Very open lot with no trees or wind protection. Each space is large gravel and surrounded by large curbing.making it just about large enough for rv width. On sides there were small pea type gravel areas that were all full of dog feces. I had to clean ours up completely so our dogs could use it without having to walk on it all. There is no dog area. Lot of space between RVs. All sites are pull thru. They give you key at check in to unlock electric and water box. They have a 24hr shuttle back and forth to the casino, just call, give space number & they pick you up. Their casino restaurant food wasn't pleasant at all. I would only stay here again if I was in the area and needed to stop. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Everyone we met at the rv park and casino were extremly freindly and made us feel welcome. The park is about ten years old and the asphalt roads show a lack of maintenance. There is no landscaping or anything to try to make the place look better. All sites are pull through and utilities are well placed for motorhomes. We only used electrical which worked well. Cable only had one very poor channel. Security patrols seemed continuous and doubled as a shuttle. We never waited more than a minute after calling before one pulled up. This is a good overnight stop and we will stop again when going through. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The park roads were gravel and easily maneuverable with a 36' DP motorhome. There was a cable TV connection, which worked very well. The water was easy to connect to, and the water pressure was sufficient. The RV parking pad was gravel and was in great condition. The WiFi access point connection was fine, and the internet bandwidth was decent but not great. Verizon cell signal was 2 out of 5 bars. We don't use restrooms or showers, and there was no pool, so we can't render an opinion on those items. We did not notice any significant road noise, but noise like that doesn't bother us anyway. The price was EXTREMELY good for a full hookup site, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was that we put out a dog fence that comes right up to the RV, and there was an angled curb around the pad itself, which made setting up the fence difficult but not impossible. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park has a nicely laid out spaces with gravel all about. There are a few bushes but you have to remember you are in a desert here. The shower rooms are big with huge showers and a john and vanity. Very clean. The cable tv has about 30 channels and the internet works well. This is a great bargain! There is a full service restaurant in the Casino - hotel and a McDonald's across the street in the gas station. About a 1/2 mile from the interstate so the noise isn't too bad even though there is lots of traffic.

Great overnight stay. Discount for players card. No attendant when we checked in, so security shuttled us to the hotel. No problem, all went well. We requested they open the showers as we left early. Again extremely accommodating! Large pull thru sites. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is our third time here. See my 10/16 review for a better description of the park. Check in is still at the hotel. As usual we had a FHU, pull through site with cable TV. The Wi-Fi is still "iffy". The bathrooms were clean. I still do not see any recycling. This was a better park when it was staffed and had laundry facilities. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Level, long gravel pull through sites. Utilities good with cable. Nice view. Wonderful Bathhouse. Shuttle to casino, but walkable. Tell them you saw the $18 billboard, or they will charge more. Intended to stay only one night, but liked it so we stayed 2. All sites are NE facing. Friendly people. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Motorhome.

A great overnight stop. The clubhouse and facilities look like brand new and are extremely neat and spotlessly clean. Contrary to other postings the facility now seems to have an attendant - at least during the day. Enjoy the restaurant and facilities at the hotel/casino if you wish; it's an easy walk or they will send a van to pick you up. Sit outside and enjoy the mountain views to the north. Oddly, there are not picnic tables at the sites. A great value. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Great two day stop just off I-40 on our way back east. The sites were level and the electricity was stable. Wifi also was pretty good for an RV park. It was off season so the water was not available at the site but was at the office. Since we were only there 2 nights we didn't need it. Also as mentioned before you registered at the hotel office. There was no park attendant. No big deal, you just phoned and they picked you up. Great buffet meals at the casino for a reasonable price. We had the prime rib buffet on a Monday. It was great. We would use this as an overnight (or 2 night) rest stop again. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Let's try again. Two days prior to arrival, I called to arrange a "Package"; one night at the "Full Hookup" RV park, 2 breakfast, 2 passes to Acoma Pueblo (Primary reason for visit), and a $16 voucher for lunch at the Pueblo. A great deal it would seem. I was told to pull into the park, select a site, and proceed to the hotel to register (The RV park is unmanned). I pulled in at dusk, proceeded to set up before it got dark, and found ALL the water and electric boxes were padlocked. So I ran all my electrical and water adjacent to the hookups, disconnected, and drove over to the hotel. At this time, the rude and unapologetic desk clerk informed me that the water was turned off for the winter, and I needed to give a $10 key deposit to unlock the power box. I think the sewer connection was locked too. Seriously? That would have been good to know before the reservation was made. In addition, the bathhouse is also closed. No water, and no bathhouse...In a FHU RV Park? Voicing my displeasure, I was informed that the truck stop across the street had showers. This RV park is a mere afterthought meant simply to lure gamblers who apparently have limited hygiene needs. While the park was neat, it was near deserted, with only 2 other units there. The entrance road, adjacent to the park is disgusting, with trash lining the roadway. Skip this place, unless you don't care, that they don't care. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Upon entering from I 40, only one sign as where to go. Not enough info. Parked and walked into main lobby. There on the desk top were instructions to park in the RV Park, call a number, and someone would come and pick you up for registration. How would you know this? $18/ nite, no map as to your site, no instruction to sign. Told no water at site. At the RV clubhouse, (closed for the winter) you could fill with freshwater. Cable was terrible. There were dog droppings everywhere. If you went into the casino and registered with the casino, you would get a discount card for the RV Park ($16.50). Ate at the restaurant, the best thing about stopping here. $13.50 with card for Buffet. (prime rib was delicious). Only stop here for one night and dinner!! All sites are pull-thru's. The park is about a quarter mile from the casino. Make sure to go to the casino and get a membership in the "player's club" so you get the $4 discount. We didn't but would have been nice. There is a well marked path to the casino but a sign warning about the rattlesnakes in the area. The restrooms, showers were spotless. Easy drive through access for any sized coach. Sites are well done but there is no shade so could be hot in the summer. Not many other RVs in the park when we visited. Restaurant in the casino is not bad but no Michelin star either. No other restaurants in the immediate area. The park is far enough away from I-40 so you don't get highway noise. Retract awnings if visiting Sky City as the winds can come up quickly with approaching storms. The park is large so no problem to park so you have space between you and the next camper. We camped at Sky City RV Park in a Motorhome.
