We were invited to visit friends' cabin . They made arrangements with office & paid $18 for us. Rude front gate girl. She told us to go to office & bring drivers lic where we had to pay another $18 (total cost $36 just to visit). Roads were poorly marked. Cabins were squeezed so close to each other - Fire pit was right next to the next cabin. Our friends were so disapppointed with the setup & cabin was dirty when they got there. Their cost for a week was well over $700. Don't waste your money here. Best advice is to go to Beach Combers 1/2 mile down the road which is less expensive and much nicer. We camped at Holly Shores Camping Resort in a Cabin.

The park was nice for our week stay. The entrance could use more room for guests checking in while those guests already checked in are trying to get back into the park. Could also use more room for unhooking and hooking up your towed vehicle. The pool was nice and there is a 2 1/2 mile bike trail to Cold Springs Village right across the street. The site was gravel with a concrete pad for your chairs and picnic table. Cable hook up was also available at the breaker box. We would use this park again. We camped at Holly Shores Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed in a 31' Class C motorhome over Columbus Day weekend. The sites are VERY narrow and you are VERY close to neighbors. The resort advertised a hayride and other Halloween events. It became an excuse for chaos and madness all weekend, including some nut running around with a chainsaw to scare the "hayride." Roaming bands of unsupervised (loud) kids on skateboards and bikes. They do not enforce campground quiet hours. No management. We camped at Holly Shores Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

It is a tight space but was fine. I was able to get my 39' motorhome in the lot OK but to get to the lot it was very tight. The guy there was very helpful. Was there on Harley weekend which I didn't know but was very quiet still. Lots of tall trees and the acorns were starting to fall. Wish they included WiFi, which was the only down side. The service of the workers is excellent, but management is rude and disrespectful to camping guests. They claim to be dog friendly, but that is only if you have a dog that doesn't bark or like to play with other dogs. The owners are very unfriendly and do not act professional. I was a repeat customer who will not be returning. The campsites are very tiny and there is no privacy between campers. While it is convenient, its not worth the money and lack of professionalism. This is a beautiful, heavily treed campground with room for big rigs. Daily rates was $47/day and $77/day during the 3 day Memorial holiday. There is a large staff that is working all day long keeping the park beautiful. There are many seasonal rigs set up - many with additional beautiful landscaping. It is obvious the seasonals add value to this park. There are also rental cabins which are very nice. During the week the wifi was nice but not on the weekends. Beautiful two pools plus spa and all day and evening weekend activities for the kids. We were told kids activities are every day during the summer. We stayed through Memorial Day and the kids were respectful and not too noisy at any time. Close to shopping and restaurants. We just wish we could have stayed at this park longer and will definitely be back. We camped at Holly Shores Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

After staying at another camground in Cape May for the past few years, we decided to give Holly Shores a try over Labor Day weekend. Although there were a large number of seasonals, they were well-maintained and toward the back and sides of the property. The main thoroughfair was reserved for transients. All transient sites were well graveled and level, and most had a cement pad for setup. There was 6-10 feet of grass between sites, so we did not feel cramped at all. The sites were clean, and in fact we saw staff members sweeping the cement pads every time someone checked out. The pool was clean and heated, the bathrooms were modern and cleaned often, the camground constantly had activities going on, and the staff was very friendly. Overall we were very pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay here again. We camped at Holly Shores Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Decided to do a last minute trip since we had an open weekend. Very nice camp ground, mostly seasonal but a nice mix. We stayed in site M4 right along the main road. Due to configuration of our sites sewer connection and location of sewer hookup on our RV we came up short using our standard 20ft of hose. Just keep in mind if your trailer has a more forward sewer connection like ours does. The store had lots of things to choose from; however, they did not have any shirts over XL, would have bought one had they had larger sizes. Loved the wagon ride around the campground, driver did an amazing job of maneuvering around the tighter sections of the park. Lots of activities offered throughout our stay. We would definitely consider coming back to Holly Shores. We camped at Holly Shores Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Holly shores is no doubt a nice campground - clean, well kept, lots of trees, quiet at night, friendly staff. You could argue, that during peak season a back-in site with partial hook-ups is worth 70 bucks. You could also argue, that at this rate, showers (where the shower heads don't come out of the ceiling and where you can adjust the temperature) should be included as well as Wi-Fi and a washer load should cost maybe 2.5 instead of 3.5(!). Also, the Wi-Fi signal is weak in some areas of the park, so use the one hour free access to make sure it works on your site before wasting money. This place has written 'greed' all over it and I won't return. We camped at Holly Shores Camping Resort in a Truck Camper.

