1 Park near Hopewell Cape, New Brunswick
May 2016 - $25.00
We contacted the park via email the day before arrival & were advised that being very early in the season the CG was not fully open yet. Very limited site choice, bathrooms in the midst of a major rebuild, bigtime tree trimming underway. No problem for us. All we really needed was power as it was cold. Hence the very reasonable price.
The CG itself is very large & is laid out more like a state park CG than the typical carpark styled private CG. There are sites to accommodate everyone. One area has a bunch of secluded sites which lend themselves very well to tenters or pop ups.
There was good visibility of water surrounding the CG because it was early May & the waterside bushes had not grown leaves yet.
A good place to base when doing Fundy Nat Park & the Hopewell Rocks. - Veebyes

There are a wide range of reviews on this park, from good to poor. We found it a nice park with many different sizes of sites; some are too tight and too small for a big rig. It will be a stretch with some RVs to reach all utilities. We were in the meadow area near Ponderosa Lake overlooking the marsh and Shepody Bay in Site 136. It is a pull-in site and all utilities were well within reach for our 40' Class A. The campground is virtually empty, only a few campers this first week of October. Wifi was slow at times, but very workable. Grounds are clean and well-maintained. We did not use their restrooms or laundry facility. The host was very courteous and asked if we were Good Sam members. The pool is closed for the season; the park will remain open through October according to the host. Small book exchange in the office/store and also a nice selection of tourism information. Park is 1-2 kilometers to the west of the entrance to Hopewell Cape Rocks. Rate reflects US$ for 50amp/water/sewer. - DiplomatTraveler

This is too expensive for what you get. The 30 amp "view" lots are of a mosquito pond. Tiny toilets that need attention. This is a Good Sam Park with a bad customer attitude. Make sure you ask for the discount when registering. There are no Good Sam signs in the office. They have signs on their entrance fence near the road. After missing the signs first off and being a Good Sam member, I went in to ask about a refund for the 10% discount. Several excuses later and very begrudgingly they gave me the discount less a $2.00 "processing fee". Most parks ask "are you a Good Sam member" and have signs on their counter. Not this one. This is the only park close to Hopewell Rocks. IF another park opened up near here, I would suggest you stay there. - tge5200
