We came in at a very rainy period of time and the guys were great, they checked us in efficiently and helped us get situated. They even called us while on the road to warn us of active road construction and how to go around it, the scenic route!! We enjoyed that immensely. We will be planning another visit to RMR, site 17. We camped at Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch (Class A Motorhomes Only) in a Motorhome.

Beautiful, quiet location with wildlife viewing to enjoy. Hands on, friendly owners. Daily trash pickup at your site, hiking trails and access to Rainmakers and the racetrack Jockey club. WiFi was difficult to connect to. Local car rental company drop off/pick up service was convienent as we did not tow this trip. Can you say spoiled? This beautiful RV Resort will spoil you for life. Wide asphalt roads with extra large concrete pads and concrete patio areas with firepit and wrought iron rockers overlooking beautiful mountain views. Very relaxing and super quiet. The general manager was very accomodating and provided us, as first time visitors, much needed local information. Lots of offsite perks: use of nearby country club and race track private club. We will definitely come back. We camped at Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch (Class A Motorhomes Only) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed one month. Beautiful RV Resort atop hill in Alto, NM which is just outside of Ruidoso. All sites and streets are paved, large landscaped sites with gas fire pits. There is a beautiful clubhouse with laundry and shower facilities although we didn't use. Convenient to Ruidoso and area attractions. As a guest, you can use the Rainmakers Country Club for golf, exercise facilities and dining, we enjoyed lunch there. Also as a guest, you can use Ruidoso Downs Jockey Club on non-holiday weekends, we used and enjoyed a day at the races. Wonderful owners Jimmie and Lisa who were very accommodating to our needs. We enjoyed relaxing at the resort and watching the elk and deer wander through the resort. There is a hiking trail we used daily to walk our dog. There isn't another RV Resort in Ruidoso that compares to this one and the views from atop the mountain are gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again! We camped at Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch (Class A Motorhomes Only) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to do in the area - Spencer Theater is a mile away, we toured and went to a performance, amazing place. Lots of great restaurants and shopping. Horse racing close by. Beautiful drive to the mountain town of Cloud croft, best BBQ. Drove to Alamogordo and enjoyed the White Sands National Monument and White Sands Missile Range very interesting.

Overall Rating:

Beautiful RV Park with only 29 sites each with a view and privacy. The check in was easy and the couple who own the park where very nice and helpful. Because of it's small size and design it is easy to maneuver. Free washer and dryer but would guess that most of the coaches have washers and dryers. Wifi was excellent but there where only 3 of us in the park. From our site we saw about 10 elk and 25 mule deer fun to watch. The golf course lunch was good we would not want to drive there to use the pool or weight room but if that is important to you at least you have the option. A warning if coming west on 220 from the airport be very careful the turn is left and you are about half way down the hill and will sneak up on you go slow. Like others have said the water is very hard. They also provide chairs and a gas fire pit another nice touch. A great park and hopefully we can return soon. We camped at Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch (Class A Motorhomes Only) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We drove to White Sands monument about 1.5 hrs. it was packed because of Spring break in Texas but was still interesting. The area close to the park is beautiful and we also enjoyed the Smokey the Bear Museum.

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for the entire month of November and didn't want to leave! This was the most beautiful, relaxing and well-thought out RV park we have stayed in since we started full-time motorhoming last May. This park is small (29 spots) - fully paved and each site has a gas firepit and two nice rockers facing the gorgeous acreage that is part of the RV resort. It is the cleanest park and the clubhouse has a lovely outdoor grilling area with woodburning fireplace too. Every site has a beautiful view of the mountains, valley and wilderness. We rarely closed our window blinds as the view was so beautiful. There are the nicest bathrooms and showers in the clubhouse and the top quality laundry area is included in your fee. The most amazing part of this stay was the elk, deer, wild turkeys and birds we saw EVERY day! Sometimes they came up right outside of our coach! The owners of this motorcoach ranch are the most hospitable folks you could meet. They have thought of everything! The 40+ acres they own have nice trails for you to walk on and the whole area of Ruidoso and Alto is so beautiful. I just can't say enough about this place! Since it is so new (2nd season) we had the whole place to ourselves on some of the days we stayed here in November but that won't happen for long - this place will be one of the BEST IN THE US in no time! We camped at Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch (Class A Motorhomes Only) in a Motorhome.

