Very clean. Our spot was raked before we arrived. Level, gravel pad, excellent hook ups. We were very pleased, especially considering the low price. We stayed one night only, but have it on our list to stay again when we pass through that way. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

On the plus side....nice wide sites on gravel which is typical for this area. They have landscaping between each site for privacy. Wifi worked well. Lots of TV channels. Nice dog run area. Garbage is picked up at your site every morning. Close to I-10 but noise not an issue. Now for the negative.......no pool. Found the staff in the office to be very unfriendly and never saw any staff in the park during the day except the person who picked up the garbage. Mesilla Village is over-rated. Lots of little shops but a bit of a tourist trap. La Posta Restaurant was okay but we have eaten better Mexican food at Mom & Pop Mexican restaurants, for far less money. Enjoyed the Farmer's Market downtown. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed overnight when traveling from Texas to Tucson. Park has wide roads and gravel sites which are level. We selected an extra-long site because we have a 44 ft motorhome and tow a car. The site had plenty of space to keep the car attached. The sewer connection is a bit far to the back but not a problem. No picnic table but this was not a problem for us. The office staff was very friendly and the park is very clean. Right off the high-way but the noise was not bad. Easy access. We would stay here again. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are no signs for the resort so need to pay attention to road names. Immediately right after you get under the highway.

Buddy sites. Paved roads & sites. Our site was at end & not long enough to fit the truck also. Good hook ups. Good for overnight. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We were here only for 3 nights on our way to Tucson. It's a nice clean RV park. The pull through sites are separated by fencing and landscaping to give some privacy but that also means the camping side feels a little tight. Since we didn't have any neighbors during our stay, it was ok but I would feel cramping if we happened to be here during a busy time. They have a long dog park area at the edge of the resort. It's almost like a water runoff area but it works great for playing ball. After one full night of rain though, the dog park was unusable due to the inch of standing water. The campground host was very nice, the landscaping is well done, and the sites are gravel and level. There isn't a lot of traffic noise even though it is right off the highway. We tend to prefer grass and trees and this was a lot of gravel and concrete which felt a bit sterile to us. They probably have a fair number of activities for their guests but since we were there during New Years Day, there wasn't much happening and it felt a bit like a ghost town. We would stay here again. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There's a Walmart less than 5 minutes away which has almost everything you need.

We stayed overnight here based on reviews and Big Rigs Best Bets book. We selected an extra-long site since we're 65-feet long, towing our car. Easy off/on I-10. The site was gravel but level. Nice facilities and friendly, helpful front desk staff. Great recommendation for dinner at the nearby La Posta Mexican restaurant. We definitely would stay again when passing through Las Cruces. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here several times. Although this remains my favorite park in Las Cruces the service is not as personal as it once was. I am demoting them on value because their internet connection is poor to non-existant. Signal strength at the bus was good but could not depend upon getting an actual internet connection. As many of us depend upon Wifi services the management of this park would be well advised to ensure better wifi performance.

Great dog run and several other grassy areas for pets. Well-maintained facility. Extensive channel selection on their cable TV. Trash pickup at site. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Although most new visitors to Las Cruces may be directed to the Las Posas restaurant in Mesilla (Touristy) for Mexican food you might want to try Chilitos on South Valley (locals go there) as well as Chope's in Mesquite (may have to stand in line).

We have stayed here before and this is a very nice park not too far off I-10, with easy on/off and close to Old Mesilla. The site was a spacious back to back pull thru on raked crusher fine gravel, with excellent utilities. Some highway noise, but not bothersome with all windows closed at night. There are quite a few rules here, but they keep the place looking good. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Wal Mart and Cracker Barrel are just across the freeway from the park. Dion's Pizza has a location in Las Cruces- excellent subs and pizza!!!!!

Nice park, I had a site along the wall so more privacy. Wonderful dog run, nicest and biggest I have seen. My Lucy was quite pleased. Close to Mesilla but not walkable as reported. Easy access to freeways. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We have stayed here before, but during dryer months. Access off I-10 is a breeze, although current construction makes this much more challenging. Pay attention to highway exit signs. It is easy to miss the exit at night if you don't watch closely for your exit. Currently, the dog run is underwater and unusable. The mosquitoes were out of control! I've never been bitten so much in my life! During the wet season wear repellant! The sites are flat, well manicured, long, wide and the interior roads are easily navigated in a long coach with toad. The staff is very pleasant on the phone (we are never there during business hours). The spa is nice and restrooms clean. There is even trash service at your lot every morning (although we prefer to dispose of our own, immediately). Overall this is one of the nicer parks on our route. We prefer the cooler, dryer times, but that is not always an option. Even with all the rain it isn't too sloppy to stay. We'll be back. Again and again! We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice clean park. Very quiet even though trains are nearby. Had cable TV. Swimming pool was really a large spa but it was nice and clean. Close by to Old Town Mesilla. Walmart close by. Did some wine tasting very near the park. The winery also had a restaurant. Lots of good restaurants in the Old Town. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Caution - Very high water pressure in this park. I measured in excess of 100 PSI. Use a regulator or suffer possible plumbing damage. They warn you in their literature, but if you don't read it before you hook up, you could have quite a problem. This is a very clean park and it was quiet at night. The sites are some of the most level we've encountered. The lobby and all the facilities are top notch. The person checking us in was very businesslike, just not very outgoing. Please note that there is significant construction near the entrance to the park which can make it quite confusing when you get off the freeway. If you are exiting from west bound I-10, you'll come to a stop sign at the bottom of the ramp, but it's only a two way stop. We had to wait about 5 minutes for traffic to clear enough to make our turn. The park is near the Old Mesilla district, and there are some famous restaurants in the area. La Posta is a Mexican restaurant from 1939. But be prepared for a significant wait. The parking sites are graded gravel. Utilities were as follows: Water Pressure - 105 PSI (VERY HIGH). Electric - 50 amp, Line 1 - 117V, Line 2 113V. I'd stay here again. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a convenient park because it is close to the I-10 but you don't hear the highway that much. There was a lot of construction close by and made it a little confusing at the exit. The sites are nice and long and level. There is plenty of space between them. The park is well maintained. The staff is friendly. We will probably stay here again on the way back. We camped at Hacienda RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
