Rate is Canadian $. The park was acquired by Camping Colibri, the huge campground down the road, and is now called Camping Colibri sur Mer. It's still a bare-bones "provincial" park. While big-rig sites with full hookups are available, they're at the back of the park with no view. So we took Site 21 with (a strong) 30-amp/water service to get a spectacular water view and lots of room. Our site was level. Cell/data reception was excellent. We would definitely stay here again. - Mingo Papa

We liked this campground so much that we returned. It is very grassy and is right next to the bay. You can enjoy a lovely sunset from your site. The owner is very friendly, and the town is also great. You won't find much English spoken, but the people are very nice, and the lobster and crab are wonderful. The campground does not have very good wi-fi but there is a Tim Horton in town that has great coffee and wi-fi. The campground has well spaced spots. - Newbet

Park is situated on the shores of Chaleur Bay, with some direct waterfront sites. There is a cycling trail nearby, also within cycling distance of a great cheese shop. Our site was level enough not to unhook the truck, a bonus as we were only staying one night. Park was clean, staff was friendly and accommodating. Good Wi-Fi available at the office. We had an enjoyable stay and would come again. - D and M

This is a large campground with many different sites. Interior roads were all paved. We were given an escort to our site. We stayed at this campground for 2 nights. We were in an open field on site 256. We were placed among many seasonal campers. Our site was very tight in every direction. Our fire ring was 15 feet away from the people behind us and we could hear people in the site next to us while we were in our camper. The post was well positioned in the middle of the site. Power and water was sufficient and the sewer was easy to reach. The campground does have wifi, but it is very intermittent at best. Our site was near a camper who left his dog out and it barked all night long. I finally had to tell the person that people around did not appreciate the fact that his dog was barking while he was away. The campground was a buzzing all day as they were celebrating Acadia Day. This made for a very loud evening and it appeared that the staff did not make any attempts of quieting down the folks after quiet hours. - clw_man

Great family friendly campsite with a variety of sites (some full sun, some shady, some with direct river access, etc). We stayed in one of the deluxe river sites and loved it. Large sites with shade trees and direct access to the water. The campground has a restaurant and lots of activities for kids. - User3559

Large park with back-in and pull thru sites. Washrooms/showers centrally located. Check-in staff were bilingual.
We stayed only one night and did not use any park facilities.
Quite a few seasonal campers around the perimeter sites.
We would stay here again. - DCM/JMB