This is probably the best RV Park that we have stayed. The owners are actively involved and hosted a dinner the first night we were there. Beautiful setting in the mountains and privileges at the Rainmakers Golf Club are highlights. We camped at Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch (Class A Motorhomes Only) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is definitely one of the nicest RV parks in which we have stayed! The owner and staff were wonderful. The gated park is only 2 years old and very nice with all paved surfaces. The way they have situated the sites, everyone gets a view! Each site has a fire pit with 2 rocking chairs. You can use your own grill as long as it is propane. There are no picnic tables, however they have a lovely outdoor kitchen which is for the use of all. One nice amenity is that they come by each site every morning to pick up trash.

The only disappointment was the WiFi. For some reason only 1 of the 4 people in our party were able to get on the internet the entire 4 days we were staying. Terrific place and we look forward to coming back sometime! We camped at Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch (Class A Motorhomes Only) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Ruidoso is a quaint little town with lots of cute shops. A perk of staying at RMR is that you get valet parking and entry to the Jockey Club at Ruidoso Downs racetrack. You also have use of the local golf course which time did not allow us to visit. We branched out to the nearby historic towns to take in a bit of history. The Hubbard Western Museum is also a terrific place to visit.

Very nice park. The owners make every effort to make you feel welcome and assist you with any questions about the area. This is by far the nicest park in the area. Only 29 sites, most are pull in with wonderful views. I highly recommend this park if you are staying in the Ruidoso area. This is a fantisic RV park, with only 29 sites and special attention to every detail. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into this park. They are wonderful people who wanted to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves and had what you needed. They provided a pizza dinner the first week we were there and a 4th of July cookout the following week. We were there 14 days and didn't want to leave. We had deer at our site everyday as well as rabbits and hummingbirds. This is the first park that we didn't have to cover our front window and could just enjoy the view of the mountains and trees. The sites are nice and large with a gas fire pit and chairs. We used the pass they gave us to the Jockey Club at Ruidoso Downs which was a really nice add on. We will definitely be returning to this park. We camped at Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch (Class A Motorhomes Only) in a Motorhome.

Peaceful location with beautiful views all around. The owners and the manager are friendly, gracious people. Small park with only 29 sites and if available you get to choose your site. Full hookups that all work well. Nice walking/hiking trail through back of park but not level so be sure and wear appropriate shoes. It was a bit difficult in my flip flops! We couldn't make satellite contact at our site so didn't have that but they do offer cable. Although there aren't many channels but more will come I'm sure when they get more access to connectivity. It IS the mountains after all. We saw deer everyday and if you like hummingbirds this is the place. We saw and heard them all over and got buzzed quite frequently when we wore red or colorful shirts. Loved it!! Fire pit in the cool evening was nice and it will be hard to return to 100 degree temps. I do wish the fire pit could be covered to convert to a table for easier outdoor dining. With a location this lovely you want to be outside as much as possible. Look forward to returning. We camped at Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch (Class A Motorhomes Only) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to do here and according to my husband one of the best and prettiest golf courses at Rainmaker. Access is granted to the private Rainmaker club where you can use the fitness room, dining, and golf. Also, Ruidoso Downs is not far and we were given access to the Jockey club. Fun day at the races! Restaurants and shops abound and we will need to return to see more of them. Just didn't want to leave the Ranch very much since it was so relaxing.

Wonderful sites, great scenery and awesome owners. Gated secure access. Level concrete sites with private patios with gas fire pits. Beautiful club house with laundry, showers and restrooms. Common area with fireplace, BBQ grill and plentiful seating. Our site overlooked a valley with awesome views and deer coming to the feeder every evening. Owners are super folks and live on site. Highly recommend. We stayed here in a 45 ft motorhome and had plenty of room for our tow vehicle. We camped at Ruidoso Motorcoach Ranch (Class A Motorhomes Only) in a Motorhome.
