There are a couple reason this place doesn't get a higher grade. For one, there's a $5 charge for a tow vehicle, and $5 charge per dog, the dog park closes at dusk, which in four plus years of travel, we've never run into before. The space our 22 foot RV is in barely fits the RV let alone the vehicle we have. We almost had to park the car with part of it in the road. It is essentially unless you are tent camping or in the cabins, a parking lot with a couple trees spread throughout. There are also very few lights around the lot which makes walking to the bathhouse or walking the dogs at night hard, dangerous and a little worrisome. The bathhouse has lights but the path to it does not. They also have let their camp Golden Retriever, who seems very nice, wander the mini golf section alone and unminded, without a visible collar. I could not find a handicap entrance for the bathhouse. There were 2 steps up and no easy way to do it with a wheelchair. I do not have one right now but I might in the future so I am not pleased. The Wi-Fi is, like every other KoA we've ever been in, is spotty and the connection can be very slow making loading email a little rough and we are here on the tail end of the season in a pretty empty park. [Note: Tent and Cabin sites are more wooded, and private] Now, there are some nice things: The bathrooms are very clean, at least in October, and very, very nicely done with hot water and a good amount of it. There is a trail, (though it's a little hard to find!) that leads to the River and a pond. The trail isn't "Easy" it is downhill and a little steep, but it was well worth the hike. The trail leads to the pond then to the river where there is plenty of places to take pretty photos from. Those are the only real positives, however. We camped at Lincoln / Woodstock KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Go check out the Flume Gorge and take the Cannon Mountain Tram ride - make sure to ASK for the Discovery pass as the cashier does not and it's MUCH cheaper to do the Discovery pass. The gorge is a little over 2 miles and it's a LOVELY trail. it is downhill, a bit, so it can be rough BUT there are plenty of places to sit and relax. Also on the way back from Cannon mountain, go to the basin west pull off, the short 12 minute hike is well worth it.

This is a great park even with the high cost. We had a deluxe premium site which is the only site we could get over Labor Day weekend. We loved the site and were very glad we spent the extra money. The site is larger than a normal site with a paved patio with your own gas grill and very nice fire pit. This park has it all if you have kids but things were so well spread out and well organized that you just could sit back and watch the activities without feeling overwhelmed by kids. Everything was so clean and well taken care of and staff was extremely friendly. My only negative would be the roads were very dusty in the park. We would definitely return. We camped at Lincoln / Woodstock KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a "Destination" KOA so be prepared for lots of kids having a wonderful time. Personally we enjoy seeing kids out of doors having fun rather than head down in an electronic device, but they can be noisy. I have no problem with that. What I did have a big problem with was the inflatable jump pad at this campground. If you find yourself in a campsite at the south end of the property, the turbo-fans that keep the jump pad inflated will make you crazy with their constant whine. It is impossible to sit outside and enjoy a quiet afternoon with that thing running. A very simple solution would be for the campground to build an enclosure around the fans. This would attenuate the noise significantly. Unfortunately, when I suggested this to one staff member I was politely told, "That ain't going to happen." Too bad, because it cost them points in my review. Othewise our stay here was just fine. Our site was level and nicely shaded. All utilities worked well including the WiFi which I am usually critical of. There is lots to see and do in the area. Hiking trails abound in the White Mountains. Or if you feel like taking a nice scenic drive, take a trip across the Kancamagus Highway, Rt 112 east out of Lincoln, HN, just up the road. It's a lovely drive. I suppose we would stay here again, if they fix the turo-fan problem. We camped at Lincoln / Woodstock KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for 2 days visiting the White Mountains recently. Very nice campground, great owners, clean, well organized and conveniently located off Rt 93 just a 10-12 minute drive to Lincoln and a lot of the action on the S Franconia side of the White Mtns. would definitely stay here again next trip up and would highly recommend it to those visiting this neck of the woods in the White Mountains. Tips for other Campers:

so many things to do on the Franconia side of the White Mountains on Rt 3. we had an EXCELLENT pancake breakfast at Polly's Pancake Parlor in Sugar Hill (next to Franconia) about a 30 minute drive up rt 3 and a nice drive. if you LIKE pancakes this is the place to be - our third time there. busy place so go early and they DO have call ahead seating which we used and I'd recommend

A well kept campground in a woodsy setting. Not nearly as quiet as the last time we were here, but to be fair last time was late in the season with the campground nearly empty. This time it's the peak of the season. Mostly single lane gravel access roads with gravel sites. Older sites have grass patios and mature trees. Newer sites are all gravel with minimal shade (mainly young trees). A lot of changes since we were last here. A row of big rig friendly pullthrus has been added. This area is more like being in an open field. It's also right next to the playground, volleyball, bounce pillow and party tent, so it can be rather noisy during the day and into the evening.

Power ok (even under load), water ok (55psi), sewer ok. Wifi reasonable signal strength and speed (you do have to "re-authorize" every 24hrs, but it's just load a web page and click). Verizon LTE 5 bars with good speed; Mobile LTE 3 bars with good speed. Some road bike riding along the roads in the campground, but no immediately adjacent road bike trails. Single stream recycling on site.

We will stay here again, but probably only during the off season as it's too noisy for our tastes during peak season. We camped at Lincoln / Woodstock KOA in a Motorhome.

