This was a quick overnight stay on our way home. the site was okay given no one was on either side of us. There appeared to be a number permanent residents but not an issue. I used their Wi-Fi and it worked okay. we would probably stay here again if the need arose. We camped at USA RV Park in a Motorhome.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stop and would've stayed longer had we not been on a strict time schedule. Very clean, neat and friendly. Our site was level and the wifi was good. Would stay again. We camped at USA RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Always a good place to stop while driving through Gallup. Great wifi and cable. Base price is $30 and GS discounts and additions for cable and 50 amp are from there. It would be nice if more parks charged on a pay what you use basis. It's clean, dependable and this is the third time we've stayed here. Active military stays free and we think that's a great thing that they offer to our service men and women! We camped at USA RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting the area. The park is easy to find from I-40 and is mostly quiet. When checking in, the staff was very friendly. The sites are level, but close together, and just long enough for our 39-foot fifth wheel. We would stay here again when in the area. We camped at USA RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Good place to stay when visiting the mining museum, Navajo county museum, and Richardson's trading post. A casino isn't far away.

This is one of the best RV parks we have ever stayed in. The managers are very friendly and helpful. WIFI was excellent. There is a BBQ cafe on site which serves very good food. A beautiful swimming pool. Location is good for exploring El Morro Nat'l Monument, Window Rock, Canyon de Chelly. We suggest going to the Visitor Center in town for lots of friendly advice on activities in the area. We spent a month here in our Airstream travel trailer. Rate is based on monthly stay. We camped at USA RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Aurelia's on the east side of town has the best breakfast burros.
There are Indian dance performances during the summer at the Courthouse Square.

Lots of Indian arts and jewelry.

This is a friendly, convenient park on the route between Colorado and Arizona. The staff is friendly the sites are level with good solid hook-ups.
Sites are side-by-side and very close together. Park could use some sprucing up. Picnic tables are really in need of painting. Wifi was slow in the evenings. We camped at USA RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Park was filled up when we got there due to the balloon fiesta. Manger offered us a site by the restroom that had shared water and electric. Good cable and limited Wi-Fi. Bathroom and showers was in a need of cleaning. Would recommend anytime except during balloon fiesta unless you had reservation. We camped at USA RV Park in a Motorhome.

Right on Route 66, this is a very nice campground convenient to lots of American Southwest and Native American culture & national park unit sites that are nearby. Campground is laid out well and has nice amenities, and much care is given to the upkeep of the park. WiFi worked very well most all the time; Verizon strong, too. Great cable offering! Bathrooms a bit old but clean with 3 toilets/showers in each; laundry room with 6 each w/d was very nice. Pool & grill closed for the season, but looks great. Staff very friendly & helpful. We will definitely come back. We camped at USA RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Go eat authentic Mex-American food at Jerry's Cafe - all the locals go there - it's amazing!!!

Very nice RV park just a mile or so off of I-40. The park is paved with easy in/out long level gravel sites spaced about 15' apart. Our site on the back row was about 70' long. Most sites are full sun. They charge $2 extra for 50A and $2 extra for cable TV. Expect some daytime noise from low flying aircraft since the airport is next door. Train noise was minimal. Park wifi worked mid-day but slowed to a crawl when campers were on at night. Both ATT & Verizon had strong signals. One travel warning: if you go to Walmart with your RV first, the I-40 side road (Maloney Ave) is the shortest path to the RV park and that takes you through a very rough 13'2" underpass. Instead, get back on I-40 & take exit 16 back to the park. We camped at USA RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Maloney Ave from Walmart to the RV Park takes you under a rough 13'2" underpass with no advance signage. Get back on I-40 instead and take exit 16.

This is a big RV park. It's well-run.
Everything is gravel w/ paved drives. There are a few trees but no grass, as seems to be the usual in New Mexico.
Interesting configuration for parking rigs - they alternate directions that RVs pull in to sites. Seems to work well.
The WiFi works well.
Much appreciated was an enclosed dog area.
Also much appreciated...no goat's head burrs within the confines of the RV park. We camped at USA RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park. We stayed for 10 days to see the sites in the area. There is much to see. The town is nothing to speak of. The park staff were friendly and helpful. I agree with past reviewers that the picnic tables are in need of repainting badly, there than that the park was clean and maintained.
Know that the park is located at the end of the runway for the municipal airport and we are on the final approach. The planes fly very low over the park. There is also a train hub, so many trains day and night. We were not bothered by either but some were.
We will stay again. We camped at USA RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a beautiful park; paved roads and level gravel sites. There is a very nice dog park. There is a $2.00 charge for 50-amp service and $2.00 for cable. We had full hook-ups and everything worked well, although the wi-fi was fairly slow. BUT - and this is a very big but for us - the sites were extremely tight. We actually had to back our rig up in order for the neighbor to our left to get into his site and our bedroom slideout was within inches of the neighbor on the other side's bedroom slide. It was so close that we were not able to pull out the next morning but had to back out. There were picnic tables on nice concrete pavers at each site but, as nice as the park was, we would not stay here again. We camped at USA RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is a great place to stop on your way across the country on I-40. Try to reserve or arrive early because it fills up every night. We have stayed here multiple times.
On our last visit my surge protector showed a problem with the electrical pedestal. I informed John, the owner and he had an electrician out within minutes. It turns out the issue was with my surge protector not the pedestal. John made no issue about what surely cost a service charge he just wanted to make sure everything was tip top shape.
The entire park is just gravel but very well maintained. Restrooms and showers are very clean as is the office and store which is loaded with lots of New Mexico souvenirs and always has fresh ice.
We will definitely be back. We camped at USA RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a park I would use as a one night stay only. It was crowded with narrow spaces. There is little or no landscaping to speak of. I woke up to freight trains going by several times during the night. There is an airport near by and a plane was doing "touch and goes" during the late afternoon and a couple of times during the evening. The staff are nice and the general cleanliness is good. They have a barbecue each evening "in season" which must be good because it was sold out by the time we went to get tickets. Oh, and the barbecue does cost extra. We camped at USA RV Park in a Motorhome.
