It has been several years since we were here and it is just as cute, clean, and relaxing as before. Limited spaces for 45 footers, wifi is extremely weak, and ATT service is iffy at best. Mostly older crowd with dogs galore so everybody is super friendly. Have not seen the deer or elk yet but looking forward to them roaming the park early and late. Best park in the Ruidoso area for big rigs. We camped at Little Creek RV Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure to eat at the Cattle Baron steakhouse.

This quiet park caters mainly to older, seasonal visitors. My spacious site that I was able to secure for a week was a temporarily vacant seasonal spot that featured a large landscaped concrete patio and a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The owner and guests were all very friendly. AT&T cell service was a little spotty and WiFi was not the best. This was one of the nicest stays I've had at an RV park. We camped at Little Creek RV Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to do, or see, in the Ruidoso area. Hiking in the White Mountain Wilderness area afforded some spectacular mountain views. Day trips to Lincoln, Capitan, historic Fort Stanton, Valley of Fires and Three Rivers Petroglyph site were also enjoyable.

We moved here from another local campground that we just felt too "squeezed" in. The curb appeal of Little Creek RV Village is fabulous. The staff bent over backwards to find a site for us as they were fully booked. But with the help of a loaned extension cable we ended up in a wonderful private space overlooking green rolling hills and pine trees. Level gravel sites. Clean laundry facility. Showers were closed due to drought in the area though. AT&T phone service just one blip so spotty, but free wi-fi and cable tv connection worked fine. Nice pet walk area leads to a fenced pet run. We booked another night we liked our spot so much. We camped at Little Creek RV Village in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for a week in the middle of August. Definitely would stay here again. Small, well kept, with wide access roads and ample room between spaces (except for ours - see below), far enough away from noise of Ruidoso, close enough to get to town in reasonable time. Easy big rig access, over 55. Filled with dog lovers. Nearly all spaces taken during the high season by seasonal Class A rigs, only one 50 amp available to short-term like us. Several 30 amp spaces are usually open, however, all back up to a painted wood fence with some sort of light manufacturer on the other side. On some days every space was taken. Call ahead; we made our reservation a month in advance and still were faced with a possible move in the middle of our stay. The Wi-Fi is now 'free' but where we stayed the signal was too weak to be useful. Verizon data gave us 3 bars. We stayed in #61 with a 34' rig, backed up to the dry creek and wonderful views (good). Very very very tight (25' wide with obstruction), so if you are unsure of your back-in skills you probably should avoid this particular space. We camped at Little Creek RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

It's a very nice park. Clean, friendly, and beautiful area. Many of the sites are long term but there were plenty of daily sites available. Nice concrete pads with picnic benches at each site. Gravel roads and gravel sites. There's a fenced pet area available also. We camped at Little Creek RV Village in a Travel Trailer.

Very large spaces with decent spacing and turning radius when backing into the back in sites. A friendly lady who owns the park and registers guests. No escort to the site and wi-fi is not free or included. $4.95 for 24hours and $17.95 a week extra for Wi-Fi. Some road noise and many people have yappy dogs which they seem to think is cute. We had our own Verizon air card, so can not comment on the quality of paid Wi-Fi. Verizon seemed to have a strong signal from this park while other carriers were not as dependable. Good cable TV, strong water pressure, and good electrical power. My price reflects a longer term stay, as there are many long term rigs in this park. We camped at Little Creek RV Village in a Motorhome.

Overall this is an OK park. Roads are dirt, as are the parking spots. Our park spot was neither flat nor level. Had to reposition after steps wouldn't open. Trees are planted where they provide shade but interfere with satellite reception. The area is beautiful and this is the nicest park we saw. We would stay here again. We camped at Little Creek RV Village in a Motorhome.

Peaceful, low key campground. Staff was extremely helpful and kind. Tidy grounds. Mostly made up of extended stay retirees. Facilities were top notch. Plenty of elbow room. No TV reception in this area without cable, so be sure to bring coax so you can enjoy free cable. Spots are long and accommodate the big rigs well. If you're more interested in the feel of a state park or rugged campground, you might consider other options. If you're looking for a smaller, resort feel, this is a nice choice. We camped at Little Creek RV Village in a Travel Trailer.

What a wonderful place to camp. Spent 4 days there and plan on returning. The lady who owns it is wonderful and very helpful. My ONLY complaint is the people who have dogs, (Yes, we have one and brought him), is that they DON'T always pick up their droppings, even though there are signs posted all over. People with little dogs think it is no big deal, but it is. Can't tell you how many times I almost stepped in it. Otherwise the campgrounds and site are wonderful; can't wait to go back! Stay here every summer. Good campground in this area. Several sites are now seasonal. One seasonal site is a spectacularly upgraded and locked up for 10 years. Wish WI-FI was free/better, but that's my only complaint. We camped at Little Creek RV Village in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice comfortable park. Alto is at 7400 ft. which is the same as Santa Fe. If you are coming from the North, take 48 from Capitan. We camped at Little Creek RV Village in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park for a long stay. We stayed a month at the monthly rate of 385.00 plus electricity of about 180.00. Facilities are good. We had a nice paved and level site with a small tree and fire ring and table. We walked our dogs around the circle to the dog run, which is a good fenced area. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Washer and dryer area is clean and functional. We would stay here again when in the southwestern states. We camped at Little Creek RV Village in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here many, many times. But something has changed this year. More of the sites, and practically all the best sites are now "seasonal". We were relegated to the back row, narrow sites, unable to extend awning, and I made my July reservations in March! I would guess the park is now almost 50% seasonal and growing. Add to that the Wi-Fi has not changed from pay-extra while other campgrounds in the area are free Wi-Fi. It pains me to say it, but I think I can do better at one of the other area campgrounds. If you are a first timer, be sure you know and understand what kind of site you are getting. We camped at Little Creek RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

We were here for 3 weeks. Beautifully maintained park, premium sites are big but back ins. Creek is almost non-existant. Some of the sites have a great view from the rear which is great for fifth wheels. No cell phone coverage and wifi cost extra. About 8 miles to most things to do in Ruidoso. They have a great clubhouse but no planned activities and we only saw people using it once in the 3 weeks. Laundry room is super. Ad said hot tub but it had been taken out. Not sure if they plan to replace. We camped at Little Creek RV Village in a Motorhome.
