We stayed for a week and paid 238.00$ WiFi was almost non existent. You can connect but when you try and search something it sits there and spins. Reported this 3 days in a roll, with no change the whole time we were there. We were put in site FF. Gravel parking lot with a little grass and a bush in between sites. No shade, no trees. 104 degrees. We had made reservations a couple of months ahead of time and ask for a pull thru. Were several available in the park with trees and shade. Didn't pay attention till we were set up and settled in (our fault). When I ask about our site she said she wasn't sure why the lady put us back there and we could move, this was half way through our stay. No thank you. Next time in the area we will try someplace else. Roads and sites are gravel and fairly level. Cable good. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for a 3 day lay over on our way to Albuquerque then on to Angel Fire - this was a great place to stay and relax - we had a nice pull thru with excellent hook-up - there was also a nice picnic table - we had no immediate neighbors as 25% of the spots were empty - the property is well groomed with maintenance staff working inconspicuously through out the park - the laundry room was very neat and clean - $1.25 per load for dryer and washer - on the website they said the roads thru the park were wide - I'd say very wide and bet that I could have made a u-turn with my truck and 22' travel trailer - the host(s) were very helpful with info on places to go and things to see - they have a free movie nite once a week - nice view of the Organ Mountains - no store on site but there is a Family Dollar and a Super Save only 200 to 300 yards from the park entrance from which you can get anything you could possibly need - there are some full time residence but their site are neat and clean and don't present an eye sore like we have seen in other RV parks - I needed to do a little maintenance on my RV and they let me use the tools and vice in their shop - in addition we saw someone in their coach leaving in the morning and they needed some air in one of their tires - the maintenance crew wheeled out their compressor and filled up his tire - I would recommend this park to anyone for a lay-over or an extended stay - they also have complimentary coffee and donuts on Saturday morning (while they last) - good job Sunny Acres. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

No loud music - no children - no motorbikes or other annoying vehicles noise - one reviewer said they heard noise from the street and the industrial area around the park - for us this was not an issue whatsoever

This is our second stay at Sunny Acres. The first time we were here for three nights; the site they gave us was small, but shaded. We reserved for a week after doing some touring in AZ. This time we were given a great shady site with grass and close proximity to everything. The office staff was wonderful, even assisted us in returning a lost watch. The park is well maintained and offers a lot of amenities. The park has a wide variety of spots and they try to accomodate everyone. It is quiet and friendly. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Chala's Wood Fire Grill in old Mesilla is delicious with a modern twist on traditional Mexican cooking. If you are looking for inexpensive, Pepe's has a great deal of fifty cent tacos on Tuesday! Less than five minute walk from RV park.

This is our second time at this campground. It was just an overnighter for us this time, but we wouldn't stay anywhere else if we're passing through the Las Cruces area. This time we had a very easy-in, easy-out pull through right next to the office. The level, gravel sites are nice and wide. We had a shade tree on this one. We had to pick up some groceries and didn't have to unhitch the car. The grocery store is less than a block away. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you want to go out for dinner, there's a good brew pub, High Desert Brewery, that's about half mile away. The food is very good, the people are friendly, and the drinks are excellent. My husband had the beer and I had a root beer which they make on the premises.

Easy to get in and out. Picnic table at each site. They have a fenced in dog park. This is not a luxury park, but still a very nice place to stay. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Although the signage to this park is not the greatest, if you are driving an RV longer than 40 feet, you will enjoy the extremely wide roads. We have stayed at over 100 RV parks and we have never seen such wide roads. The park is quiet as it sits back off of the main road. The utilities were conveniently situated. It was clean and a well maintained park. We had no problems hooking up to the Internet and the speed was acceptable. It is not a fancy park but we will definitely stay here again. If you want to camp on gravel, with no grass, no shade, no picnic table and be woken up at 5:31 A.M. with the dumpster being emptied - this is the place! We have stayed here once before and had a shaded spot with grass, a concrete pad, and a table. We booked ahead and had asked for a partially shaded spot. We received a confirmation, but didn't realize until we had paid and were assigned our site that we got essentially their overflow. We asked to change sites but were told there we no others - which ultimately turned out to be untrue. Other nicer sites went empty. We won't be back! We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

A nice park in a questionable neighborhood. The campground is in the city in an industrial/commercial area right off a busy thoroughfare. All of the roads and many of the sites are gravel.
WI-fi worked fine and cell phone coverage was good.
There was fairly constant noise from the road and from the dollar store. Other areas of the park are near industrial businesses.
I will try a different park if I pass thru again. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

This is a park in an older part of town, but clean and neat. I was here on Super Bowl Sunday and the staff hosted a party for the game. I found the staff and the guests friendly and enjoyed meeting them. They also have a storage area if you need to leave your RV for a few days or weeks. There is easy access to the freeway, and plenty of local shopping. My daily fee was based on a weekly rate. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

Our favorite private RV park in New Mexico. Only one site for one night was available when we made reservations, so we were assigned an easy in-out pull-thru at the end of a row. The site was not as shaded as the back-in sites we have had during other stays here, but was definitely more convenient for our short overnight. We will book earlier and stay longer next winter! We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This RV park is in a fairly flat part of town where bike rides to the rec center, library, and grocery store are short, but on busy streets. The university and Old Mesilla are a bit far for us to ride bikes, but are just a short drive away.

Being in NM's second largest city is not like being in Arizona's second largest city! Las Cruces is small and everything an RVer might need is easily accessible.

Only stayed overnight, but very impressed with this park. Wide roads, large sites, clean & well maintained grounds. The restroom/laundry/hangout building was spotless, large & bright. Lots of washers & dryers, bookshelves with tons of games, puzzles, and books for loan. Didn't use the restrooms, but they looked real nice as well. And there's a decent size dog run right outside as well as a covered porch that should be really nice in good weather. Unfortunately, my husband is a wuss and can't stand the cold weather here, lol, so we are heading to Tucson, but I expect we'll return when it warms up and make this place our base for visiting this area. We pulled in without a reservation and were greeted by friendly office staff. The entrance is not impressive but the sites are away from the streets and quiet. It is very clean and well run. Nice place for dogs to run and plenty of space between sites. Concrete patios at each site, nice wide and paved streets. Sites are gravel. Restaurants are close by. We were offered a choice of sites and stayed in pull through site #2. It was fine for an overnight. Easy in and out and we could have left the towed attached but chose to see a little of the area. Tips for other Campers:

It was pretty cold when we were there but the downtown farmers market and historic Messilla are definitely worth visiting. Farmers market is open year around but just certain days so check with the nice people in the office for more information.

This is a very nice & clean park with easy access in & out. Sites & roads are compacted gravel. Our site had a nice grass area & concrete patio with a picnic table. The park is very clean & the staff works hard to keep it clean & dust free. Twice per day, a pickup truck slowly pulls a trailer with a water tank spraying water on the roads to keep dust down. It seemed to be very effective. The wifi worked well in our site. The utilities were conveniently located on the site. Although we didn't use them, the laundry & bathrooms were very clean. There are apparently a few long term residents because a few sites have large propane tanks on them. These sites are all very clean & uncluttered. Although the park is located in town, we were never bothered by road or train noise. The staff was very friendly & helpful. We will stay again when in this area. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overnight stay only in our 36 foot fifth wheel in a nice pull through spot. Multiple different ways of accessing this park off of the 10 East freeway Park is mainly long-term residents but the area is well maintained and all trailers are clean and neat. Wi-Fi is free but very unreliable with minimal service. Verizon service and cable were excellent. Nice fenced grass dog park in middle of park. Would stay here again for overnight.
