We had some difficulty when making our reservation. Phone number didn't work. It took several emails to get our reservation confirmed, but we did book via email several weeks before our stay. We called the day before arriving (number worked this time) and they didn't see our reservation but they thankfully still had a spot available. Site 12 faces the water, we loved the view of the changing tides. We camped at Kiwanis Oceanfront Camping in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The town of St Andrews is very quaint with lots of small shops and restaurants. Nearby is Ministers Island which is only accessible during low tide, it has trails and an old mansion to tour. We didnt have time but wish we would have visited Kingsbrae garden. St Johns was not worth the one hour drive, just an industrial town and the reversing falls were not as exciting as we had hoped for.

Nightly cost is a guesstimate. We stayed here as part of a caravan. A nice park directly across the street from the Bay of Fundy. A short walk into town, good hookups and level back in sites. We were parked back to back and fairly close on the sides. The placement of the utilities resulted in 4 coaches hooked to a single pole, yet everything worked great. Some rigs had a long reach with hoses and power cords. A stiff breeze from the bay precluded using the awning. We camped at Kiwanis Oceanfront Camping in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Kingsbrea Gardens are beautiful and a short distance from the campground. During low tide, you can drive across the ocean floor to Ministers Island and visit the estate of Sir William Van Horn. Just be sure to be off the island on time, as there are no accommodations to stay.

It is carpark camping with a great waterview if you spring for a waterfront site and pay the premium. We didn't, but got a water view anyway since we are so early in the season and the CG was virtually empty except for the seasonals, and very few of them were occupied.

Points were only lost for the very tight side to side sites and iffy WIFI. Hate to imagine what the WIFI is like when the CG is full and remote routers are blocked by campers and demand on use. We camped at Kiwanis Oceanfront Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very well maintained campground, with helpful staff at check in, they are a mine of information on anything to do with St Andrews. Interior road is paved. Our long and level ocean front site was gravel, sewer hook ups were on both sides, so we pulled right in and had a wonderful view of the ocean. Big rig access was good. Very quiet at night and some privacy around our RV, space for the towed, a picnic table and a fire ring. There were a lot of seasonal sites, but all were neat and tidy. Bathrooms were spacious and spotless, and the laundry was clean and well equipped. Pet friendly with doggie bags but no disposal stations. WiFi and cell were both good. St Andrews is a gem of a small town, it's a short walk into town from the campground, and has food stores, unique shops and restaurants. We would stay here again, it's the perfect place to sit and watch the water, fishing boats and sunsets. We camped at Kiwanis Oceanfront Camping in a Motorhome.

The campground that sits on a point overlooking the ocean. Sites are somewhat tight like a KOA. Had a full hookup site which was level with all the utility hookups at the rear of the site, requiring an extension for the sewer hose. Site surface was gravel and grass, hard packed. Note only 30 amp electric is available. Campground is less than a mile from the center of St. Andrews, a good walk or easy bike ride. We camped at Kiwanis Oceanfront Camping in a Motorhome.

Our rate reflects an ocean front site. Sites were narrow. Ocean front sites have sewer hookups on both sides as some campers (mostly motorhomes) prefer to drive in head first. WIFI was poor. No pool. Close walk into town (15 mins). Make sure you book a whale watching cruise! We would return to this campground. We camped at Kiwanis Oceanfront Camping in a Motorhome.

This a flat campground on beautiful oceanfront property near the town of St. Andrews. Sites are mostly grass and unshaded. The laundry and washrooms are among the best we've encountered but located some distance from some of the sites. Wi-Fi works best near the laundry room. We camped at Kiwanis Oceanfront Camping in a Travel Trailer.

Traveled straight here from Ontario without a reservation. Arrived after-office hours and sign on door indicated to find a spot and register in the morning, to our relief, as we just traveled 24 hrs in the rain. Sites are tight, but this is typical for every site in this area and Nova Scotia. Stayed at a full hook-up site for two nights with no problems. Kids had no problems with Wi-Fi access. Walk across the street to the waterfront, beautiful view, short walk to nice town. Bathrooms are very clean and modern. Grounds are well taken care of. Would definitely stay here again. Even saw deer on grass in residential area when arriving. Front desk was very helpful providing maps and directions to town. Must get the smoked salmon pate at local grocery store! We camped at Kiwanis Oceanfront Camping in a Travel Trailer.

We had an oceanfront site. All gravel and absolutely no privacy. Only a picnic table separating us from our neighbor. WiFi was terrible. Washrooms were located at the back of the park. Would stay here again because the town and the ocean view are worth putting up with the shortcomings of the RV park. We camped at Kiwanis Oceanfront Camping in a Motorhome.

We chose this campground based on the relatively good reviews and the availability of "oceanfront" sites. We made our reservations in May, however, upon arrival at the campground in July, they had absolutely no record of this. I was able to show them the emails between us, confirming our reservation, however, they indicated that they could not honour this. Although they appeared to have sites open the whole time we were there, they told us they were all booked. They did give us the choice of a few other non-oceanfront sites, and charged us for 2 nights instead of 4, which was appreciated. The main portion of the campground is really just open fields. It was fairly quiet while we were there, even on a Friday night. The restrooms were clean, however, the showers were extremely tight. The men's restrooms are in the process of being renovated, and the showers in that section were much bigger. We might return to this campground again if in the area, however, I will certainly confirm my reservations before I leave home!! We camped at Kiwanis Oceanfront Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a well run park on the beach within a few blocks of the Saint Andrews tourist area. We had an oceanfront site and were able to pull in forward so we could watch the Bay through our windshield. Sewer hookups are on both side of each site so that connections were easy to make. The roads are paved and the sites are gravel. The sites are narrow but are typical of what you find in such locations. The WiFi was decent, although it did fluctuate during the day. Cellular service on the Rogers network was good. Since we were right on the water there was no problem getting a satellite signal from any of the services. Watching the tide come in on Passamaquoddy Bay with sailboats going by in the background is addictive. We'll definitely be back. We camped at Kiwanis Oceanfront Camping in a Motorhome.

We really enjoyed this campground with an outstanding ocean view just feet away. Nothing like enjoying a campfire with the ocean right across the street! Not to mention the beautiful sunrises and sunsets viewable from the park. The quaint St. Andrews harbor is just up the street - easy walking distance to many shops and excellent restaurants. The street that runs between the ocean and the front of the park gets some traffic, but not too bad and it's quiet at night. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sites were close together - especially along the ocean - but long enough for our motorhome and car combined. The 30 amp power and water pressure were adequate, and we had sewer. Internet was extremely slow during the day. The bathrooms and showers were modern and beautiful - very clean. The laundry room consisted of 3 washers and 3 dryers, with a reasonably-sized folding table. Each site had a table and fire pit, with wood for sale at the office. Interior roads were paved, sites were gravel and level. There were some short walking paths around the park, with easy access to the ocean and road to the harbor. Our only nitpick was that the ocean sites were badly marked as to which side of the utilities to park on, depending on which end of the RV faces the ocean. This was a source of confusion for several campers, and even the camp host who put us in the wrong location! This issue created a lot of tight parking and needs to be fixed somehow. Otherwise, we loved this park and would definitely come back for a longer stay. We camped at Kiwanis Oceanfront Camping in a Motorhome.

Close walking distance to the town. WI-FI was excellent. Staff were friendly. Hook-ups were great. We would have given them a 10, but the sites were too close together. We camped at Kiwanis Oceanfront Camping in a Motorhome.