Nice Park. Very friendly staff. Requires a digital cable box, which they will supplied for a $10 deposit. We had Digital TV's, so we didn't need the box. Their cable system shut us down for a few hours when it detected no box - but it came back on. The showers were very clean, but they are Pay Showers. The sites are small and clean with cement pads and gravel, but still, very small. We would have no problem returning here. We camped at Holly Shores Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Park is nicely maintained. Roads and sites are gravel. Our site did require some leveling. Many, many trees but well trimmed to not be an issue. However, the roads and sites can be a little tight to maneuver. Sites have decent spacing. Park is mainly seasonals, but there is an area dedicated to transients. Wi-Fi is not free and was an issue during our stay. Park is close to Wildwoods and the boardwalk as well as other area attractions. Nice park, good value. Yes, we give this park a 10. OK, I'll justify that rating. Park is immaculate and extremely well maintained. The roads are paved and are wide enough for big rigs to navigate easily. We opt for a "premium" site here and it comes with a concrete pad and full hookups. I know, a lot of campgrounds offer this, but these premiums are scattered throughout the park and not just in one section, which to us is nice. The bathrooms are excellent; clean with pay for showers with plenty of hot water. They also supply hair dryers which is a really nice amenity. The store is well stocked with excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. There are amenities/activities for kids of all ages even teens, as well as adults, and they are endless. I personally do not participate, but it's there for the taking. The pool area is fantastic and is kept open even after "season" ends. It's not covered as soon as the last person gets out on Labor Day. This park stands out in a region where the mantra seems to be "Pay up and Shut up", "If you don't like it then leave". The hosts of this park are right in there with their employees smiling and doing whatever they can to see that their guests are enjoying themselves. I have never seen hosts of a park work so hard to produce great times for people. Thank you! As far as negatives, I really don't have any. This was our second visit; our first being smack in the middle of high season, and we have encountered no problems at all. We camped at Holly Shores Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

My wife & I stayed for one week (wished it was longer). Enjoyed express check in. Friendly workers. This resort is very nicely landscaped. Everything worked with no problems. We really liked this resort and will return. The resort is located very near Wildwood and Cape May which are nice shore resorts. The gave us a welcome package upon check-in (never got that before) that contained a lot of useful information. We camped at Holly Shores Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

It's a very pretty and (except for the showers) well maintained park. BUT at a premium price for RV, they charge extra for Wi-Fi and the showers are a quarter for 4 minutes, 2 of which of course the water is cold. The showers have too little space, not enough hooks to hang up your stuff, etc. Why such a potentially great place cheap out on the showers, and the Wi-Fi thing is very annoying, I do not understand. They seem to do 90% of it right but the 10% they don't is stupid and irritating. We camped at Holly Shores Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Rate based on off season mid-week (Sun - Thu) 5 night special at $164. 50 amp full hookups with limited cable TV. Place was real quiet in late Sept, but it makes a good base for seeing the area. Sites vary from tight to nice, so it can be hit or miss. Our Verizon broadband was also hit or miss, sometimes great other times constantly dropping the connection. Only real downfall was the laundry, nice clean machines, but no place to sit other than a bench outside (it was raining). Overall a good bet for the area.
