Nice staff and place, but it has a huge problem. It's the large commuter rail train tracks located only a few yards away. It is extremely loud because they blow their horn 5 or 6 times in a row, multiple times a day. Sometimes starting 4:45 AM'ish (maybe every hour or so after that) and it goes as late as 10:45 PM. A totally ridiculous place for an RV Park. It really is unbelievably loud. Very nice lake and walking paths around it. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a great park. Very well kept with beautiful grounds! The lakes are a very nice touch and even though we did not partake of the casino or its shuttle service, it was a nice option. We stayed here in our casita and would definitely stay again! We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

We were in the park for 2 nights. No shade on the eastern part of the park. The area of the campsites had not been kept clean as trash was everywhere. We were considering staying 2 more nights but after we notified security of the ant problems throughout and were told that no chemicals could be used, we left. A full hookup park with great Wi-Fi. Long pull throughs to accommodate a 43 ft coach pulling a car. Covered patio with table at every site. Very clean laundry and only $1.00 to wash. Nice lake for a sunset stroll or fishing if you want. Only negative is the commuter train which starts blowing its horn about 3 A.M. There is a shuttle that will pick up and drop off from the casino. Right off I-25, but hardly any road noise. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

We were told that we would be able to check in early and since our home was only 20 miles away we came to the park at 10am thinking we would be able to pick our own space as they do not take reservations. We were told that we were in space #32 right off the main dirt road and facing the small convenience store. We asked about some of the open spaces farther away so we could have some privacy but was told that those are for the larger units. So be aware if you have a smaller trailer unit. Not very appealing. You are put where they want you and not where you would want to stay even showing up early. The park was fairly nice but could use some more southwest type plants that thrive in the desert, also some walking trails to the store so the other campers don't have to walk through your campsite. This campground is about ten miles south of Albuquerque located on the Isleta Pueblo. We stopped for two nights since it was Memorial Weekend and we were worried about finding a place to stay. When we arrived in the early afternoon there were still spots available but by 7 all sites had been taken. The cost was $36 for full hookups with cable and Wifi (the best). There are two sections and the one we were in the picnic tables and cover were placed so far away from where the RV’s have to park to hookup that we didn’t use it. I noticed the second section that is newer, they fixed that problem. No reservations here. Check in was easy and friendly. There are two lakes Turtle and Sunrise that are stocked with catfish for fishing and opened to the public. A tribal permit is needed and one can get that at the check-in building with the store. There is a limit on how many fish you can catch. Bath house was clean. The casino (Hard Rock Hotel & Casino) and golf course are right up the road and interstate 25 is within a mile. It was a good stop, but our site was used to get to the store so we had campers walking right by our door with no regard to our privacy. They should build a path to the store so this does not happen. Good place to stay if visiting the Albuquerque area. A Buffalo Herd is fenced in right next to the campground. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

We enjoyed our stay here. A very pretty setting on two lakes, with nice walking paths around. The spots are extremely wide. Lots of day people in fishing. Excellent cable. We had a very nice dinner over at the Hard Rock. The train did not bother us at all (although we were as far away from it as possible). My main complaint was the dust. Pretty much everything were dirt roads, and the dust was pretty intense. It would really help if they graveled the areas. Not too far into town. Staff was friendly. Excellent security: 24 hours. Although this park could be much better, it has NOT had ANY maintenance with gravel and grassy areas most likely since it was built. As a result, this is a big dust bowl! Again, could be much better if they would spring for gravel. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

A clean kept park with two ponds on site. Roads are dirt/gravel. Each site comes with its own ramada and table, although the sewer connection is at one end of these very long sites and the ramada at the other end. All the RVs are parked closer to their neighbor's ramada than their own. Each site has what was once a section of grass, although is appears to have not been maintained as only bits of grass are left behind with the section mostly returned back to sand. Each site is provided a trash can and was emptied regularly. The ponds are nice to walk around using a dirt paved trail, a cemented trail and some park style grass would be a great improvement. Guard shack and the entrance are manned 24/7. I didn't like the visitors policy: No visitors after 6:30 pm and all visitors must leave by 7:00 pm. Decent park located close to a casino, just too much desert for my taste. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Pretty basic park. Clean, hot showers. The casino has a free shuttle and will come at any time. The park has night time security. There is also a couple of pay lakes that they stock regularly. Decent cable. Stable power. There is railroad track running right next to the park, but it is mostly used for a passenger train that goes all the way to Santa Fe to approx 20 miles south of the park, very inexpensive and good for sight seeing. Train noise was not a problem even though it was so close, and no noise at night. Last train runs around 10pm. Would have rated it higher if it have more to offer. Would stay again when in the area or going to the casino. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

We really enjoyed this park. Price based on weekly rate. All facilities were very good. In October, weather was beautiful. Fishing in the lakes is a bit pricey, but provides a nice walk-to recreation. The walk around the two lakes provided a good morning walk--about 35 minutes brisk walking. Casino is OK, if you like casinos. Roadrunner train stops at the park and takes you to Santa Fe or Albequerque for $6 round trip. A good place to stay if you want a peaceable week, or as a base for day trips to Santa Fe or Albuquerque. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Our nightly rate reflects an October special. Our last stay was in May, and we agree with the last comment on the park being unkempt. We have been visiting this park for quite a few years and were so disappointed in the condition of the park and lake on our last visit. This is not the case anymore. Now the park and lakes are clean, well maintained with no weeds, and the grass is cut. The Wi-Fi is good. The laundry is excellent, and the price is right at $1 to wash and dry. The staff and guards have been very courteous. Somebody got the message. Great improvement in the park. We extended our stay and we will be back. Good security and level sites. The location of the covered table makes it unusable. We have camped here several times over the past four years. The overall maintenance of the campground has really deteriorated. Worm boxes, bones, and other trash are around the lakes. The water in the lakes looks nasty. The weeds are not being trimmed. Easy access for 40’ plus size motorhome. Sites are level and large. Shuttle to the Hard Rock Casino is available. Roadrunner railroad is within walking distance and will take you to Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Store on site for limited shopping. Grocery store about 14 miles. Two lakes on site for fishing. Sites need maintenance as there are a great deal of weeds. Leash law is now enforced. Beware any visitors are charged $2 to visit you! Security is good, but the security guards can be obnoxious at times. While not a resort type RV park, it is a good place to stay. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a hard location to rate. Lots of positives; nice clean large level sites w/ covered concrete patios and picnic tables. Hook-up are modern, convenient and worked well. There is a large fishing pond ($) with a bike/walking trail around it. Convenient to restaurants at Hard Rock Casino. Negatives: the Wi-Fi needed my external antenna to work well. The commuter train line is close. (Nice if you want to visit Santa Fe.) We would stay here again. We camped at Isleta Lakes & RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
