I must comment on management, as they were nothing but professional and accommodating during our entire stay. We were very impressed by the activities for kids, adults, and even our dogs (a doggy beach). The salt water pool for adults was a great private get-a-away from the kids for a moment and was so relaxing. But the beach was fantastic... wow!!! The seasonal campers and fellow weekenders were all so friendly. My husband and I were really impressed and this made our long weekend so wonderful. We really have to thank management for fitting us in We had a great site and can't wait to go again next summer. We camped at Camping Plage Gagnon Beach in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Kids loved the jumping pillow. Great seafood restaurant close by.

I had booked and paid for this campground for one week this past July with my family. The campground is located up from a beach, but in order to get to it you need to go through a swampy area. We were camping down towards this swampy area and when the sun starts to go down the mosquitoes come out like I have never seen in my life. Also the coin operated showers although clean were automatically regulated to luke warm. We paid for the full seven but could only take it for 5 and when we asked for a refund we were told to look at the sign no refunds. We camped at Camping Plage Gagnon Beach in a Tent Trailer.

We chose this campground for the advertised 50 amp service. They have 50amp sockets with only one leg hot (30amp service). The interior roads are mostly good, with a few very rough spots. Sites are grass and the beach is beautiful. We were right next to the beach access and could see the Northumberland Strait and in the far distance Price Edward Island from our rig. Management is friendly and helpful. Very close to PEI and coastal attractions. Although we did not use them there is a charge for shower water. We camped at Camping Plage Gagnon Beach in a Motorhome.

This is our second stay here and we were delighted to return. They are right on a wonderful beach. There's even a "dog beach" on one side. The water is shallow and quite warm. This park has many little trailers that are occupied for the summer. But the park is clean, quiet, has good Wi-Fi and we used our Direct satellite. Great ice cream at the office but you don't want more than one scoop. We camped at Camping Plage Gagnon Beach in a Motorhome.

Came from Mass.-- long ride 12 hours, found campground easy, easy in and out. Staff was very friendly and campground very clean. Sites are close together but enough room to have a campfire without really bothering anyone. Wi-Fi was poor at our site but got it really slow. Close to ocean, about a 5 min. walk and beach was clean, pet friendly on the right side of the beach. Enjoyed our stay and would go back again. They had activities which were fun, flea market, guitar players and singing and moon walk for kids. Would give a higher rating but the sites are close together, the Wi-Fi was slow, and they had pay showers. Other than that it was a good Trip. We camped at Camping Plage Gagnon Beach in a Motorhome.

We stayed one night as a stopover to PEI. Level and within close walking distance of beach. Lots of tents the weekend night I was there, quiet, but there was a lot of wind and rain that night. Easy to get into and out of. I was a little too far away to get the WiFi, but I could get it when I went closer to the community center. No Cable TV. I think the satellite would work almost anywhere there. I would stay again. We camped at Camping Plage Gagnon Beach in a Motorhome.
