This is a no-reservation park. If they have space, you're in. All spaces are pull-through. Roads and spaces are all gravel, and it gets dusty with traffic. Park is improving sites; some are being improved with landscaping. They have a store which is limited. Each site has covered picnic table and BBQ. We did not use bathroom or showers, and don't know about laundry. There is no onsite pool, and resort pool may be available; we don't know. We were there for the casino. They have a shuttle to take campers to the casino. Shuttle has a schedule but can be easily called. Casino is great. They have many newer video slots. Food is good. The experience was great. The park is next to the rail transit. We used the train to visit another casino on the North side of Albuquerque - Sandia. We would visit again. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This site is on an indian reservation. They have a private fishing lake stocked with catfish which is popular with the community. The train connects to Albuquerque, and it runs all the way to Santa Fe old town which can make for nice day visit.

Very strict at check-in and time consuming. WiFi terrible. Dusty and many weeds and stickers. South side has more room and easy pull-throughs. Fishing was not good and other than the casino there are few places to go. We would recommend overnight but better choices in Albuquerque. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.

The other reviews are pretty accurate except the train noise is very close and annoying. However they don't run in the middle of the night. The sights and roads are dirt and gravel. Very dusty normally and it rained when we were there so we had mud. Other than that nice park and facility. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is a must stay for us during our annual spring trek from Chicago to Arizona. We usually stay here anywhere from a few days to a
week. The park is on the Isleta Pueblo land adjacent to the New Mexico Rail Runner/AMTRAK lines. Trains come by occasionally. The Isleta casino, restaurants and hotel are about a mile south of the RV park. We have a 39' class A MH towing a Jeep Liberty and the sites are just long enough to accommodate both without having to disconnect. The hookups are towards the rear of the site making it a relatively long run for your cables and hoses. Even on an overnight stay we will usually disconnect the Jeep in order to keep the MH closer to the utility hookups. The park is 'gated' in the sense that there is 24-hr security at the park entrance. There are two very nice fishing lakes on the property but you must keep what you catch. A 1.5-mile walking/jogging road surrounds the small lakes. 30/50 amp electric/water/sewer/cable TV at each site and satellite users will have a clear shot at the sky. The water hookups are very low to the ground so plan to be on your knees to hook up. Staff is friendly. We will absolutely stay here again. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have enjoyed our stay here. When you check in, you get the impression they are quite strict here, and they are. But, as you get to know the folks working here, it changes. ABQ is great, but it has some sketchy characters. The employees here let you know they enforce the rules, and they do thankfully. You are given a pass that you show to the guard each time you leave/enter the grounds. It's manned 24x7. There is a convenience store on site, two stocked lakes and well kept grounds. The electricity is reliable, as is the WIFI, water pressure and cable TV. There are no electric meters. Bison are raised as livestock in a fenced field adjoining the RV Park. The casino provides a shuttle service to/from the casino which has all the amenities you'd want to enjoy. There's a golf course here too. They also pick you up from the Rail Runner light rail that runs from just south of the Pueblo t0 Santa Fe and back. The cost is nominal and quite enjoyable. The railroad tracks are close, but I am noise sensitive, and it didn't bother me. It's kind of nostalgic to see them run knowing the history of the railroad in the West. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Los Lunas - avoid crazy ABQ traffic. Iselta Pueblo has a general delivery USPS. Go to Nelson's Meats for good organic meats. OJO Optique for funky eyeglasses. Two Fools Tavern. Moxi Evol of Beauty Hair Salon. Aveda Institute here too. Mask y Mas on Central Ave. If you eat too many soapillas, your pants won't fit for long.

Nice base for exploring Albuquerque. Wifi and cable good. Sand and Gravel sites. We had to argue to get a spot on the south end, the sites on the north end have the patio on the wrong side of the site. Almost left but the attendant finally agreed. There were plenty of sites, there were plenty of sites, they just were being difficult. Shuttle to the casino, nice ponds to walk around. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you are a fan of "Breaking Bad" or "Better Call Saul" there are a bunch of filming sites to see. The Nuclear Bomb museum was interesting. Old Town was nice.

