Outstanding RV park! The owners are extremely nice and accommodating. WiFi was blazing, water pressure excellent. We stayed the month, thus the "nightly rate". We will most definitely be back! We camped at Eagle Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

While the rigs are parked in very close to each other, it is very shady and there's lots of green. The creek that flows across the front of the property is terrific. There is a very strong sense of community among those who come here, evidently each summer. We enjoy a bit of that but at times it was a little "too" friendly for us, as some solitude is partly what we seek. Not enough walking trails within the property but you have great access to the national forest immediately out of the gates. We camped at Eagle Creek RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

A visit up the mountian in the national forest to Monjeau Lookout is a must-do! We return to Ruidoso regularly to especially visit this amazing CCC structure and the 360 degree views of the mountains. A second site is Ski Apache's ski lift that runs all summer - love the road up there as well, with pull-out areas for panoramic and amazing picture-taking opps.

Overall Rating:

Absolutely beautiful campground! Staff is super friendly and we enjoyed our time there. I do wish they had showers, but I am not complaining. My only concern was the entrance and getting my fifth wheel parked. If you miss the entrance, there is only one turn around about a 1-2 miles up the road, if you miss that you will be driving all the way to Ski Apache (10+ miles) on a steep winding road. Once inside the park, the host escorted us right to our spot and helped us get situated. Thank goodness because things were a little tight when we first got into the park. We will definitely be staying again especially since the park is so close to the baseball fields where our son plays. We camped at Eagle Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Very clean and well-maintained campground. Wi-fi was very good and cell coverage was decent. Several over-the air local TV stations worked as well. The spaces are wide and level with nice gravel throughout the park. The gated entry is very nice and adds to the security. Our only major complaint is the sites available for short-term campers are in the west side of the park where there are very few trees. The east side has a much better forest feel, but most of these sites were occupied by season-long campers. We camped at Eagle Creek RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

I'd give this park a 10 if they had restroom/shower facilities. But, since most RVs are self contained that makes little difference. Extremely friendly, accommodating owners and hosts. Very well maintained park. Almost all gravel, but most sites are set in the trees. Our site was mostly level; easy to level our trailer. The RVers here are mostly returnees every year. Most spend all summer here - very friendly people. We stayed a week, paid for 6 days and got the 7th day free. Wi-fi worked perfectly, never a dropped connection, which is important to us, since I work on the road, on line. We look forward to returning here. We camped at Eagle Creek RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Hiking, biking, shopping in Ruidoso, horse racing in season at Ruidoso Downs, loads of geocaches in the area, gambling casinos (if that's your thing), short drive to Cloudcroft, Alamogordo, Corozizo (cherry cider - yum), White Sands Nat'l Monument.
