This is a large wooded campground with very spacious sites with woods in between each site for complete privacy. Nestled in the hills near Lake Winnipesauke with easy access off Interstate 93 but a couple of miles so you don't get road noise. The roads inside the park itself are pretty bad. Frost heaves are very deep and it's bumpy, windy and hilly but doable. Hopefully they'll redo these roads soon. The sites are back in but easy for big rigs to get into. They have crushed rocks, full hookup 30/50 amp with strong cable. Staff was extremely nice and there's an indoor pool here as well as playground, horseshoes etc. No onsite propane refills. I didn't use the park wifi as it was not free but hotspots were good. Verizon was 5.5d/3.4u without a booster and 12d/5u with a booster. ATT was 10d/1.7u w/out a booster and 15d/2u with a booster. T mobile was also good over 10d w/out booster. Shopping and activities are plentiful in the nearby towns. You don't have to go far to get everything you need. The laundromat onsite was small. 2 single washers/2 dryers so we went to Village Laundry which was about a 15 min drive. It was very clean. It uses a card system which required a single $1 bill to start the card which you can then fill up with larger bills. No coins accepted and no credit cards accepted. We camped at Meredith Woods in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is the 3rd year we've stayed here, and probably our favorite RV park. The lot size is amazing, and each lot is surrounded by woods on three sides. Really great firepits, mostly made of huge boulders. So much privacy. They have a nice indoor swimming pool and hot tub, and the campground across the street (same owners I think) is right on Lake Pemigewassett, so there is kayaking and canoeing. The only reason I didn't give a 10 star rating would be the rough roads - although I think that is mainly caused by tree roots, a side effect of having lots of trees! We camped at Meredith Woods in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The town of Meredith is really a neat place - lots to do, and right on Lake Winnepesaukee. Good restaurants and shops. Right down the street from Weirs Beach. A lot to do there.

We stayed for two weeks as a a celebration for our 50th anniversary was being held in Meredith. The good: Site was very nice, woody, and level. Lots of seasonal residents but somewhat segregated. Nice area for walking with room for all types of camping...tent, pop up, any sized RV. WiFi, cable and utilities were excellent. Drainage mostly good, but some patches of mud which could have used sand. Laundry facilities were good and in working order. Location was close to eateries, the Lake, and shopping. The inconvenient: arriving in the pouring rain at 11:50 the greeting was about the $10 early registration fee. The road in and out of the park is a single lane wide. The roads and turns are somewhat tight. Also, they are very strict about visitors, another first for us. For a park with quiet time, a 6:15 am noisy garbage pickup seemed out of place. Maybe warn the campers ahead. We would recommend this park, but encourage you to read the rules before you commit. We camped at Meredith Woods in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Groceries at Hannaford's. Dinner at Lakeside Grill, Canoe, The Camp. Ice cream at Kellerhaus or Lilikuwana's. Drinks and music at Nazwar. Took the mail boat cruise on the lake. Went to the Loon Center. Hiked Rattlesnake Mountain and had a beautiful view of Squam Lake. Saw a play at Winnapasaukee Playhouse. Lots to eat, drink, see and do.

Overall Rating:

This was our first stay here and there were both great things and bad things so it is hard to put a number on it. First impression was influenced partly because we arrived after dark. Check in was ok but we questioned our site as we were put on a seasonal site and we were told that we will love our site and location. Well that turned out to be a big negative for us. First off we had our 2 year old grandson with us and we were so far from the pool that we had to drive there when there were great sites near the pool. Also the site was full of junk so backing in in the dark was interesting on the thin street. There were 2 picnic tables as one was rotting away so why was that still there. Also there were hoses, electric cords and cable cords left on the site and wrapped around the hook ups and finally a pile of dirt just left on the site. Take this away and clean things up and the site is large and private with a great fireplace like all the other sites. The final issue with the site and we asked about it at check in, once we booked here, we brought 5 other couples there all staying for less time than us. They were all put together but we were clearly across the campground no where close to all our friends. We do not know why they did this but this really put a damper on our stay there. Most likely would never plan a group event here again. Other items to mention, you have to pay for internet which we have never had to do before, that would have been ok but if you pay it needs to work for the time you paid for but it would just disappear from time to time. The hot tub does not look appealing as it is very stained from the water I guess and the floor and seats are very rough and actually hurt you feet getting in and out. Now the good stuff, as I said, the site are large, private and have great fireplaces. The indoor pool is nice, we were alone everyday except our last day. The interior roads are nicely paved. So there is good with the bad here. We camped at Meredith Woods in a Travel Trailer.

