The park was well maintained and operated. The site was roomy and Shaffer and overall we really liked the park. As with all provincial parks that we have been to, this was well run, quiet and enjoyable. No WiFi or tv and limited things to do here other than hiking. Site was very level. Overall we were pleased with our quick stay. We camped at Sugarloaf Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Beautiful park. Exceptionally friendly staff who speak English and French. Back-in site, gravel, level and very secluded. No wifi. No water at site, so fill up first at water station at park entrance. Dump station. Some pull-throughs but we did not use them. We camped at Sugarloaf Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The provincial parks of New Brunswick are well developed and maintained, and this one is no exception. The office staff were unusually helpful in answering questions and helping with subsequent reservations. The sites are densely treed and spacious, with plenty of room between sites. The rate shown reflects a senior discount (for residents over 65 from anywhere) and is for electric service only. Dry camping is $2 less. There are 8 sites with full hookups. The restrooms were immaculate and modern. The park is located at a ski area that is a popular downhill mountain bike facility in the warmer months; ride up the chairlift with your bike and have fun coming down. The campground is just down the road from a Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire, and other stores, and Campbellton is only 3 or 4 miles away. We'd stay here again, for sure. We camped at Sugarloaf Provincial Park in a Motorhome.
