We stayed here for three nights while geocaching in southern New Jersey. I had a little contact with the staff and I found them to be open and friendly. When we made our reservation, we asked for a site that would have decent Wi-Fi coverage, so they put us in 31 which was fairly close to the antenna. Thank you! We were not that concerned whether it was a back-in or pull-thru, and I would have rather had more shade, but since it rained the majority of the time we were there, it didn't really matter. And even with all the rain, our site drained as well as could be expected. The only problem we had during our stay was the late night get-together by some of our neighbors. At 11:30PM we had to get out of bed, get dressed, walk next door, and ask them to be considerate of the other campers who weren't interested in being up at that hour, and if they wanted to continue their party, they should take it inside, which they did. Other than the neighbors, it was very quiet and peaceful at night. I did use the restroom on our way out to wash my hands after we dumped the tanks and connected the toad. I didn't do a close inspection, but they appeared to be clean and they didn't smell. If in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate staying here. We camped at Country Oaks Campground in a Motorhome.

Bathrooms are dirty and if you're not in an R.V. club or a seasonal site, the owners will act like they don't need you. If you go to them with a problem they just say oh well. If it rains your site will be flooded. We camped at Country Oaks Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here a few days on our way to New England in May. Location was great to visit the Jersey shore in every direction. Camp workers were extremely friendly and helpful. They knew a lot about the area and guided us to fun things to do and fantastic fresh markets. Pool was beautiful, they offered lots of activities to do and store was stocked well. A little early in the season but flowers were in bloom all around and would definitely return. We have a MH so didn't need to use the facilities. We had a nice pull-through with full hookups. Overall Rating:

We stayed 6 days in the nice pull-thru sites in the front of the park, in close proximity to the playground and pool, which was great for families with kids. The laundry was also nearby, and it was clean and well-maintained. The camp store is small but well-stocked. There is a nice game room, which thankfully our kids did not learn about until the last day: instead they spent lots of time biking and playing.

There are a lot of permanent sites and regulars, therefore is quite busy and a little rowdy on the weekend. Our biggest issue was with the bathrooms, which they desperately need to update. The showers have a push-button style that is awkward and they really need to put a screen door on the bathrooms! We avoided the bathrooms as much as possible and used our camper instead, which was usual for us. We camped at Country Oaks Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Bring a screen tent as there are a lot of flies. Plan to swim as the pool is huge and well maintained.

This is one of the few campgrounds in our home state that we continue to visit. It is small, but everyone, staff and seasonals, is friendly. The pools are in pristine condition and there is a snack bar as well. The activities for kids and adults are numerous. Horseshoes is very popular with the men here as well. Most of the sites are shaded. It is always quiet. We camp here two to three times a year. A great place to ride bikes as well--it is small and flat. However, the roads are not paved. The playground is kept in good condition as well. We already have reservations to return again. We camped at Country Oaks Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Great little local campground. Very small but has a beautiful pool and lots of activities for the kids. Has good snack bar at the pool.

The seasonal folks are very friendly as are all of the staff. Not a big Nature trail type place, just good for a nice weekend and some horseshoes. Mostly very flat so biking is easy, stone roads though. They have some pull through premiums near the pool, but not too close.

We go at least once per year here. We camped at Country Oaks Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Clean, level campground with a number of seasonal sites. Friendly owners who offer wagon rides for the kids. The biggest problem are the bathhouses which need attention. Push button shower only gets warm and shuts off quick, plenty of cobwebs and leaves in unheated shed. We camped at Country Oaks Campground in a Motorhome.

We continue to return to this campground and will now return more frequently. Although our site was large, unfortunately, there was only one tree. However, we were still able to find enough sun. The pool is large with a snack bar on the deck. Twice daily hayrides and activities continue to even keep my teens busy. Staff is friendly and helpful. No problems with noise from seasonals on this holiday weekend. There were little teeny tiny kids running all over, unsupervised, through sites, etc. This problem was addressed by staff and rules for the wagon ride changed due to this. Kids under 5 need supervision. Not unreasonable to me. Seasonals are always friendly and enjoy watching my children grow each year. Nice playground as well. My only problem was the kids running through campsites, unsupervised at the pool, and the toddlers running amok. We camped at Country Oaks Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Park entrance appears nice but quickly stops. Sites are small with bad electric. Play park is small with outdated equipment. Pool was crowded with no supervision. Staff was horrible. Roads are dirt and potholed. Dead trees looming all over the place. You could hear them cracking. Tons of old moldy seasonal sites. Miles from anything. Many miles from the nearest beach. Would never return. We camped at Country Oaks Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a great campground. My family loved our stay here. There was something for everyone in our group to do. The teens played basketball and beach volleyball. There were plenty of other teens for them to hang out with. The younger children loved the flashlight candy hunt, hayrides, and crafts. All of us had a blast at the Night at the Races event and dance. The pool is gorgeous and very clean. There is also plenty of room around the pool to sit and put your things. Our site was shaded and easy to get into. We camped in a pull-through site. We had a nice concrete patio on our site; not something you get very often. The campground is quiet even on a busy weekend. We had a minor problem with our trailer and the staff was very helpful. They even deliver firewood right to your site. We will definitely be back. We camped at Country Oaks Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We have been here several times in the last few years, but this is the first time on a holiday weekend. This park was almost filled to capacity but there were no problems with noise. The owners and seasonals were very friendly as well. We love the twice daily hayride around the park and many activities. Pool was clean but cold after all the rain and there is a snack bar in the pool area. The sites are a shaded and a nice size with a few pull throughs. The roads have fresh gravel down to make bike riding easy. There is a camera in the playground and pool area if you want to keep an eye on your kids. We will return again. This is a great CG. Owners and employees are friendly and helpful. CG is well kept and a great pool with a kiddy pool. Nice camp store with a snack shack at the pool. Wagon rides. Lot of seasonals but everyone is friendly. Sites are nice size and shaded. Would definitely recommend this CG. We camped at Country Oaks Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great campground. We have camped here before and always enjoy our stay. The facilities are always clean, and the pool is crystal clear. My kids love the activities and the staff (even the guys that run the hayride are fun). The sites are spacious and defined with posts and shrubs. The other campers and seasonals were friendly. I would recommend this campground and we will definitely be back. r. We camped at Country Oaks Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This park suffers from a common trend on this website, review bias. Just because a campground has full hookups and a pool does not mean it gets 9-10 stars. After reading the reviews on this site we were looking forward to our stay at the park. When combined with the high daily and weekly rate our expectations were pretty high. Driving up to the entrance the park appears clean and well kept but after checking in the gravel entryway fades in the rear view mirror as you are led into the dirt (not gravel or sand just dirt) and trees. I mention trees because there are a good amount of them, not so many to be overwhelming, but they are located in the most inopportune locations. This is a good park for the locals who use it as a campground on the weekends and the seasonal who stay for the summer. This is not a good over night park or vacation park for visiting local beaches. Cell service is bad throughout the park. Verizon only works with a repeater and is still weak. Water quality is so-so. Electricity was good. Pool is not well kept and they have really weird hours for use. Park allows campfires which is great if you like burning things but is not good if you do not like being smoked out. We camped at Country Oaks Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