Very nice park near a nice casino (about 1/2 mile or two minute drive away). Two fishing lakes, stocked with trout and catfish, are in the park (only catch and keep, no release). Bathrooms are spacious, warm and clean. The park is by a rail line which has a light rail service to Albuquerque and Santa Fe. A day pass is $8-11 which is cheaper than driving the 120 miles round trip to Santa Fe. We don't mind the trains going by. It's only the light rail and Amtrak, so not that frequent.

The spaces are large and level pull-throughs. Yes, the grills are strangely placed. Given that you're out in the desert with its clay sand, it would be nice to have concrete pads or thicker gravel, but otherwise a really pleasant park and extremely convenient. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Very good base for seeing not only Albuquerque and the Sandia mountains, but also for day trips to Santa Fe, thanks to the light rail system. True, the system is mainly for commuters, due to the shared line with Amtrak, but it's still nice. It's also very pleasant having the casino right across the street. We ate at two of the restaurants there, Embers and Tiwa Cafe, and food, service and prices were very good at both places, and the casino itself was fine and not smokey.

The RV is easy to get to from I-25. There are a lot of pull through sites. We were able to get a site that was long enough to keep the toad attached to our 39 foot coach. Level, traveled sites. There is lots of room between sites. Each site has a picnic table on a concrete pad with a cover. There are 2 small lakes next to the campground that you can walk around. They have a shuttle to the casino and the casino has restaurants. Good WiFi. Great southern view for the satellite dish. They do not take reservations but there were a lot of sites available. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Quiet park next to two fishing lakes. A few full-timers that needed their sites cleaned up. Nice lady at check-in. Non-campers are allowed in to fish the lakes for a fee. The days we were there, there were quite a few people fishing. Roads can get very dusty. Casino is half a mile away but there is a shuttle. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Good location not far from Albuquerque, two lakes for fishing (extra $), and lots of room for walking people and dogs. The older northern section has more developed trees, but whoever designed this had never stayed in a RV park... tables with canopies are at the EXTREME end on the passenger side of the site, putting the bbq right at the window of an RV parked in the next site... bad design. The newer southern section they reversed the angle of the sites so the table and canopy are where it should be... middle of passenger side. However, the northern section is supposed to be for longer stay, the southern for over-nighters. Weekend partying with large groups with visitors from town led us to request to relocate to the quieter southern side, or we would change parks, which they allowed us to do. Yes the railroad is right there, and that's the biggest downside of this park. We will return. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice staff and place, but it has a huge problem. It's the large commuter rail train tracks located only a few yards away. It is extremely loud because they blow their horn 5 or 6 times in a row, multiple times a day. Sometimes starting 4:45 AM'ish (maybe every hour or so after that) and it goes as late as 10:45 PM. A totally ridiculous place for an RV Park. It really is unbelievably loud. Very nice lake and walking paths around it. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a great park. Very well kept with beautiful grounds! The lakes are a very nice touch and even though we did not partake of the casino or its shuttle service, it was a nice option. We stayed here in our casita and would definitely stay again! We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We were in the park for 2 nights. No shade on the eastern part of the park. The area of the campsites had not been kept clean as trash was everywhere. We were considering staying 2 more nights but after we notified security of the ant problems throughout and were told that no chemicals could be used, we left. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.

A full hookup park with great Wi-Fi. Long pull throughs to accommodate a 43 ft coach pulling a car. Covered patio with table at every site. Very clean laundry and only $1.00 to wash. Nice lake for a sunset stroll or fishing if you want. Only negative is the commuter train which starts blowing its horn about 3 A.M. There is a shuttle that will pick up and drop off from the casino. Right off I-25, but hardly any road noise. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were told that we would be able to check in early and since our home was only 20 miles away we came to the park at 10am thinking we would be able to pick our own space as they do not take reservations. We were told that we were in space #32 right off the main dirt road and facing the small convenience store. We asked about some of the open spaces farther away so we could have some privacy but was told that those are for the larger units. So be aware if you have a smaller trailer unit. Not very appealing. You are put where they want you and not where you would want to stay even showing up early. The park was fairly nice but could use some more southwest type plants that thrive in the desert, also some walking trails to the store so the other campers don't have to walk through your campsite. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
