Conveniently located to the bypass but no noticeable road noise in the middle of the park. In a commercial area but didn't notice it being exceptionally busy or noisy. The park itself is being kept up well, no trash, fresh paint, clean, etc. Asphalt and gravel sites. Small park but no problem getting a big rig around (may require some cooperation from others at times). Friendly, knowledgeable owner/mangers. Excellent buy for the buck. We camped at Mom and Pops RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a small park and good for several days. The owner is extremely nice and helpful. Excellent wifi, no satellite problem. Some street noise but not enough to be a problem. We would stay here again. We camped at Mom and Pops RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

A must see is the Bolack Museum. It is only about a mile away. It is free and you get a guided tour of the Electromechanical Museum (every imaginable item - old computers, insulators, telephone equipment, brass padlocks -- 3 bldgs worth of "stuff". It is three warehouses of electrical "stuff", a private collection and ranges from 1900 > present. Not set up like a regular museum, just warehouses packed to the ceiling. Don't pass it up. Call ahead for reservations.

New owners are very helpful and courteous. Just right for taking off on day-long visits like Chaco Canyon or Mesa Verde, not really a campground to stay in all day. Gravel sites with picnic table. Street noise dies down around 9pm. We camped at Mom and Pops RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Town is large and growing, lots of places to buy things and eat out if you choose. We needed the GPS to find our way around as this town is really spread out.

This place was just fine for a night, but you wouldn't really want to 'camp' here. The whole place is dated, and it's in an industrial area, but we found it a perfectly acceptable place to stop for the night. Our pull-thru site was long enough that we could leave toad attached to our 30' rig; much appreciated. Bathrooms were dated but very clean. The ol' owner has been a railroad enthusiast for 30+ years, and has a full train set outside the office that's the highlight of the place. He also casts & paints his own metal figurines - very cool. Takes cash only. We camped at Mom and Pops RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

20 minutes from Aztec Ruins National Historical Park.

Yes, there's some traffic noise, but it dies down after 9PM. No, there's no pool or spa, but all the basics are certainly there, including wifi. Owner is very friendly and professional - and a serious modeler with a garden railroad right there. Only spent one night, but he was accommodating and we'd definitely come back for several days. We camped at Mom and Pops RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Good value. Sites are mostly level. This is a gravel rv park with no grass. No cable but adequate over air tv. Restrooms are very clean, safe location but a little hwy noise. Accommodating host-owner with many suggestions for things to do. Close to town-Sams, etc. Perfect for a day or so in the area. Only a few full timers but hardly noticed them. Clean and neat park! We camped at Mom and Pops RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Except for traffic noise, this is a good stopover. sites are paved, some with shade. Very helpful management, including a vast outdoor miniature train layout and other miniature displays. Well priced location for exploring local sights. I stay here often when in the area, and would recommend it. We camped at Mom and Pops RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is just a parking lot with RV hook-ups. It was fine for a one night stay, but would not stay any longer. "Pop's" rules for dogs were a little extreme in my opinion. They were only allowed to do their "business" in the 10x10 fenced in dog area. Did you ever try to stop a male Basset Hound from urinating for over 30 feet? However, other parks in the area looked worse, so if we were in the area again we would probably stay there. We camped at Mom and Pops RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here 2 nights, and that would probably be the limit I would stay. The campground was adequate, but the sites were very tight unless you were fortunate to get one of the pull throughs. We were in a 35' motorhome and there was no room to park our vehicle in front. If you were to use your picnic table, you would be sitting next to your neighbor's sewer/water hook ups. The owner was very nice and knowledgeable about the area suggesting things to do. There is a great walking/biking trail that follows the river about 1/2 mile away. There is no laundry but there is a laundromat a block away. Great little restaurant about 1/2 mile away - Sonya's. Lots of places to eat and shop about 5 miles from campground. We camped at Mom and Pops RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is not a destination park, but a nice enough place to use as a base for exploring the four-corners area or for an overnight stop. There are six pull-through sites that will accommodate a 45 foot motorhome. Sites and roads are packed dirt. The campground is clean and the few trees are trimmed. The approximately 10 long-term RVs at the park are decently kept up. The on-site owner is friendly and willingly shares his knowledge of the area. We are full-time RVers and lived here for a week. If we are ever back in the area or passing through we would stay here again. We camped at Mom and Pops RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a good place for an overnight or as a base camp to explore the area around Farmington. It's basically a gravel parking lot with paved pads for the RVs. Pop was very accommodating, had a great list of local places to visit, and a map showing where everything was in town. There is a small dog area with nice grass at the front of the office. Not much ambiance here but it served our need for a good overnight stop well. We camped at Mom and Pops RV Park in a Motorhome.

Small park, but convenient since it is almost in town. Great base for going to museums and other historical sites. Owner's hobby is building miniature models - has complete village with trains set up in front of the office. We camped at Mom and Pops RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a small park with constant oversight by the owners or at least Pop. They have a very small dog walk area but it worked for our dog. The spaces are level pavement for the rig and gravel for the picnic table area. As an aside, Pop has built/carved a large model railroad, associated buildings and people in the front yard of the Office. We camped at Mom and Pops RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice place, considering. It is in an industrial area and is basically a parking lot with close spacing. But its well laid out providing easy access for even big rigs, and the neighborhood noise didn't bother us because we're pretty well insulated (double pane windows) and we didn't hang around a lot between 8 and 5 on weekdays anyway. Uniqueness (see earlier reviews), helpfulness, cleanliness and price more than make up for those issues. And there is a 4 nights for 3 deal that would make it an exceptional deal. We camped at Mom and Pops RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice small busy park. The price reflects the 'stay 3 nights for $60 and get the 4th night free' discount. The sites were fairly level. There was a fire pit, grill and table at each site. "Pop" gives you all the local information with addresses when you check in. The park is centrally located for visits to Chaco Culture National Historic Park,. hiking in the Bisti, Aztec Ruins NHS and Salmon Ruins. It is also convenient to shopping. There is a Dunkin Donuts in town also. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Mom and Pops RV Park in a Motorhome.
