Big Big Rig friendly. The entrance road is steep thru a tunnel of trees. All of the trees were trimmed very high, the road is paved and easy to navigate. Played golf on the nine hole course. This is our second visit and definitely won't be our last. We camped at Stonehurst Golf Course & Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

I used this as a base to see one national park in Prince Edward Island (3 hours away) and two in New Brunswick (Koochibooquac and Fundy) as well as Moncton, Hopewell Rocks, and the Shediac Lobster. A good campsite with a little road noise but fine. Good bathrooms - shower stalls were a little small but in separate rooms which is nice. Plenty of hot water. Site had electricity. We camped at Stonehurst Golf Course & Trailer Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This large family-oriented, camp has lots of grass for kids to play plus the usual playground facilities. The pool has only limited hours (it closes 4:30-6 p.m., presumably for the dinner hour) and is surrounded by barbed wire. A golf course and driving range are on the edges of the property. Staff is very helpful and knows which sites are satellite friendly. Cost is converted to $US. Lots to do in nearby Moncton: don't miss seeing The Bore (a 3-6' wall of water rushing up the very top of the Bay of Fundy funnel) which announces tide changes. Best viewing is from downtown Bore Park. Arrive at least 15 minutes early; the actual Bore often varies from predicted arrivals. We camped at Stonehurst Golf Course & Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We stayed at Stonehurst three times in 2018 as multiple motorhome problems were fixed. Nearby Pine Acres RV had a skilled and diligent motorized vehicle service manager who solved problems that had service people at other shops baffled.

Our site was in a very large grassy field. There was nothing but a field in front of us. It probably felt more spacious than it actually was because it was so open in front. The golf course was just around the corner. It was great for walking the pups. I also walked them up to the main entrance road. We enjoyed the CG so much we stayed an extra day. We would return. We camped at Stonehurst Golf Course & Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

This park is well kept & like so many Canadian parks has many seasonal campers. There are many things to do In Moncton. The park has lots of families but it's very quiet. There is also a golf course on site. We camped at Stonehurst Golf Course & Trailer Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Go to downtown Moncton and watch the tide come in - really neat! We were only here one night, but looks like a great place to stay and explore.

Parked on grass, and did not really have a clear boundary between sites. The ground is relatively level. The sewer has a long white tube (something like 6 inches) coming out of the ground, which make the connection sort of weird. Both our neighbor and I wondered if it will work, but thankfully it did. Wifi not working well enough most of the day, but improves overnight. It must be because of the sheer amount of people trying to use it. Bathroom and showers were clean. We camped at Stonehurst Golf Course & Trailer Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed overnight in back in Site 96 50amp FHU. $ are Canadian. Site was good size, grass/gravel, level, had table, fire ring and was open allowing satellite. No cable. Roads are gravel and very dusty. WiFi OK. Nothing special but good place for over night stay. We camped at Stonehurst Golf Course & Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

This place advertises itself as a "family campground" and has lots of stuff for children: playground, pool, etc. For adults, there's a driving range and golf course. Sites goods-sized. Wifi was excellent. Easy drive into Moncton from the park. We camped at Stonehurst Golf Course & Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

Drinks and lobster dinners were very good but expensive ($C150 for two with tip) at Catch-22 restaurant in Moncton.

Rate is Canadian $. When we made reservations it was for 1 night on a Saturday and were told that they usually do not take 1 nighters over the weekend. But there was a cancelation so they were able to get us in. When we arrived the staff was extremely friendly. We had no problem getting into our back in grass site off of a gravel drive with our 39' motorhome. The park is just a little ways out of Moncton and the city center was easy to access. Verizon and DirecTV reception was good. Water pressure and voltage was adequate. Price was high for our needs since we did not use any of the amenities but it was a clean park and we had plenty of space. With the 50A service we were also able to use both air conditioners at the same time. We camped at Stonehurst Golf Course & Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here over the Canada Day weekend. It was our first time here. The campground is clean and quite and there is a golf course right here next to the campground, with a driving range. good place to walk, lots of spots for big rigs, easy to get around, lots of tenter spots as well. Staff was very friendly. Play grounds for kids, and you are just outside Moncton, probably a 10 minute drive away from shopping. The WIFI connection was very good. Great campground and we will be sure to stay here again. We camped at Stonehurst Golf Course & Trailer Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for two nights at the Passport America rate. The grounds are beautiful and there is an adjacent golf course (which we did not use). The WiFi at our site was excellent and free. The laundry room is clean and reasonably priced with lots of books to peruse. Several seasonal campers on the grounds. Access to Moncton with full facilities is 10-15 minutes away. Very quiet at night. We'll definitely come here again and would consider a longer stay. We camped at Stonehurst Golf Course & Trailer Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a well maintained family oriented campground with helpful and friendly staff at check in. Interior road is gravel. Our level site was grass, it was a reasonably spacious back in, and our site had water and electric 30 amp. Big rig access was marginal and it would have been difficult to get to the dump station from our site. Fairly quiet but no privacy between sites, space for our towed, picnic table and fire ring. There were a lot of seasonal sites, but they were kept clean and neat. Bathrooms were clean but dated and the laundry clean and well equipped. WiFI was poor and cell okay. Food stores and restaurants are about ten minutes away in Moncton. We would stay here again, the PA rate is a good deal. We camped at Stonehurst Golf Course & Trailer Park in a Motorhome.
