Overall Rating:

Small RV park behind a small motor court. No frills, but everything worked and it was an easy in and out. We stayed here one night on the way from Maine to Montreal, around July 4th. All other parks in the area required 3-night minimums because of the holiday. All sites were pull through, and roads were easy to navigate. Check-in was OK - the owner was not in the office when I arrived, but she got there within 5 minutes. Site was gravel, plenty long for our 38' MH plus Jeep in tow. Water pressure and WiFi were fine. 30 amp service only, and it was hot that day, so we couldn't run both ACs. Trees partially blocked satellite reception so able to get only 2 of 3 western arc Dish satellites. Cable was basic. DO NOT LET YOUR DOGS WALK IN THE TREES, as there are large brown ticks everywhere, and one of our dogs got a tick on his head and one on his chin right after he walked near the trees. We camped at Twin Mountain Motor Court & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Open field behind motor lodge cabins. FHU's (30A) on fairly level gravel sites. Their wifi quality increases as number of occupied sites decreases, otherwise if near full it is terrible. Long drives for all sightseeing as well as groceries/necessities (normal grocery store, Walmart, etc.) Staff is very friendly but forgot to furnish me with the check-in sheet & wifi code. Not much to do at the campground, there is a clean pool, play area for kids, and clubhouse with TV, books, tables and lounging furniture. I never did locate any bath/showers, but there is a laundry facility. We camped at Twin Mountain Motor Court & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We paid $36 per night for a 30 amp FHU pull thru site with cable and wifi. The utilities are somewhat dated, but everything work ok. The sites here are all very level and are layed out like a bunch of Y's. You drive up the middle and then pull into the left side or right side, 9 sites on each side. Odd numbered sites are on the left, even number on the right. Both sides end up facing into the woods for some added privicy. The road loops around all of the sites making getting in and out very easy here. The cable lineup was pretty much a basic lineup, but has networks from the Portland, ME area and Burlington VT / Plattsburgh, NY areas. The wifi was incredibly slow, I first connected at 1 Mbps and gave up. The best speed I was able to get was 5.5 Mbps very early in the am. Our Verizon broadband and cell phones were good. Overall a nice place to base your visit to the mountains from. We camped at Twin Mountain Motor Court & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Twin Mountain does not have much in it, mostly motels and RV parks and a family restaurant. Best bet during the summer months is the Woodstock Inn & Brewery on US-3 just north of the Kancamagus Hwy. They have daily happy hour from 3 - 5 at the bars with $4 pints and half price appetizers.

Overall Rating:

This campground is basically a field behind cabins that they rent. There are about 30 pull through sites that radiate off of a center road. Less than half were occupied when we arrived and less than five or six were still there when we departed. The water (+45 pounds pressure), electric and sewer were fine and the cable received dozens of channels. I even got to see two Hill Street Blues reruns. All the staff and the seasonal residents were friendly and there was plenty of room for dog walking. The first several days the WiFi was poor to terrible, then when three or four motor homes departed one morning, it improved greatly. We did use the laundry to do several loads. It was clean and not expensive. The CG is centrally located so it was good for sightseeing, but our only complaint is that it was just an open field. No trees and no shade. On hot summer days some trees are a respite from the heat, but they had none to share. Oh yes, lest I forget, on one night, someone not related to or staying in the CG decided to present us with a fireworks display just outside the campgrounds perimeter. Of course our dog is deathly afraid of the noise, so we had to deal with a shaking, panting dog for several hours after the detonating of the illegal fireworks. Not the fault of the campground whatsoever, but unfortunately it still happened. We camped at Twin Mountain Motor Court & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice owners. I had a hose failure on way in and they allowed a service tech to work on coach for 2 days. The work included running the engine to see if leak was fixed.

Signage could be better at the entrance. The turn in to entrance is onto a narrow interior road so give yourself some room. The sites are dirt as are the roads. Sites are long and easy in and out. We camped at Twin Mountain Motor Court & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great campground with top-notch service in Twin Mountains, NH. We made reservations at the last minute for July 4th weekend and even though they couldn't accommodate us for Friday and Saturday night, they did offer a dry-camping site in a field within the camp and didn't even charge us. The sites are gravel with grass in between but the are pretty tight. Full sewer, electric and water on each site. Analog cable TV was good and WiFi was excellent (even when we dry camped in the field). Laundry offers 2 washers and 2 dryers and was clean. Highly recommend this park and truly appreciate the owners focus on customers. We camped at Twin Mountain Motor Court & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a great park for a launching pad for sight seeing in the White Mountains. We wanted an open site so we could use our satellite dish. It worked perfectly. Other campgrounds in the area could not guarantee access as they had too many trees. One of the other campgrounds referred us here and it worked great for us. WiFi service was good. It went out one day and the owners took immediate action and had it fixed same day. Plenty of space to walk pets. Level, spacious pull thru sites. Friendly staff. We stayed a week as they offer a free day with weekly stay. We camped at Twin Mountain Motor Court & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for a week to explore the White Mountains. The sites were a good size although we had no one beside us thus making it comfortable for us. I would imagine it would be a little tight if we did have neighbours. It is basically a large parking lot divided into pull thru sites. The first problem we had was while plugging into the site pole our surge protector showed an open ground. Checked a site two over from us and the same result. We move to another site and it was OK. The WiFi was spotty at best and phone service was non-existent (to be expected in the mountains). Only 30 amp service but strong. Water pressure was very good and the cable was also very good. Now if the park were to fill up maybe these amenities might be strained. It is a good base for exploring the area and the price is reasonable. If they were to upgrade to 50amp service we might stay here again. We camped at Twin Mountain Motor Court & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed a week and enjoyed it very much. You have to be self contained because there are no restrooms or showers. All sites are pull through and there is ample room between the sites. There is a pool table along with numerous board games available in the office. Cable TV and Wi-Fi both worked well. The owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Twin Mountain Motor Court & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here two nights at the end of the season in October. We picked the campground due to it's proximity to Mount Washington and the surrounding area. Having already spending over a week in several beautiful campgrounds and being in one of the prettiest places in New Hampshire we were very disappointed with Twin Mountain, which is just an open field with campsites right on top of each other with no vegetation to give even a hint of privacy. The staff was friendly and the sites are pretty level, there is some road noise, but it was just a place to park and we will not come back. We camped at Twin Mountain Motor Court & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a nice little park that is very convenient to all White Mountain activities. It doesn't have a lot of "character", but it is a wonderful home base for exploring the area. It is surrounded by some small mountains. The sites are all long and mostly level (we saw a few tires off the ground). There is space between the sites but no privacy due to the lack of trees. There is only 30 amp. We were here during the "off" season so the park itself was pretty vacant and quiet. There is road noise but it quiets down at night. The Wi-Fi is sketchy. We were close to the hotspot and still needed to use our Wi-Fi extenders. We came here for the hiking and didn't put a dent in the available options. There are tons of things to do around here. We would definitely stay here again. Our price reflects a weekly rate. We camped at Twin Mountain Motor Court & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This friendly park has gravel interior roads and sites that are level and easily maneuvered. Sites are separated by grassy areas giving some space but no privacy between neighbors. Basic utilities are good, Wi-Fi is a little slow but good, cable hookup is very good and the lack of shade makes satellite reception easy. AT&T phone service was available in the area. There is a clean laundry, nice pool, playground and walking path. We would stay here again. We camped at Twin Mountain Motor Court & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