This is one of our favorite parks - large, spacious back in lots - beautiful, surrounded by tall trees. Great fire pits. A really nice indoor swimming pool and hot tub. Downside - they need to put some money into improving their interior roads - very rutted and bumpy. And one thing really bugs us - they seem to be very cheap and "money grubbing". What I mean is, as a for instance, we got there at noon - check in was not till 1 p.m. The lady said it would cost us an additional $5 to start setting up on our lot - even though, it was all ready. They didn't need to do anything special. To me, that was very cheap. Also, internet is $2 a day for each of your phones, or laptops. Ok, I get charging for internet - but doggone it, if you're going to charge me what amounts to $60 a month, then it better be good internet. It was not - most of the time, my laptop sat and buffered. I finally just shut it down and used my phone, on my own data plan. Overall, we love the park, I just wish they were less "stingy" on these items. When park owners act that way, I feel it just diminishes the experience. We camped at Meredith Woods in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Meredith NH is a great town - lots to do. We kayaked across the highway in the Clearwater Campground on the Pemi Lake. That was beautiful! Saw loons, a hawk and an eagle! Amazing! But Meredith itself has lots - great restaurants, boating on Lake Winnepesaukee, great art shops.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this campground. After a 2 week trip through New England some one said go see Lake Winnipesaukee. Found Meredith Woods and we extended from 1 to 3 days. What a gem! Lots are very secluded and spacious. We could've parked two 40' MH side by side and extended the awnings and still have room! Nice stone fire pits, easy access to hookups and sites are surrounded by trees and huge boulders. We were there after Labor Day so there were no kids and very few campers. There is an indoor heated pool and jacuzzi. The layout is such that parents can watch through glass windows while kids are in game room or video room while they enjoy the jacuzzi. Used all 3 nights and was the only one. The pool and jacuzzi were extremely clean. The lawn chairs and tables surrounding the pool looked to be new. No mold, dirt, etc. anywhere to be found. Very Impressed! We will go back to NH just to go to Meredith Woods. Highly recommended! We camped at Meredith Woods in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Road leading to registration is bumpy but soon forgotten when you get to your spacious spot. We started to question what we had chosen but this is truly a hidden gem. We took one day to cruise the lake on Mt. Washington. A must - Lake Winnipesaukee is impressive (and I'm from the Chesapeake Bay area so I see lots of water)

Meredith Woods is a beautiful, well-though out campground. It has large sites w/ W,E,S & CABLE and WiFi at the site. The indoor pool was delightful. The fixed placement on the firepits were made from huge rocks on the sides and back. We camped at Meredith Woods in a Fifth Wheel.

The sites are huge and wooded. Could not see my neighbor which is what I am love the most and what I am looking for. Staff was nice. You can use the beach in campground across the street, which I looked at but did not use. If you are looking for some big private sites this is the place. Also the indoor pool is very clean and well kept. We camped at Meredith Woods in a Motorhome.

This was our first outing of the season and we stayed her because of their indoor pool. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a 4 1/2 year old with us and they gave us a site with a short walk to the playground/pool for her. The roads are a bit tight and not in great shape after the winter here but the sites were large and nice (although there was still snow piled up and it was muddy because of the season). The playground was okay for the 4 1/2 year old but would be too old for smaller children. The pool was great! We utilized it several times over the weekend. There are bathrooms and showers right off the pool area and they were relatively clean but the showers had poor water pressure (but the hot water). We will probably try to stay here once again off season. We camped at Meredith Woods in a Motorhome.

This campground is located in a real nice area of NH with plenty of local shopping and things to do. The campground is nicely done with paved roads that are a bit narrow but adequate for big rigs. The sites are all large back-in gravel and almost perfectly level with plenty of space between them for privacy. Utilities are good and properly situated. There are quite a few seasonals scattered throughout the park but very well taken care of sites. The camp store is small but Walmart is close by. They have a very nice and well maintained clean indoor pool and hot tub. The office staff is friendly and helpful. The one thing we found odd was after you enter the campground through the electric gate you need to drive through about 1/2 the campground to reach the office to register. We stayed a week and enjoyed it and would return again. We camped at Meredith Woods in a Motorhome.

Excellent campground, huge back in sites with large stone fire places. Lots of privacy with large trees and shrubbery between sites. Indoor pool and hot tub, clean showers and bathrooms, well stocked store, game room, laundry, great walking area and for seeing the sights of the Lake region of New Hampshire. You also have access to the sister campground across the street which is on a lake. We had a special rate of, "stay 4 nights for the price of 3". Bargin for what you get. Cable TV with good reception. WiFi $ extra but excellent. We camped at Meredith Woods in a Motorhome.

Another great stay at Meredith Woods RV Resort. We took advantage of stay 3 nights during the week and get the 4th night free. We were on fabulous site, 213. It is very quiet and the sites are large and level. The power post is very easy to get to and the sewer was set right in the middle of the site. The site also had Wi-Fi ($2/per day) as well as cable. The restrooms were very clean, as was the campground. This campground has an indoor pool and hot tub as well as a lake across the street. We plan to camp here in the future. We camped here as our first trip of the spring because they had an indoor pool. The sites were very clean, wooded and spacious. Lots of motor homes here, they love the roomy level wooded sites. We thought the price was a little high for this time of the year, not peak season, we could not get them to offer us a discount or guide us to any offers or coupons at all. We almost did not go because of the price, but we did and it was very nice. The pool was great, the stone fire pits are awesome, and each camp site was equipped with a metal trash barrel with a trash bag inside. During the warmer weather we will camp at places which have a lake or outdoor pools and water parks but this was a nice place to stay at. We wish they would offer a lower price deal for off season camping, but they said for them, there is no off season as they offer camping year-round. We camped at Meredith Woods in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here in April because of the indoor pool and hot tub. Visited relatives a few years ago who stay here and were very impressed so decided to stay for a few days. Loved the private wooded sites with plenty of room between your neighbors. Stone fire pits, paved roads very well kept campground. We had our son and daughter-in-law stay over night (Fee $15 each) and 2 day guests ($4 each). Our 10 month old grand daughter was included in our base rate. We were aware of the extra charge before we booked. Fire wood was $4 a bundle which was the cheapest campground price we have found. Our day guests and my wife and I are already planning on booking 2 sites for next year! They wished they had taken their camper this year! We camped at Meredith Woods in a Motorhome.

This campground is fantastic! You have the benefits of staying at one campground and playing at two (Clearwater Campground right across the street). Both campgrounds were very clean. Meredith Woods campground had large level sites that are quite secluded. We stayed in site 211 and you can hardly see your neighbors. The indoor pool and hot tub is a great amenity considering the weather was only in the 70s during our stay. The bathroom and showers were spotless. We would definitely stay at this campground again.
