Very nice park, friendly staff, nice big enclosed dog park, Next to river which was shallow and fun to wade in, but next to freeway so a lot of road noise. We camped at Littleton / Franconia Notch KOA in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground. The owner is friendly and helpful, escorted us to our pull thru site, and gave us information on things to do in the area. The river that runs along the campground is very pretty Neat playground and patio area near the office. A bit of road noise, but not really a problem compared to the other nice things the campground offers. We camped at Littleton / Franconia Notch KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Near lots of New Hampshire scenic drives and tourist attractions. The nearby town of Bath, NH is a quaint New England village with an historic church, covered bridge, and general store that sells delicious fudge and smoked meats. The smoked bacon is fantastic! The National Forest Visitors center in North Woodstock has helpful staff who can help plan sightseeing, depending on the time available. They sell audio tour CD for $5 that tells what to see, as well as the history of the area.

Excellent park, quiet and well managed, this KOA has rules and everyone has to abide by them but there was no issues while we were there. Just down the road it 99 Restaurant, very good place to eat! YES, they have Lobster Roll's which was an addiction that we acquired on this east coast roadtrip. Take a day-trip and go the town where the Maple Syrup Factory is, well worth the time and it is free, you will be amazed at the facts you will hear about syrup! Also, nearby is a Cheese Factory and they have a great tour and partake of the cheese sampling, and try each flavor, I have always preferred one type but sampling all of the flavors sure woke me up and I found that I loved so many other flavors over the one that I have eaten all my life. And we found that many small towns has craft shows on weekends, we visited those and had a ball. While you are there buy the Maple Syrup and half the price you will find everywhere else! We camped at Littleton / Franconia Notch KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice KOA located next to a river. Gravel roads and pad with lots of grass. Escort to site and help backing into site. Everything you would expect at a good KOA. Nice shade. Path to the river. On Saturday Night they were sold out and alot of tenters which produced slow and intermittent wi-fi and lots of campfires. Between the road noise and the campfire smoke we had to sleep with the windows closed and AC on a beautiful night in New Hampshire. We camped at Littleton / Franconia Notch KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We loved this little campground. The staff was great with an escort to our site. It's close to grocery stores and great for day trips. It rained a lot while we were there but the sites drained quickly. The only down side is there is no Wi-Fi on at least one end of the campground. We just took our evening cup of coffee down to the office. They have lots of outdoor seating and you can get on line. The added bonus in that is getting to talk to other campers. Pancake breakfast on Saturday morning and ice cream sundaes that night. Can't get any better! We camped at Littleton / Franconia Notch KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice quiet park with great people to assist you. We had a nice long pull through site for our 40'MH and it was nice to listen to the river in the evening. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Littleton / Franconia Notch KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice people checked us in and led us to our site. Twice they came down to make sure everything was all right. Campground was quiet, clean and well maintained. Our pull through was gravel, shaded and very level. Water pressure was a little weak. Our MI-FI worked well, however, phone service and 3G was almost non-existent. We camped at Littleton / Franconia Notch KOA in a Motorhome.

Wonderful park nestled in the mountains. Located along a beautiful river. Our cabin was great. Comfortable and facing the river, the view was spectacular. We were running behind and the owner waited up for us. Wonderful people. Staff was great. They were helpful in getting us directions for the area. Great sites along the river for a pop-up. We camped at Littleton / Franconia Notch KOA in a Campground Cabin.

Toss up between an 8 or 9 - it is grassy area sites, nice areas to walk down to the river, fishing appears to be good (if number of people out fly fishing is indicative of fish), workers are helpful, quiet and safe atmosphere, pool is nice for families, it is just us two seniors and we love it here amongst friendly neighbors. First time in New Hampshire so spending more time touring than actually in park. We camped at Littleton / Franconia Notch KOA in a Travel Trailer.

If you are looking for a small quiet family friendly campground, you will find it here. We have visited here a number of times and in the future we will camp here again. The Ammonoosuc River really makes the campground special. Highly recommend a camp site on the river. We camped at Littleton / Franconia Notch KOA in a Truck Camper.
