While this campground is tucked into a lovely Ponderosa pine forest, the mountain view and meadow views as advertised are lacking. The mountain view is the side of the mountain the site is set on and the meadow overlook includes a church, parking lot, trucks and farm equipment. The campground property has large storage containers, garage and more vehicles & equipment. Its located close to highway, so some traffic noise but not too distracting - surprisingly quiet. We had a few site choices when we arrived - we chose the front section near the highway it was a better location than the views of the storage container and garage. Water pressure was weak. Wifi was non-existent. Electric surged quite often at all hours of day & night. We were happy that we had a surge protector. A bit of a challenge maneuvering our truck when another trailer parked in next spot down hill from us. Full hook up and views for $33 was pricey especially since we did not receive what was advertised - campground website makes this place out to be more than what you get.

Will stay at national forest campgrounds when we are in the area again. We camped at Trails End RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

A lot of wildlife viewing -elk, birds, deer. Check out the Valles Caldera.

Small privately owned (owner lives on property) RV campground that has full hookups and free wi-fi. Park is situated in the ponderosa pines of the Jemez mountains at an elevation of 7600 ft. Unable to acquire satellite due to pine trees and no over the air channels could be found but we didn't care with so much to do and explore in this area. We camped at Trails End RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
