Let's try again. Two days prior to arrival, I called to arrange a "Package"; one night at the "Full Hookup" RV park, 2 breakfast, 2 passes to Acoma Pueblo (Primary reason for visit), and a $16 voucher for lunch at the Pueblo. A great deal it would seem. I was told to pull into the park, select a site, and proceed to the hotel to register (The RV park is unmanned). I pulled in at dusk, proceeded to set up before it got dark, and found ALL the water and electric boxes were padlocked. So I ran all my electrical and water adjacent to the hookups, disconnected, and drove over to the hotel. At this time, the rude and unapologetic desk clerk informed me that the water was turned off for the winter, and I needed to give a $10 key deposit to unlock the power box. I think the sewer connection was locked too. Seriously? That would have been good to know before the reservation was made. In addition, the bathhouse is also closed. No water, and no bathhouse...In a FHU RV Park? Voicing my displeasure, I was informed that the truck stop across the street had showers. This RV park is a mere afterthought meant simply to lure gamblers who apparently have limited hygiene needs. While the park was neat, it was near deserted, with only 2 other units there. The entrance road, adjacent to the park is disgusting, with trash lining the roadway. Skip this place, unless you don't care, that they don't care. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Park has easy pull through access for almost any length RV. No shade but very well organized with all services working well. Restroom/showers are spotless and like new. Walking path to casino has solar lighting. No registration at the office building so you have to go all the way back to the casino. Make sure to fill out the membership card ahead of time to get the $16 rate, otherwise $22 like we paid. Casino food OK but you may want to disconnect and drive to the restaurant depending on your condition. No other food close. and we walked two dogs on leash without any problem. Interstate noise not bad as you are a quarter mile or more away. Sites are nice and level. Excellent for overnight and location for Acoma exploration. Good to pick a site close to the showers/rest rooms as the sites at the far end require about a two minute walk. Again, this depends on your condition and the weather.
Cable TV with so-so reception and images. Free wi-fi with average speed but occupancy was very light. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here once before and the main thing that has changed is that you must check in at the hotel. This is always a pain. The RV park building that used to have a check in desk still has the desk but it was not manned when we were there. This building also contains a nice lounge with a large screen TV and the bathrooms and showers. They were clean and adequate for a park with all FHU sites. The roads in the park are asphalt/gravel and all the sites are pull though with long (maybe 60-70'), 12' wide gravel pads. There are 3 rows of sites and they are separated by a large (about 60'X20'), curbed gravel filled island that contains the hook ups. The cable TV is about 25 channels and the listing in the check in area does not match the channels. There are no trees of any size, so it appears that all sites are satellite friendly. Our site in the middle row was reasonably level and the others looked level. There were only about a dozen sites taken the night we were here so the Wi-Fi was pretty good. We were disconnected a couple time but could usually get back on within minutes. I seem to remember there being at least one washer and dryer in the RV park building but that is no longer the case. They have built a laundromat over at the travel center/gas station. It is a long walk or a short drive. Don't plan on doing laundry here - just the washers were $3.75! I saw no sign of any recycling. There are no recreational or other facilities/amenities in the RV park. Evidently, you can use the casino hotel's pool and some other facilities there. If all you want is a cheap FHU site with OK cable TV and Wi-Fi, this is a good overnight stop. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a great place to stop for a night or two when travelling across New Mexico. The service here is excellent. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Watch out if you are in the casino at shift change, though. Everything stops while one shift closes out and the new shift takes over. That is not a good time to need a ride to/from the casino. Otherwise, the service is very prompt. The sites are spacious and there is plenty of room for parking a vehicle and trailer. The food in the casino wasn't too great on Asian buffet night, but the items ordered from the menu looked good. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Casino RV park. Excellent layout and good utilities but no dog park. Beware- Burrs will penetrate tennis shoes. Walk dogs on gravel only. Casino Buffet is really bad. Need to check-in at casino to get keys to padlocked utilities and return keys to casino when leaving. Great for overnight stay if you don't have dogs and aren't hungry. As others have suggested, this park makes a nice stopover or convenient place to camp while visiting Acoma Pueblo. Sites are long and level w/FHU, including 50 amp service. Truck stop, casino and restaurant are close by. A great value. Complimentary WiFi and clear skies for satellite. Though right off I40, the park was very quiet. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Motorhome.

The real value in this location is an easy on and off I-40 when traveling. There is really nothing here except the casino and truck stop. That being said, Cable, WiFi and Water were just fine. At $18 per night it would be difficult to give a bad review. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Walk across the street to the Casino for a meal. The night we were there was "Steak" night. Unlimited steak buffet, salad, desert and non-alcoholic drinks for $13.99. Really great food. Other nights are "Prime Rib" night.

This is a good spot for an overnight stop off of I-40 or as a base to visit Acoma Pueblo. The spots were all nice level pull-throughs. The showers were very clean. There was nice spacing between the sites, but no privacy because it is a desert campground with small bushes & no trees for shade.

Our only problem/complaint is that there is no one staying on-site overnight or a closed gate to prevent people from sneaking in late at night and making lots of noise. We had this happen to us our first night and hoped that security would come by and take care of it, but they didn't and we had to ask the people to keep it down around midnight.

There is a great package deal for RVers who want to visit the Acoma Pueblo. The food at the Cultural Center was great, but the breakfast buffet at the Casino was disappointing. Both are included in the package. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good value for easy on and off I-40 and overnigh stay .Nothing here except the casino and truck stop. Cable was bad and need a connector from office, WiFi not acceptable. Electric and ater were just fine but needed a key to unlock and fined if keys are not returned. At $18 per night it would be difficult to rate any higher. Do not expect prompt service. This is a nice campground. They have all nice long pull thru sites that allow big rigs to stay hooked up. They have 50 Amp FHU available. The park is clean and tidy. ATT & Verizon work well. Plenty of clear sky for satellite set up (no trees). Restrooms are clean. No train or Hwy noise. Free WiFi works. Internal roads are paved and pads are paved. Sites are well spaced. Casino is an easy walk and the Buffet is OK. Easy On/ Off the I-40 as this is also a truck stop. Must say you seen the sign to get $18 rate. Really only a one night park as nothing else here. Will stay again. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

What a sweet deal. There is a billboard on the interstate that advertises $18. for FHU's and they honor that rate if you mention it or they also honor Good Sam. With that you also get a coupon for a free Starbucks specialty coffee for two ($3.69 value) and a free roll ($1.00 value) in the morning, so effectively knocking $9.38 off your night's stay. The park is nicely laid out and no problems with hookups. It is a short distance from the casino, but within walking distance. Sign up for player's club and get $2.00 off the breakfast or supper buffet. Clean facility with friendly staff and we wouldn't hesitate staying here again. Casino campground within easy walking distance and has full service facility for any size RV. Very clean park with beautiful view of mountain range. All hookups worked good as did cable.
