade, very young trees in each site. Very long pull-through. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for 2 nights headed east and then 3 nights headed west. Pull-thru sites are asphalt, level, and quite long. We are 35' long and towing and we had no problem pulling up to the utilities still hooked up. Access roads within the park are nice and wide for easy in and out. Utilities were easy to manage; water was good, plenty of electric even in 100 degree temps, and sewer connection was lower than the parking pad. Trees are young but placed so as not to interfere with satellite reception. Did not use the restrooms or showers, so cannot comment. Did peek into the laundry room which was clean and had at least 6 each washers and dryers. Staff was friendly and helpful. Large gravel dog run. Ate a chicken wing lunch at Wingers restaurant (delicious), and dropped a few dollars at the Roadhouse Casino. Yes, it gets windy in Winnemucca (welcome to Northern Nevada). But all, in all, this is a nice park. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Motorhome.

Newer park so small trees. We were in a 40' MH towing and had asked for a pull through. When we arrived we were given a back-in with the explanation that the pull-thru sites were all gone; therefore we had to unhook for the night. Then we walked around and discovered there were at least 2 empty pull-thru sites and another that had a small truck & pop-up camper which we thought was ridiculous when larger rigs needed sites like that. Staff was friendly but we were only stopping for a night so did not use facilities. Site was level. As an over night we would probably return. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Motorhome.
