A large park with sites for primitive tent camping, tents with electric and water, full hook up for RV, sites for weekenders and sites for "seasonal" some permanent. The park is clean, nearly every long term camp site is tidy, although some have a fun large collection of yard art. The playground is nice, there is a nice fishing spot, the snack bar made us some wonderful steak subs! Pool is updated and large. Beach is clean. Horseshoe pit is well maintained. The park is CASH only. No pet visitors during Race weekends or Motorcycle weekend. We camped at Cascade Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Gasoline is nearby in one direction. RV supplies and sales not far away in the other direction. Nice and central to the Lakes region and Manchester / Concord. Nice selection of grocery stores close by if you want to wait to stock up on food, etc.

Overall Rating:

This is a very large RV park. MANY of the sites are used by longtime tenants. The area for big rigs that are short-term is way in the back of the park. This area has no trees and therefore no shade. It could use some TLC, but on the whole is pretty good. We stayed a week, at the weekly rate. The owners were friendly and helpful. The internet router had been struck by lightning, so it wasn't working most of the time it we were there. However the day it did work, it was strong. The park is close to Loudon and convenient to all conveniences. We would stay here again. We camped at Cascade Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Park is larger than it appears from the road. The owners are very helpful and co operative. There are a lot of locals who have permanent sites in this facility. We were allowed to recieve additional quests without additional cost. We picked a full hook up site and didn't use any of the parks facilities other than a clean well supplied outhouse.

I would definately stay at this park again. We camped at Cascade Campground in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice people run this campground. We came quite late in the season - September - so most travelers are gone. Most sites are seasonal, pretty well kept too. The river and beach are nice. Short distance to Concord, Camping World. It's just OK. I wish, wish the bathrooms had been cleaned the three days we were there - hair in abundance on the floor, slight garbage in the showers. We camped at Cascade Campground in a Motorhome.
