Typical KOA on the higher end although I suggest you take a back-in site over a pull-through. The pull-through sites have concrete strips which are handy if you have leveling issues with your rig. However they are so close together that when I put my awning out I was in the site next to me, plus there was no room for a picnic table. The back-in sites have above average width with picnic tables. Very clean and close to the 10 freeway, which is a plus. Very friendly staff. They also have a very good RV detailing company in town that washed my rig at a very reasonable price and did an excellent job. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Motorhome.

We are a 45 footer and stuck way out in the Premium View Sites. The views are great , but that's where it ends. No WiFi anywhere in the park , although they claim it's there. Very well kept landscape, but too much gravel and no grass anywhere except the tent sites. would not stay again as there are many other choices. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Motorhome.

This is your typical KOA. Basically a big field with a few trees. It is certainly satisfactory for a nights stay or even longer if you need to be in the area. It was very quiet. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This is a well-managed park. We had a premium pull-through site, which was long enough for the car to be parked behind the motorhome. Sites and roads are gravel, with concrete strips in the premium pull-through sites section. We were lucky enough to have a tree beside us, which gave some break from the afternoon sun. Sites are pretty level, and are wide enough for slides. I think the tree would prevent full extension of the awning. There are no picnic tables at the sites in this area of the park. The interior roads are wide enough to allow easy maneuvering. All utilities worked well during our stay, as did wi-fi. I really appreciate the fact that the staff leaves an empty space between units until the park fills up. We have not noticed much noise here during our one-week stay. We have stayed at this park several times, and will always choose it when visiting Las Cruces. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Giant used book store downtown. If you are trying to complete a series you are reading, they probably have the one you're missing.

One night stay here on our way from Needles Ca, to Ft. Stockton, TX. Nice, clean, and neat campground. Sites were close together, but spacious enough for me to park my 35 foot travel trailer and stay hooked up to the tow vehicle. There were concrete runners for tires to sit on...easy to level. I noticed some complaints about there being no grass for pets. Well, it's the desert...there isn't much (if any) grass anywhere. Dogs will poop on the dirt. Ours do. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Very pleasant campground in a nice area. We did just an overnight stay but diesel and other services were close by. We would stay again. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Very easy to find from I-10. Wide interior roads. We had a pull-through that was long enough to keep the toad attached if we had wanted. There are two wide paved strips in the gravel sites to drive the RV wheels on - don't really know why because jacks go down on the gravel anyway. Sites are narrow and don't have picnic tables. There really isn't room for them. Some of the "View" sites do have tables. There is absolutely no grass for dogs even in the dog walk. I know this is the desert, but some grass for our 4 legged children would have been nice. We would stay here again but probably won't come this way again. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Motorhome.

This is the best RV Park we have stayed in. We had the number 9 spot, which came with a cover patio, which had patio tables and chairs and a Grill. We were their for only one night. Wish we had the time to stay longer. The view was excellent looking over the valley to all the mountains in the distance. We lucked out to have rain showers in the area and when they were over a very bright rainbow went down straight into the valley. Everyone was out excited about this view.

The site came with hookups on both sides of the pad, so you were able to pull in or back up, which ever you prefer. The lot was extra large so which ever way you wanted to park you had a lot of space. The price was well worth what we paid for. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Everything was near by, restaurants shopping etc. We had an interesting thing happen to us. We were going to the Restaurant and the song Rio by Duran Duran was playing and as he said "going across the Rio Grande" it happen we were going across the Rio Grande. It is a small Rio Grande area not deep but it was only about a mile from the RV park.

Very well landscaped campground. Neat gravel lots. Definitely pay extra to get a view site, it is worth it. Note, when it says it is a "Pull in/Back out" site, that is not and OR. It and an "AND". You Pull in to the site, then have to unhook your toad and back out to leave. Regardless, the view makes it worth it. Excellent cable tv channels. Good Verizon service. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a neat and clean park about a mile off I-20. Very little noise. Easy in and out. The view from the view sites is great! You are looking down on the city of Las Cruses with mountain in the background and see the lights of the city below at night. You can wash your camper and other vehicles for free. Staff is friendly and helpful. Will stay here again. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Big farmers market on Saturday downtown. La Mesilla Historic Spanish Village is nearby, interesting place. Lots of restaurants.

Nice quiet campground with an actual groomsman who goes around every day raking the gravel. This is in no way a fancy resort type campground, but a very good place to stay in Las Cruses. No railroad noise. It seems most RV parks love to locate near freeways and rail road tracks. This is next to neither. I did wonder about the gravel raking groomsman using a fire torch to keep the weeds in check instead of Round Up, but hey, maybe his method is better. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Motorhome.

Not cheap, but a very nice KOA, well taken care of and well designed. The surface throughout (except a few concrete sites) is crushed stone, which proved to be surprisingly clean and didn't track into the RV. Solid full hook-ups, and they allow vehicle and RV washing at a designated spot (no fee). Most of the sites are a little close to each other, but we had a back-in 'scenic' site and it was indeed very nice, with a great view of Las Cruces especially pleasant at night (the campground sits higher than the city). Definitely a keeper for us. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

About the nicest KOA we have seen. Staff friendly. Site immaculate. Great view of city. As others noted, site newly leveled. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Motorhome.
