This is a no frills campground and is conveniently located near Waterville Valley. Most Sites are on gravel or grass and are a little tight not leaving you much room. The water spigot was very far away. Good thing I had a 50 foot hose with us. The electrical post was conveniently located at the mid point of the site. There was wifi but spotty at best. Our AT&T phones did not have any service. We were a little surprised at the # of rules on their sheet and the amount of rules that addressed unhappy campers. Really made us think that we should not have stayed here. Perhaps rude and unhappy campers should be addressed individually and as to not scold all the campers upon arriving. We camped at Goose Hollow Camp & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We really like this campground. It's very pretty with a nearby flowing river and trails. They have a pool and an active recreation schedule. There is quiet areas of the campground that we like. Centrally located to many amenities in the area. The trees in the fall are gorgeous in this CG. Pet friendly, we appreciate that. We enjoyed the Halloween festivities with trick or treating, contests, bonfire. Cons; My husband uses the restroom and takes showers in the public restroom. He could tell that it wasn't cleaned. The shower had trash in it, and it was not cleaned out. The speed bumps are outrageously huge. especially near 109. Not necessary. We kept bottoming out our motorcycle and there was no way around it. One time we got STUCK on it! We still like it there very much just not sure if we can bring our motorcycle again. We camped at Goose Hollow Camp & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

If you have a low clearance RV, car, etc. be very careful. They have speed bumps but one in particular is a RV trap. A huge iron pipe which caught my underbelly on my Airstream and scrapped my weight distribution hitch. The owner's wife was less than sympathetic and took my mild complaints as a threat. No phone reception and very patchy Wi-Fi. 6 rating because of the terrible speed bump, patchy Wi-Fi, and internal roads. Shame really, because otherwise a very scenic site.

Oh they also charge an extra 3 dollars a night if you use air or electric heating/heat pump. Not mentioned when you phone in a reservation. We camped at Goose Hollow Camp & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed 6 nights. Our site along the river was great. They are on off-season, so the campground was pretty empty, so it was good and quiet. Restrooms need updated but clean. Lots of things for kids to do. Caught trout in the river. Very big campground with good sites. Would definitely come back. We camped at Goose Hollow Camp & RV Park in a Tent Trailer.

This is a basic campground, nothing special. It was clean and neat. The bathrooms were clean, but could use updating. Staff at check in was nice and that is all we saw of them. Twenty amp service electric is all that is available, first time I have seen that in years. No cable and no TV channels, but we survived. Some sites are small, but ours was fine for what we needed and the trailer and TV fit fine. The Mas River was fun, we did some tubing. Start at one end of the campground and tube to the main entrance. Nice quiet place, did not see any staff out patrolling or anything like that. We were able to enjoy our fires at night without a problem. The 20 amp service is the only thing that could keep me from returning as it was a nice weekend, but AC was not needed. Great campground. Very friendly and restrooms very clean. It's a small campground and not very many workers just the owners and kids which is great but we had to wait for the kids to come do the activities. They should have been ready. The pool was great. They have fireworks fourth of July at the campground which were really awesome for being a campground. Kids loved it and very pet friendly!! They even had a dog contest. Owners are very friendly and we go ever year. We camped at Goose Hollow Camp & RV Park in a Tent Trailer.

The campground itself was clean, and well kept. The sites were small and sitting right on top of one another in most cases. The owners were rather rude and unfriendly. They were also fanatical about the 5 mph speed limit, handing out tickets to anyone that "appeared" to be going over the limit. Of course, they have no way to prove it and your only recourse is to leave. I have never had any trouble at a campground in all my years. We are quiet and follow posted rules as well as just try to be respectful. Some of my comments are influenced by treatment of the group of campers next to us. They were bothered to the point of harassment for noise and frankly they weren't even disturbing us. They were not friends of ours. We were right next to them and the nearest campers besides us were well over 200 yards away. The campground was nearly empty. They were a good sized group, having about 15 people camping together on about 6 sites. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this campground. It was a very uncomfortable weekend. I agree with prevoius post. Owners are rude and make you feel they are doing you the favor by letting you camp at their camp ground. I agree with the 5 mph speed limit but they seem to be random on who they tell to slow down especially since they dont have anyway of telling how fast you are going, but they seem to buzz around on their little ATV at more than 5 mph. Sites are small an you are right on top of one another. Camped in a TT and will not be back. We camped at Goose Hollow Camp & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
