Park is under relatively new management and is a work in progress. The cable TV is being revamped and the WiFi works without issue. There are many contract workers in the park but it is not noisy or unruly. The spaces set aside for overnight camping are all clean, wide and long. Overall, we will keep this park on file and will stay here again. We camped at El Paso-West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Anthony is a divided town, part in Texas and part in New Mexico. There are alot of good local restaurants and for an experience shop in LaFeria. It is a local Mexican style supermarket.

The prior posters have done a good job of describing this place so I don't have much to add except to agree with their reviews. We only stayed one night so didn't use any of the facilities. The one thing I would mention is that there was a smell of manure (at least I think that's what it was) in the whole area as we approached from the north. Couldn't smell it from our site, but I could smell it from the north end of the park when I walked the dog. It was very cold out, but I would be concerned about staying here in nicer weather when it's warm and you want to be outside. Tengo wi-fi didn't work very well, but had strong Verizon signal. Would stay again if I had to be in the El Paso area, I guess. Might be better choices though. We camped at El Paso-West RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Rating will depend upon site assigned. Was offered two sites and mistakenly did not pick the end site not next to a permanent. Had a long pull through between two other rigs, one an apparent permanent. The sites are narrow and as another reviewer noted, they alternate directions. The advantage is that you don't see your neighbors sewer hose when you walk out the door but you share the grass strip with your neighbor. My neighbor had his stuff in the yard and his mid-door 5th wheel door was pretty much directly across from my front motorhome door so you could almost walk into each other if you both exited at the same time. I had only pulled in far enough to clear the toad from the road since the shared utility strip has a nice centrally located sewer connect already used by my other neighbor and then another sewer connect at the far end requiring 30' or more of sewer hose depending upon how far forward you pull. Both coaches crowd the utility strip so it is tricky walking with your and your neighbors sewage, electrical, cable and water lines. So if you can get an end site you will avoid the disadvantages on one side. Other then my one neighbor starting his diesel truck at 4AM every morning everything was good including wifi, clean bathrooms, big shower rooms, good sized dog park and two picnic tables shared with your neighbor. Rate was with Passport America. We camped at El Paso-West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Considering this park is in the desert, there are shade trees throughout the park and just about at every site. the spaces are level and the grounds are clean. Restrooms and laundry are extremely clean and well kept. We camped at El Paso-West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If you enjoy true Mexican food the little town of Anthony has some authentic restaurants. Since the community is some 95% Hispanic culture you may feel at times you are in Mexico which is just a few miles away. The people are great and the grocery shopping is an experience.

The management at this park is excellent! He is a fountain of information about the area, told us where to shop, what to see in El Paso and in Mesilla, where to eat the best Mexican food, etc. He is also very entertaining! The park itself is quiet, neatly kept and the services all work very well. Our problem was with the layout of the pull-through sites. They were very narrow, and situated so that you and your neighbor's picnic tables faced each other...not acceptable! The laundry was very reasonably priced, clean, and even included an iron and ironing board, something I appreciated. We camped at El Paso-West RV Park in a Motorhome.

It is a very nice park, better than the one in El Paso, Texas, which is down the road a bit. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The only drawback is the cats that the permanent residents let run everywhere. If you have a dog be careful and keep them close. One of the guests lost a puppy that ran off after a cat and was unable to find it. We camped at El Paso-West RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park could use updating and better maintenance. Sites are pretty close, and could certainly use more gravel and tree trimming. It is tight for big rigs. Most of the sites are taken by long term residents and their sites could really use some serious policing to get rid of unsightly junk.

Limited dog walking because the area that looks like great walking space is loaded with stickers. I had to carry one dog out because as soon as I cleaned his paws he picked up 10 more stickers.

This place is ok for a night or two, but not longer. We camped at El Paso-West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our rate is based on the weekly rate. This is an old campground with few amenities. There is dog walk and the laundry and restrooms were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The limited cable TV service never worked beyond a few channels. There is no propane on site so you need to stop at the Flying J at the Texas/NM border on I-10 if you need fuel/propane. There is a feed lot about 1/2 mile north but as long as the wind wasn't blowing from that direction we didn't notice the odor. Park is mainly for monthly campers some of whom judging by their rigs and site clutter have been there for decades. The hosts were friendly and the park was quiet - no problems with the neighbors. It's a good spot to stay for day or week if you are in El Paso/Las Cruces (as we were) to tour the area. Another plus for this campground if you are passing through in summer is that there are plenty of shade trees. We camped at El Paso-West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is plenty to do in this area. If you like a world recognized steak house go to Fabens, TX (about 15 miles east of El Paso on I-10) and try the Cattlemen's Steakhouse. Besides the state parks, mountain tram, mission trail, La Mesilla, NM, the Warbirds museum, etc. you can easily burn up a week and still not see everything.

Friendly, helpful staff. Park has many full time campers, including apparent "working stiffs" but is neat and well maintained. Spaces are a little tight but maneuvering room is sufficient. We stayed two nights and would return. We camped at El Paso-West RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This RV park, located near I-10 and just a mile or so from the Texas state line, got good reviews and offered an Escapees discount so we decided to give it a try. It has several level pull through sites as well as back-ins located on the perimeter of the property. The clientele is a mixture of long term residents who are working in the area and short stay travelers like us. The pull through sites are “back to back” and long enough to allow tow vehicles to stay hooked up. The restrooms are modern and clean and the folks running the place are friendly and welcoming. We found the campground to be a bit noisy. Working people started their day early and overnight campers were anxious to get on the road. It just so happens that we were given the site right next to the dumpsters and we could smell them, not in our camper, but any time we were outside. All in all we would return to this place, but I think I’d lobby for a site a bit farther from the dumpsters. We camped at El Paso-West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Weekly rate. Located between Las Cruces and El Paso, 30 minutes each way. Very clean restrooms, good wifi, shade trees. Some sites are manicured, others aren't, but all are acceptable. Will stay here again. We camped at El Paso-West RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is an excellent place to use as a base for visiting Las Cruces, El Paso, and the Carlsbad Caverns. Although listed as family friendly, I would characterize this as a park for adults (versus family friendly) since there is no swimming pool or any activities for children on the grounds. There are trees on the property which make it far more attractive than the parks in Las Cruces. (We looked when we were up there.) Internet is included which is nice. But, don't expect it to be lightening fast; it isn't. The laundry rooms are VERY CLEAN. My wife really notices things like this and could not stop talking about how clean it was in the laundry. And the rates for washing and drying are EXTREMELY reasonable. We would certainly stop here again if we are in the area. Our rate is based on the $155 weekly rate which is a real deal for all you can see from this location. We camped at El Paso-West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Campground staff were very friendly and helpful. There are many trees on site. It was very quiet and many of the units seemed to be unoccupied at this time. Bathrooms and showers were immaculate. Internet was rocket fast! We camped at El Paso-West RV Park in a Motorhome.
