We stayed at Notch View in the fall. It is located in a nice country setting and it was very quiet and only a few sites were occupied. The staff was great. The upper sites have a view but not the lower sites (which are most sites). All of the basics are here except no cable or WiFi. We got 1 bar on our ATT phone. There are a lot of seasonally occupied RVs present on the property. There is probably little privacy when the campground is occupied. We camped at Notch View Inn and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Colebrook is a great place to explore the northern White Mountains of NH and the Northeast Kingdom of VT. Very pretty. If you are in this area and you don't go to Mostly Muffins, you've deprived yourself of one of life's great joys. Wilderness Restaurant, on the other hand, is the opposite both in food and decor.

"Notches" in the local lingo are mountain passes and the camp has fine views of 5 of them. Dixville Notch, home of the first presidential vote reporting (the few residents gather at midnight to cast their ballots) is one of them. The park is ATV/snowmobile oriented, with trail connections on the grounds. Price reflects weekly rate. Wi-Fi is spotty; best near the office. This is the northern-most reviewed camp in New Hampshire. No satellite TV problems. The genial owner had local information and the Chamber of Commerce downtown (on the second floor of a bank building) had lots of maps and suggestions. We camped at Notch View Inn and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The surrounding area has many interesting day trips, to look for moose (none seen), find covered bridges, watch falls and foliage, etc. Beaver Brook Falls on the other side of Colebrook is a great place for a picnic lunch. The harvest festival in nearby Errol had lumberjack contests including log sawing with souped-up chain saws.

OK campground. No Wi-Fi, cable or antenna TV. Open sites close together. They pander to the ATV market. As we do not have an ATV, we just stayed one night and rode around the area. We camped at Notch View Inn and Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We do not travel with children or pets: therefore, I rated this campground a 10 because it had what we require. We enjoy a clean, quiet, scenic campground and this place delivered. The mountain views are beautiful. The park offers lots of green grass, level spacious sites with trees, and two small fish ponds. Children would be bored here. The days and nights were quiet. We did not use the rest rooms or laundry facilities and cannot comment. There was no Wi-Fi or cable TV but we can live without that for a few days. The owners are friendly and helpful. We will return when in the area. We camped at Notch View Inn and Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a neat, well kept and run campground with extraordinary views. Near golf courses at the Balsams and in Colebrook. We experienced a problem with our tow dolly and the hosts were extremely helpful in helping us. The sites are large and spacious, and the fish ponds are a joy to behold. A very quiet campground. We camped at Notch View Inn and Campground in a Motorhome.

Wow. With a breath taking view of no less than 7 notches in the White Mountains of NH. I have stayed here twice now. Both times the owners were outstanding. On our first trip an issue with the well stopped the water to our site. In the meantime the owners bent over backwards for us, making sure we had water until the service was restored. Sites have plenty of room in between and are for the most part very level. Highly recommend. We camped at Notch View Inn and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This park has incredible mountain and valley views especially during fall foliage …the colors were awesome. The park itself is set high up on a hill with a steep climb up on a dirt road. There is no cell phone coverage on that side of the notch so expect to be unreachable while there. The sites set on the side of the hill descending down were somewhat un- level side to side. Satellite worked great and the campground has two small little fishing ponds set up with benches and picnic tables to enjoy. This a a little known gem and we will go back someday. We camped at Notch View Inn and Campground in a Motorhome.
