We stayed one night in our travel trailer. Friendly people and well-kept park. Conveniently off Highway 60 as we traveled north to Albuquerque. Would stay here again. Good wi-fi. We camped at Travelers World Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Plain Jane. But very serviceable. Great for our needs. Easy in and out. Grateful for cooler weather because there's no real shade here. Would stay here again! We camped at Travelers World Campground in a Motorhome.

This is our second overnight visit in the last three weeks. It is a easy stopping point for us, right on the highway. Sites are level, price is reasonable, park is clean and well-maintained and the owner is great. Last month when we were here we got propane onsite; so convenient. There are a few items in the camp store including a nice selection of ice cream. This visit I picked up some laundry detergent. I noticed a number of fresh picked garden vegetables on the office porch and learned they were there free for park guests. So in addition to our site, our $30 included a few dollars worth of garden-grown cucumbers, squash, peppers and okra. The restroom and showers were clean, laundry was available and there is a little workout/game room with a couple exercise machines, TV, books and games. I wish all our overnight stops were this easy. This park has a good feel because of the owner and the care shown in its operation. We camped at Travelers World Campground in a Motorhome.

Travelers World is a good name for this utilitarian park. Gravel roads, typical spacing for a commercial park, and no frills. However, the service is great and the park is nice and clean. Located right on Hwy60/84 just outside of Clovis, New Mexico, Travelers World offers 30/50 amps full hook ups, cable, a laundry room, restroom/showers, and a playground for the kids. There is also a propane station on site. Not a destination, but definitely a good stop on the journey. We have already made our reservation for our trip back lot His way in 2 months. We camped at Travelers World Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The owners are very welcoming and take pride in their RV Park and it shows. The restrooms and showers are cleaned every day. Laundry room is available to use, which I thought is very handy. There is also a Rec-Room with some work-out equipment available to use. Designated Dog walking area is kept very clean and maintained. The Playground was a plus for our 5 year old to run around on. Traveler's World also has basic necessities and RV parts for purchase in the office, along with a variety of local attractions and insights to the town of Clovis. Big Rig FRIENDLY! In my opinion this is the best campground to stay at in Clovis! We camped at Travelers World Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Travelers World Campground has wonderful owners who are extremely friendly and helpful. The RV park provides spacious pull through sites with full hookups and Wifi. Cable is available, but due to recent changes by the cable company, you have to go to the local cable office and get a receiver box (this was the only inconvenient thing about this place). There is a railroad behind the park, but the noise is minimal and didn't seem to be an issue. The trip to town in just a few minutes, but the park is far enough away from town so that it provides a peaceful stay. The park has a recreation room, laundry room, and playground available. We have traveled in a travel trailer for work for over 10 years, and I have to say that Travelers World is probably one of my top 10 parks that we have visited. We camped at Travelers World Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed 2 nights. The site was level with nice hookups and they have a propane filling station there. When we arrived I asked about the nearest grocery store as my wife needed bananas for her RLS. The next day the owner brought 4 bananas for her so we wouldn't have to unhook. Love this place! We camped at Travelers World Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The park was right off the two lane highway. It was easy to access and the pull-thru sites were plenty long. The office staff was very helpful and friendly. We left a message before they were open, and the called us back during office hours. There is a train behind the campground, it comes thru a few times, but does not blow a whistle.

My only complaint is: their rule #7 is dogs must be on a leash. There was a Chihuahua and a brown and black dog that ran loose the whole afternoon and evening. It was evident they were loose often, by the amount of poop on our site. Partially the campground's fault, but mostly the inconsiderate dog owner! We camped at Travelers World Campground in a Motorhome.

Driving through, only stayed one night. Campgrounds was easy to find and get into. They save the front pull through sites for overnighters. Site was gravel, and very level, no adjustment were needed. All utilities were easy to access. Park was quite when we were there. Bathrooms are old but well kept, there was a note indicating that they are aware and working on updating them. We camped at Travelers World Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Probably best park in area - we visited 3 others.

A bit of train noise, but ok for sleep. Located on west side of town and we were visiting at Texas border 10 miles east of city. Great folks. We would stay here again.

The sites are gravel and nearby to one another but are sunny and open. We camped at Travelers World Campground in a Motorhome.

The roads and driveways are gravel and dirt. The rest of each site is grass. It had rained before we arrived and the gravel and dirt driveway had turned to gravel and mud. There was no picnic table.

Sites are very narrow and short. We supposedly had an extra-long site, but it barely accommodated our 35-foot RV, our tow dolly and our car.

The staff (owners?) were pleasant. There are a lot of semi-permanent occupants whose sites are, for the most part, well-maintained. The park is built between a large rail yard and the highway. We had no issue with noise from either the highway or the trains. We camped at Travelers World Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Clovis has "grown up" in recent years. It now has many of the chain stores found in most large cities. Whether or not that's a good thing is a matter of personal taste. However, it's still Clovis and its amenities are limited.

Office staff helpful and friendly. Restroom had suffered hail damage and were in the process of repair but were very clean although could use an upgrade. We were in a pull-through that was long but narrow. Our site was 100 feet off of a 4 lane highway and backed up against the railway right of way. Traffic and train noise went down after about ten. Trains only used their whistles three times for short blasts but we still heard the rumble. Campground is adequate for an overnight stay. We camped at Travelers World Campground in a Motorhome.

This park appears to be a former KOA. Its a bit dusty with gravel roads and sites, but that's not unusual in the high desert. Sites are of good size and reasonably level. Management is friendly and helpful -- giving us good recommendations for getting a water leak in our trailer fixed. WiFi and cable are among the best we've experienced in any campground. There is a railroad nearby, but the noise wasn't a major problem. Some other reviewers complained about the smell from the nearby stockyard, but we found this to be a faint odor. We would definitely return here if in the area. We camped at Travelers World Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate cited is the Good Sam rate, credit cards accepted. On our way through Clovis we passed other RV parks but reviews decided us on “Travelers World RV Park”. It is everything we hoped. We’re not really picky but don’t want to park in a dusty field either. Easy access for big rigs. Sites are level, open, large, nice layout, electrical is modern. Good gravel base throughout the park which will help hold down the dust when windy. Clean, well maintained, full hookups with 50 amp, good Internet, 100 cable channels. Many permanents but plenty of available sites for us non-permanents. As for all of Clovis, there was traffic noise from the highway and some very mild stockyard smells (my husband never smelled anything) which did NOT require us closing up and turning on the air conditioning. We like trains so were not bothered by their toots. Later in the afternoon when it got warm, we closed up and turned on the AC. Noise and whiff of stockyards not noticeable then. Owners live on site, very nice and accommodating. Will stop here again. We camped at Travelers World Campground in a Motorhome.