Our pull thru site was nice and level. The length and width were more than adequate for our 35' trailer and 3 slides. We opted for a patio site, and the pavers were laid out nicely with a like-new chair and table set and fire ring. All utilities worked as they should, and the cable and wifi were fine. The owners could not have been nicer, and kept the place looking great. It's a great location for a White Mountain vacation. We would definitely stay there again. We arrived very late in the season, just a few days before they close down for the winter. The office closed a bit early but had taped a map with our space clearly marked. By positioning our trailer in the right spot on the site we did not need to use levelers. There was ample room to put out our three slide rooms. The grass wasn't lush, some dirt was also apparent but we did not seem to track anything inside our RV. This KOA is set up great for young families with playgrounds, a huge bouncing platform, swimming pool, game room, Frisbee golf, etc. The campground is located well, just a few minutes drive to the Flume entrance of Franconia Notch State Park, Kancamagus Highway which is a 34.5 mile scenic drive, and on this same highway just 3-4 miles from the campground are many restaurants, tourist attractions, grocery store, gasoline, etc. This is a very scenic area with tons of hiking trails. I would definitely return if I were coming back to visit this area. We camped at Lincoln / Woodstock KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Be sure to walk the Flume Gorge Trail and the Ridge Trail on the way back. Two lovely covered bridges along the way. Try to go to the top of Mount Washington either by tour van or Cog Railway.

Extremely tidy, manicured and well maintained KOA. Gravel sites, some with pavers and patio sets. Well placed hookups. Space between sites to not feel in your neighbors space. An unleashed lab was quickly contained as the managers rode about the park on a regular basis. Slight road noise from the Interstate (although it is not a close access). As with most KOA's, very family oriented with a lot of activities for children. We would certainly stay here again. We camped at Lincoln / Woodstock KOA in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here twice before and have loved it, this time was still good but not quite as much love. Some of this could be caused by the group we camped with but mostly it was the other campers. Being Labor Day weekend you expect some issues but there was a group that was loud and out of control. Should have been removed but they were not. On the good, we were able to take advantage of the noon check-in and we extended our checkout so that was great. They have a new jumping pad which the kids and some adults had fun on. They had activities, a nice pool and mini golf to name a few things. Our site was great and we enjoyed everything else about this campground. Great location for many local sites. Not sure what the future will be but I am sure we will be back at some point. We camped at Lincoln / Woodstock KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Nice KOA set in a park like setting with scattered trees. Trees are trimmed mostly high and wide enough. Beautiful fall foliage without even leaving the campground. Packed gravel access roads and sites. Access roads narrow, but adequate as long as two rigs don't meet. Nice separation between sites. Power ok, water pressure ok (except when the rental RV took off one morning without unhooking, but staff had the problem fixed within minutes), sewer slightly elevated above ground, Wi-Fi ok (decent speed but irregular disconnects), good Verizon cell signal. We will stay here again. We camped at Lincoln / Woodstock KOA in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects full hook-up standard site before KOA discount. We used this campsite over the weekend as a home base for exploring the surrounding area. It is easily located among the attractions in the White Mountains. GPS was off in directions, but got us close enough that we were able to follow the signs after that. Roads in campground are not paved, but fairly well maintained. They do kick up quite a bit of dust though. Park is nicely laid out with activity areas (playground, field, etc.) centrally located in the middle of the park or near the main office. The premium sites appeared to all be level, however the non-premium have a cluster that are not. We were in site #24 and I can tell you that #23 - #27 are on a downhill slope. Our site had huge tree roots coming up through the ground making that part of the site unusable and the opening for the sewer hookup was at an incline making it slightly challenging to dump before you left. Bathrooms were slightly dated, but clean. Overall park was clean. Despite numbers of dogs and children, the park was quiet. We would stay here again, but would stay clear of the cluster of sites mentioned in this review. We camped at Lincoln / Woodstock KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Rate reflects electric/water site as FHU sites are few (12-ish). Narrow sites, fairly quiet campground. $3 charge for pets, which is not stated at the time of reservation. We do not stay at a lot of KOA's, but this is the first KOA to charge for our dog. Fairly nice staff. Nice location for exploring the White Mountains - be sure to stop at the Lincoln Visitor Center for local information. Expensive for what you get; probably wouldn't stay here again mainly for that reason. There are plenty of campgrounds in the area. We camped at Lincoln / Woodstock KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

A lot of the full hook up sites were nicely landscaped, graded and level, but that was not the case with ours. To get proper drainage on my full hookups that I had paid for I had to plank up the trailer wheels by 4 inches. Our site was in dire need of much gravel to correct this problem. The electric and water connections were okay. In addition, I noticed a lot of the water/electric only sites were unlevel, no gravel and with bare tree roots showing. Putting the site issues aside the campground was very clean and maintained. Wi-Fi and cell phone worked well. Campground is mostly level with mix of open to lightly wooded areas. Staff was professional, friendly and informative. Wi-Fi and cell phone worked well. Very nice camp store. Campground is very dog friendly with nice centrally located dog park. Some campground noise after quiet hours. We camped at Lincoln / Woodstock KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We were very impressed with this campground. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Here is how I rated the park. Pro's: level site, full hook ups were great, camp store was well stocked, close to local attractions, friendly staff. Con's: GPS does not recognize physical address. ( however, there are signs to point you in the right direction once you get close). We would definitely camp here again. Loved the area! Camped here in a 40' 5th wheel.
