I guess this park would be okay if they only charged $20.00 per night. We were charged $37.40 a night with a discount. They say they have a indoor pool, but not now. Gravel and dusty and mostly permanent residents. Little on the run down side for the price. I guess we are just spoiled after our stay at Buckhorn Lake RV Resort in Kerrville, TX. But I guess their draw is they are the closest RV park to Carlsbad Caverns. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Price was for one night on PA and one with GS discount. Laundry OK. Good shower except for a faulty lock on the door. Seems expensive but management was friendly and helpful. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

We had a great time although the pool was not working. We went with 4 boys. The owners and staff went out of their way to make up for the pool being down during Spring break. Very friendly staff and owners. They are working on updating the entire facilities. Away from town but close enough to get around. The other RV Parks were either to many rigs and not enough space, small, or more expensive for a family of 6. After seeing the other parks - I would definitely come back here again. We had a great time! Nice clean site, room for a tent for the boys, easy access to the caverns (recommend reservations for the non self touring tours). Our site was quiet and in the back of the park. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here over spring break in a travel trailer to view Carlsbad Caverns. The park is clean and taken care of. The sites are right on top of each other and you are packed in like sardines. The pool was closed for repairs which was part of why we chose this place. The owners were extremely nice and helpful. We got a free DVD rental for checking in, they had 800 movies to choose from. The park is about 20 miles from the Caverns. The cable was okay and other utilities fine. I am not sure it was worth $38.00 a night. We would stay here again but will do more looking first. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This desert campground is about 5 miles outside of Carlsbad, on the way to the UNESCO designated Carlsbad Caverns, which are only 22 miles away. There is a heated indoor pool that has not been open since fall of 2011, laundry ($1.25 wash, $1 dry), decent Wi-Fi, free cable TV (60 channels), but recycling is not available. Nearby, propane is available by the gallon. At $38 for a 30 amp EWS (electricity, water and sewer) back-in site (with Good Sam discount), this campground is overpriced. However, it is convenient to the Caverns and Carlsbad. There are other RV Parks nearby, but I do not know their rates. AAA White City RV park is much closer to the Caverns but 25 miles from the amenities of Carlsbad. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate is with passport book discount & 10 percent Good Sams discount. So two nights cost $61.62. Expensive. No grass, sort of trashy looking. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is not the closest campground to Carlsbad Caverns. wifi worked good. Cable included. Pool not working. Would not stay here again. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Friendly staff. Sites are level (gravel). Fairly close to highway but traffic noise was not an issue. Used the laundry facilities which were in good working order. We were there for two nights. Note: water pressure is very high so you will need a reducer. Would stay here again. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Cannot rave about this one. Overprices at $37. Sites are very close together, no privacy or even the feeling of such. Just another RV "resort" that packs them in like sardines, and one that needs a little TLC at that. Located convenient to the Caverns if that is your goal, but I would not return to this park. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Probably best choice if visiting Carlsbad Caverns. Friendly staff. Got a coupon good for one night DVD from their large selection. Good Wi-Fi connectivity and through out. Down graded to 7 because restrooms / showers were too cold to use. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Closest nice park to the caverns. Easy in and out pull through sites, gravel beds that were pretty level. Hookups in good repair. Park is a little dated, but it seems like they are working daily to improve things. Stayed 4 nights and gave us the PA rate for one night and GS rate for the rest. Kids enjoyed the swings and pool. Would recommend this one over another nearby park. Didn't stay there, and glad we didn't. Looked pretty shabby from the drive by. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

I would have rated this campground higher if there hadn't been a problem with the voltage on hot days. Voltage dropped to less than 103 volts and my EMS automatically cut off power to the Motorhome to avoid damaging the motors in the AC units. This happened almost every day. There are also several workers staying in the park who leave for work around 5:30am each morning. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a good spot for going to the caverns, or exploring the area. Though it is a bit far to the caverns, there is only one park closer and from a distance, it didn't look like much. The other parks in the area are north of town. The sites are gravel and it is very dusty and no trees for the transient sites (they do have a lot of seasonal and permanent residents who have the sites which have the few trees on the property.) The sites are extremely wide and it was easy to back our 40' rig into. Most of the transient sites are back-ins, but it looked like there are a couple of pull-throughs. The Wi-Fi was sporadic but you could go to the office and get Wi-Fi there (although slow). Despite the shortcomings, we would stay again because it appears to be the best choice available when visiting the caverns. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Wide spacious spaces, indoor pool, playground and store. Very nice campground within 45 minutes of the Caverns. We stayed in the back section and our site was about 50X60. Very friendly hosts. Didn’t care for the indoor pool but that’s just us. Had pony rides, a hay ride and a turtle pen. The campground was very quiet in the evenings. We would stay here again and recommend this campground if visiting the Caverns. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Great game room; friendly staff at this park. The heater in the pool was broken. Had high school girls going around the park begging you for magazine subscriptions. The people were quiet. They gave a nice gift pack of samples and had a huge selection of DVD's, offered the first one for free. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Pool still not heated. When checking in, the desk clerk gave us a coupon for one free DVD rental and a welcome package with some free goodies. Definitely not a destination park but good for a couple of nights. Rate reflects Passport America including tax and 50 amp site. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
