We stayed here the last weekend in September because we wanted to be close to the boardwalk for Monster trucks on the beach. It was wonderful. Only 6 miles to the boardwalk but there are so many planned activities here that you never have to leave. Site was easy to back in and it was our 1st time ever having to back into a site. We had zero issues and our combined length between trailer and truck is 52'. Nice concrete patio and shaded site. All hookups worked well. Park was clean and well maintained. Golf cart rentals were a plus! We camped at Beachcomber Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Out of all the campground resorts I have visited, Beachcomber is the best. The personnel is friendly and the resort is very clean. There is constant activity for both adults and children. One of the best things to do is to relax at the lake. The view is absolutely beautiful. Beachcomber Resort is definitely one place you'll one to visit!! Stayed here on (unfortunately) a rainy weekend in early Sept. Because of the weather, we didn't get to use the lake beach or pools, but they sure looked great. The cg roads were a bit tight getting to our site, and the first site we were assigned we couldn't manage to get into because of fences and lightposts, but the cg staff let us pick another that worked for us, and sent a fellow over to assist us in (we came in after dark, and appreciated the help!) The many seasonal sites were very well maintained, and some were downright beautiful, although they are spaced very close together. All of the seasonals we encountered during the weekend were very nice. Many golf carts, but only electric, and no speeders. Quiet at night after 11, and didn't encounter any "yahoos". The bathrooms and showers we used ($0.25/4mins) were clean. So we'll definitely be back, hopefully during better weather when we can enjoy more of the amenities. We camped at Beachcomber Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice campground. I don't understand the low reviews? Yes it's tight, some sites are hard to get into. They seem to have some strict rules, but nothing goofy. the campsites are decent albeit sandy we had a cement patio. All hookups were in good shape and well Placed. I got a cable box after a $20 deposit and it worked flawlessly the 4 Days we were there. And I got the $20 back when I returned it. No kids driving around on golf carts (you have to be 18). We didn't use the lake, it it looked nice, pool was clean and warm! Very friendly staff, we would definitely stay again. We camped at Beachcomber Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Yes, some of the roads and sites are tight to get into. We had a 31' class C with a toad and had no trouble, and we were in the back section. Tip...in that section, the number signs pull out of the ground to make it easier. As far as the kids driving golf carts, no more than anywhere else. That's it for the "bad", if you want to call it that.

The place is awesome. The sites in the back section are huge and wooded. Super clean, staff and seasonals very friendly. They cater to everyone, not just their seasonals. The pictures on their website doesn't do them justice. The beach area is huge. Kayak/canoe rentals are very reasonably priced. Lots to do at the campground, but lots of attractions a few minutes away also. Store has the essentials, but not many souvenirs, which was kind of a disappointment. Nice snack bar and ice cream shop on the beach. Plenty of parking near the pool/beach area, but it was nice renting a golf cart. We camped at Beachcomber Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Way way over priced! Checking in was a "Chinese fire drill". Finally found the site, roads are tight. Sewer was too far away, hose would not reach, site was not level, and lots of mud. They have the "old fashioned" cable box they give you after a big deposit. It would not work with my 12 volt 2017 TV. Many many kids here driving around and around in golf carts. This place is like an insane asylum! If you come, bring lots of alcohol, you'll need it. I can't believe that there are that many people that come here more than once! Masochists? We enjoyed our stay at Beachcomber. We decided to go last minute for a "shake down" trip on our new diesel pusher. We were so happy we chose to stay at Beachcomber. The sites are a bit tricky to back into, if you do not know what your doing. I drive professionally for a living, so it was nothing out of the norm for me. They will help you back in. Only complaint was they charge you refundable security deposits for your gate card as well as the cable box needed. Bathrooms were average. We will certainly stay again. We were surprised how busy the campground was since it was early May and the season just started. The campground is secured with gates in and out. A $10 deposit is required for the key card to open the gate. When we left the office was closed so we drop it through the office mail slot and was very surprised when we returned home two weeks later and a check for our deposit was in our pile of mail.

The sites a very tight and it took a lot of maneuvering to back in our 40' motorhome. The area we were in had a lot of trees which made satellite and antenna service impossible.

All in all we would return, but first would try to see if they had a site that was easier to get into and with less trees. We camped at Beachcomber Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed with a large group of other campers and while Beachcomber doesn't guarantee sites, they did a decent job of keeping us all close together. This was our first time camping at Beachcomber and while the drive lanes are tight we were able to get everyone in their sites without issue.
We stayed during Halloween festivities, which lead the campground to be mobbed. Had no issues with noise or issues with other campers. The trick or treat and haunted hayrides were both enjoyable for all of us.
Re-booked for Halloween 2016 as we had such a good time. We camped at Beachcomber Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Haunted Hayride is really enjoyable as they utilize seasonal campers as the actors who set up and run their own scenes.

Full hook-ups but the site was tight. Needed to jackknife 37-foot 5th wheel to get in site. Great Halloween activities. Tight exit when leaving 100's sites with narrow gate and 90 degree left turn. Highly recommend for kids on Halloween weekends. Many activities and great night scary hayride. We camped at Beachcomber Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This was our last camping trip of the season. Pools were closed, but we (camped with 3 other families) had an awesome time. Sites were large, though we all had difficulties backing in due to the fences they put up around the sites. Other then the tight maneuvering to park, this campground was PERFECT. They had plenty of activities for our kids, a real nice and large lake that even had an operational tug-boat, and concrete pads at our campsites. We will DEFINITELY visit this campground again. Great pick for the end of a great season of camping. We camped at Beachcomber Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Not big rig friendly as stated. Have split rail fence on road corners and other various inconvenient locations plus lamp posts at opening on each back-in site. If you are over a 35' class A, think twice. Would be so easy to fix if they wanted to!! Campground is clean and well maintained, but it should be for the price and extra fees they charge. Pay showers, $8/guest plus $8/car visitors fee, plus, plus, plus. Bring your wallet. Kind of like being on the boardwalk. Easy access to the shore the only reason for being here. We camped at Beachcomber Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

This is what we call: a do not return. I had site 97. They say that they are big rig friendly, and that is far from the truth. The roads are narrow and one way. They also have half of the sites set-up where you back in blind. The light post, fence and the narrow roads make it very hard to get a large unit into a site. They have 3 or 4 water spickets off of one line, behind the sites 12 to 20 PSI. You need to put up $60.00 CASH deposit for a cable box for each TV you want to watch and $2/day. My wife drove separate from me, do to work. So they hit me for $8/day for the extra car. Then told me I could not park it in my site even though it fit and was well off the narrow road. It had to be 75-80 yards from the site. DO NOT waste your time or money on this campground! We camped at Beachcomber Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed at Beachcomber's many times and love it! They have 2 dog park's and usually we are alway's given our request of staying directly across from the park. I believe they have 2 large pools, although we only use the one by the lake, which is also a swimming lake and beach. You don't have to drive to the ocean beach since they already have one of their own. We camped at Beachcomber Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice place. We were here for Halloween. They put on a nice weekend. My 2 boys loved it and my older son said he had a great time on the hay ride. Nice sites. The concrete pads were nice. Not bad to get in and out with a 34' rig. Already have plans to come back next year. We camped at Beachcomber Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.
