I contacted the phone number that was listed for the RV park to see if they had any openings as we wanted to stay in the area overnight. The owner was not at the RV park but gave me the WiFi password info and key pad entry to the restrooms. He told me what site to take that would be best for our Class A motorhome. This RV park is in the beginning stages of being spruced up - they have a really nice bathroom and shower (didn't use them) but the campsites were not very level. The owner did arrive later to settle up on our bill and had suggested that we might move to another lot that would be more level but it was already getting dark and after spending a good length of time trying to level our RV on the current spot we elected to stay where we were at since it was only going to be a one night stay. The RV park was nothing but gravel and mud (as it had just rained) which caused for a very messy entrance in to our motorhome. There are no trees, no picnic benches on the sites - it's just an gravel lot! I imagine it will look nice later on but right now it's not a very desirable stop. We camped at Homestead RV Park in a Motorhome.
Very helpful owner and host campers. New, super clean bath house. Laundry has been started. Very near highway and main street but quiet. In a residential and light industry neighborhood. Sites are average size. Had to unhook toad. Turns are tight for 43 foot Class A partly due to inconsiderate campers. Over half "extended stay" rigs. Sites have odd surfaces making leveling difficult in some. Some sites have utilities in the middle. Cable TV is not HD. Wi-Fi is not dependable at times. Worked well other times. Entire campground is rock. We camped at Homestead RV Park in a Motorhome.
Price reflects GS discount. Basic RV Park. Wonderful and helpful owner and staff. Good park to work out of in seeing the area sites. No laundry, but they are planning to add one as this is a new park. We camped at Homestead RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very adequate facility. Good homebase for local sites - Ruins in Aztec, Salmon ruins, four corners, Shiprock, etc. Pinion is nice local golf course. Fuel very close and acceptable prices. Grocery a bit away at Walmart. Cable, but only analog channel reception with limited stations - better digital reception via antenna for the few local stations and better picture. Very nice, helpful and informative host. Location is a bit 'around the corner' and behind a storage facility but this also gives it a little protection from the Constant NM wind. Good level sites and look to be expanding their 'club house'. Enjoy ! We camped at Homestead RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Called ahead when we were about 20 minutes out. We were told to see the people in the CG Host unit. When we got there the park was still under construction. About half was partly done but the sites were absolutely bare gravel. The office is half built and we could get no answer at the hosts unit. The park looks pet unfriendly since it is between a residential area and Hwy 64. No obvious place to walk a dog. Once they get this park finished it may be better but it has a long way to go. We left and drove east to Bloomfield and a RV park there. That is closer to Chaco Culture anyway. We camped at Homestead RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a brand new park. We were looking for a 50 AMP site that was convenient to Chaco Culture NP. The park is very clean with brand new bathrooms and showers. It is right off of Main Street, so there was some noise, but not too bad. Very close to gas station with convenience store and KFC. The only problem we had was that when we arrived, it seemed that nobody was around to register us. Finally another camper pointed us to where the host's site was. It was the second site down from the bathrooms. Didn't see a laundry room, but it looks like there are plans to expand the bathroom/shower building as well as adding more sites. This was a good place to stay to visit Chaco if you need 50 AMP. We camped at Homestead RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
