The sites are large and wide, with sandy soil and lots of trees. We didn't use the restrooms or laundry but I did investigate and they were spotless. Pool was closed as it was end of season. The store is well stocked with friendly staff. My grandchildren did visit and joined in on crafts, a hayride and trick or treating. Very restful and peaceful at night. We camped at Butterfly Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a nice campground with wooded sites and nice large roads. Our site was large and private but sand. I know its south jersey but I can do without the sand it gets everywhere. The office staff was nice. The pool looks nice. Mini golf was fun and the lakes are nice. There is some good hiking trails in the back that were wide and well marked. We camped at Butterfly Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Fantastic family run park and the family cares. Great Christmas in July weekend - the elves brought a gift to my grandson at the rv. Super friendly and clean campground. There was always someone around if you needed help. Delicious bbq and ice cream sundaes. We will be back. We camped at Butterfly Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

The staff here were very friendly. We had a slight mixup upon arrival but we were given a site with full hookup. The site we were in was a little small but nicely separated from our neighbors. All of the sites are well shaded, but this makes it difficult to park a trailer. They are very strict with one vehicle per site and will not permit you to even park in an empty site. The activites we attended were well organized and started on time. We did not use the pool but it looked very clean. We already have reservations to return for Halloween. We camped at Butterfly Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We stayed two weeks in late September, and our trailer must have been pelted by 1000 acorns (no exaggeration, about 1 every 5 minutes) during our stay, and MANY during a storm one night. We need wifi for our jobs and it was not solid, dropping out 4-5 times per day, sometimes for 15 mins or more, and we were within 50 ft of the access point. Roads and sites are mainly dirt, and they get very messy when it has rained recently. We longed for grass or a better/bigger mat to wipe our feet on. Staff is very nice, and the campground is VERY quiet compared to others on the weekend. Seems like it's about 15 mins to get anywhere except to the gas station, but it's a nice quiet place. We camped at Butterfly Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground was recommended to us by our RV tech who had been working on doing some upgrades to our motor home. It did not disappoint. The road in is wide with no overhanging trees. The road to our site was also easy to navigate. And the site we had, one of two pull thru sites was actually almost perfectly level. All utilities were easy to reach making hookup a breeze. There was plenty of room to extend both slides. The WiFi was not working when we first arrived but a call to the office and it was corrected immediately and we never had a problem after that. The staff in the office were pleasant, polite, and professional. The price we felt was high, but since this was our first "shake down" run with our recently purchased motor home we were willing to pay it. We'll definitely stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at Butterfly Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

This park has really narrow gravel roads; we were told to NOT go one way as i'd hit a tree!! With the number of trees in this park (NOT a resort as the sign advertises) why not just cut it down?? We ended up in the one "pull through" site based on the length of our 41' fifth wheel. Good thing as most of the sites are way too short. Anybody hooking up their trailer as they were leaving? were sticking out into the road so you couldn't pass until he was gone. Dumb! Our "30 AMP" power could not even handle our smaller AC unit, first time in about 50 parks I've been to. I asked a worker who was driving by in a cart, he explained that the owners were "upgrading" the sites to 50 Amp. NOT! there was no sign of any upgrading as I drove through the whole park. The sewer pipe was sticking out of the ground way too high; with my supports under the hose, I still had 4" of uphill climb for my sewer. This park is not worth $63.00; should be in the $30 range. Not impressed with this "resort". We camped at Butterfly Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The price reflects a month's stay. Stay was wonderful. Sites are all sand. Lots of activities on weekends. Park is chuck full of trees. We stayed a month as it was the closest park to our son in Brooklyn an hour 15minutes away. The sites are very spacious. We camped at Butterfly Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for a weekend while visiting Six Flags. This is a small campground. Pull thru sites were OK but all other sites were very small and would not have accommodated our motorhome. Wifi and cable were good (and free). Pool was nice. Bathrooms were very clean and looked pretty new. Campground was a 15 minute drive to Six Flags. Lots of restaurants nearby and also close to outlets. We'll definitely stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at Butterfly Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

This park was a pleasant surprise. We needed a two night stop to visit relatives in area. Our site was very large #48. The common areas were well maintained. Has a gorgeous pool (although we had no time to use) hours 10 am - 6 pm. Bathrooms very clean. Camp store well stocked w/camping as well as groceries. We camped in our 40' fifth wheel and could manuever through park even with mature trees. We would definitely stay here again- not fancy, just right. Campground is very quiet. Also very empty. I do not know if this is normal or if it picks up in the summer months. Campsites are very small but private with greenery in between. They do not have very many planned activities for the kids and the pool hours are very short 10a-6p. We stay here annually because of its close proximity to the raceway but we would not stay here if we were looking for a regular camping weekend. Clean park and kept up very well. It has seasonals and that scares us away from some parks but these were clean and well kept. Not a bunch of bling on display. The site we had was tight to back in with the trees and obstacles. I was alone at the time so a nice challenge. Nice set up for kids with a playground and hay ride. Water pressure was low during our stay. We camped at Butterfly Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean sites, the young man who takes care of the grounds works very hard and does a great job! However, the washrooms had some flaws, no soap in the men's washroom the whole two weeks we stayed, only soap in one container in the ladies room, their toilet tissue is the worst, it tears at each single sheet and I know that sounds silly, but the floor is littered with toilet tissue and it was frustrating. The pool closes officially at 6pm which was a bit stressful if you were trying to get back from outings in time for your kids to swim. However, they will keep it open till 8pm but after 6pm it can close at their discretion. I never understand that as the pool is such an important feature for families. Why limit it especially when paying $60 per night. Also, their miniature gold is $4 per person and my kids paid and left midway through as it was not the best. I don't think they should describe themselves as a resort as there was nothing going on the whole time we were there, but we could have missed it too. Also, the staff are friendly enough, but their signs are a tad bit sarcastic. Oh, and their pool is really lovely, large, clean and heated so that was nice! We did feel quite far from things even though we chose this as it was within proximity to beaches, cities, etc. The long country roads and many lights along the way made the travel seem longer. We camped at Butterfly Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is heavily wooded (we were in the shade almost all day long), clean and well maintained. The sites feel a little cramped/crowded but that's because there are so many trees. We stayed in a 37' motorhome and it was a bit tight when driving and maneuvering through the park. The rate we paid ($41) is discounted due to the purchase of two Six Flags tickets. We chose a 50-amp pull-through with water but no sewer, since we were only staying three nights and could use the dump station on the way out. There are quite a few seasonal campers set up with decks/patios/etc. for the season. The free Wi-Fi was often unusably slow. Also, both AT&T and Verizon had very poor signals - we had to use our cell booster to get our hotspot working. We'll stay here again if we revisit Six Flags, but otherwise the non-discounted price ($60) would be pretty high for us for 50-amp full hookups. We camped at Butterfly Camping Resort in a Motorhome.
