A nice park in a questionable neighborhood. The campground is in the city in an industrial/commercial area right off a busy thoroughfare. All of the roads and many of the sites are gravel.
WI-fi worked fine and cell phone coverage was good.
There was fairly constant noise from the road and from the dollar store. Other areas of the park are near industrial businesses.
I will try a different park if I pass thru again. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

Only stayed overnight, but very impressed with this park. Wide roads, large sites, clean & well maintained grounds. The restroom/laundry/hangout building was spotless, large & bright. Lots of washers & dryers, bookshelves with tons of games, puzzles, and books for loan. Didn't use the restrooms, but they looked real nice as well. And there's a decent size dog run right outside as well as a covered porch that should be really nice in good weather. Unfortunately, my husband is a wuss and can't stand the cold weather here, lol, so we are heading to Tucson, but I expect we'll return when it warms up and make this place our base for visiting this area. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Truck Camper.

We pulled in without a reservation and were greeted by friendly office staff. The entrance is not impressive but the sites are away from the streets and quiet. It is very clean and well run. Nice place for dogs to run and plenty of space between sites. Concrete patios at each site, nice wide and paved streets. Sites are gravel. Restaurants are close by. We were offered a choice of sites and stayed in pull through site #2. It was fine for an overnight. Easy in and out and we could have left the towed attached but chose to see a little of the area. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

It was pretty cold when we were there but the downtown farmers market and historic Messilla are definitely worth visiting. Farmers market is open year around but just certain days so check with the nice people in the office for more information.

This is a very nice & clean park with easy access in & out. Sites & roads are compacted gravel. Our site had a nice grass area & concrete patio with a picnic table. The park is very clean & the staff works hard to keep it clean & dust free. Twice per day, a pickup truck slowly pulls a trailer with a water tank spraying water on the roads to keep dust down. It seemed to be very effective. The wifi worked well in our site. The utilities were conveniently located on the site. Although we didn't use them, the laundry & bathrooms were very clean. There are apparently a few long term residents because a few sites have large propane tanks on them. These sites are all very clean & uncluttered. Although the park is located in town, we were never bothered by road or train noise. The staff was very friendly & helpful. We will stay again when in this area. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overnight stay only in our 36 foot fifth wheel in a nice pull through spot. Multiple different ways of accessing this park off of the 10 East freeway Park is mainly long-term residents but the area is well maintained and all trailers are clean and neat. Wi-Fi is free but very unreliable with minimal service. Verizon service and cable were excellent. Nice fenced grass dog park in middle of park. Would stay here again for overnight. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed over night on our way through to Arizona. The pull through site we had was wide and easy to access. WiFi worked great. They even had a dog park which our dog really enjoyed. We would definitely stray here again when we visit the Las Cruces area. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

They took our reservation over the phone with no payment, nice as we called on a borrowed phone. All was fine upon check in, we were offered a selection of sites, again a nice touch. Some sites have grass.

Bathrooms were older but all inclusive, toilet, shower and sink. All clean and tidy.

Will fit any size rig. They do have some pull thru spaces. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Typical city park with city noises. They have security camera's so you feel safe. Entry is plain but park looks nice once inside.

This is a very nice RV park. Sites are spacious and level. They are gravel, but most have grass where the table is. There are no trees in the back row of sites, but most of the sites in the park do have shade trees. Utilities worked fine. We didn't use the WiFi so I can't tell you how that worked, but we had no trouble with our AT&T cell phone and hotspot. Extensive cable channels. The laundry is clean and the washers ($1.25) and dryers ($0.25 for 10 minutes) worked fine. The laundry is in a room off of the clubhouse, so you can read, do jigsaw puzzles, or work on your computer while waiting for the wash to get done. The dog park is a large, fenced in grassy area with shade and several places for their humans to sit. There was a bad thunderstorm with lightning and hail while we were there. There were places in the park that had a few inches of water, not enough to call a flood, but it didn't stop cars from getting in and out. That night and the next morning the workers had sump pumps going, and that did a good job of clearing up the standing water. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

What a great find. We actually stayed one month at this park, so the rate was $464, plus electric. The sites are very spacious with trees for shade, picnic table, room for your truck, a concrete patio and a grass lawn at your site. Super friendly staff, very welcoming. A large grassed in area for dogs to play in. Close to stores, great restaurants and other things you might need. Very quiet, in the city but far enough off the road that you do not hear traffic. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Super breakfast at "The Shed", just down the street on Valley. Plus, "Caliches" for frozen custard.

We have stayed in several RV parks in Las Cruces and this is the best we've seen so far. We had a delightful back-in parking space that included a carport for our dinghy. The park is older than some of the others but is very well kept. The sites are quite wide and level gravel parking is surrounded by well watered grass. Very nice!

The cable TV is acceptable and the wireless internet better than most we've seen. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Stopped here for the first time en route to Texas and beyond. Staff very friendly and full of solid info about the area. The park, while older, is very clean, neat and well maintained with well placed mature trees. Internal roads are very wide allowing easy access to any site; all of which are very wide and long. All hook-ups worked fine and the pad was spot on level. We definitely will book our stays here as we travel again (Leaving Tucson, heading East, as well as headed home, and Las Cruces is one of only a couple choices on the way! :) ) The only "down side" was minor for us: trains. There is a major crossing quite nearby and they whistle passing by . Brief, infrequent, minor irritation, not a big deal for us really, but some folks are more sensitive to that I see. We are in a 33' RV. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here Mar 27 - Apr 1 (Fri-Wed), 5 nights. $36/night w/ Good Sam. Site #56. The campground is quite clean and well maintained. Some trees throughout the park, but little shade. The roads and sites are neatly graveled, so it can be a bit dusty. Huge roads through the park and very large sites. You do not feel crowded at all. There are few long term RV's (Snow Birds) in the park that are generally in good condition, although some have accumulated some excess stuff in their sites but it's not unsightly. It is generally quiet, just some minimal road noise and 1 or 2 trains a day, but the train horns are not very disturbing. Our site was on the north fence line. Behind the fence is a towing service which makes associated noise throughout the night. They also have a guard dog that barks during the night. In the early morning the white wing doves make quite a racket; they roost and nest in the trees along the north line. So avoid the north line if you're seeking quiet. The first night we were in the park our BBQ propane tank was stolen. They didn't take the BBQ, or the milk crate the tank was in, or the folding chairs that were leaning against the picnic table. Similar items (BBQ, chairs, tanks, bicycles) are left out overnight throughout the park, but our tank was pinched. Actually this was our first theft in a park, but it still leaves us with a negative impression. The site has 30/50 electric, picnic table, grass area. The water is good quality and about 40 psi. Basic cable is included. Internet is free and good enough for web surfing but not streaming. The laundry has four sets of machines. $1.25/wash. The showers are 4 small bathrooms, just like at home. Toilet, sink and stall shower; very nice. No Pool. The staff is friendly and helpful. Friday is movie night. There were also other activities but we did not partake. The park is located in the city so everything is convenient. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Within walking distance (1/4 mile) there is a brew house. High Desert Brewing. They have some great beers and good pub food. All very cheap.

Nice, clean park. Our site was nice and level with a bit of grass and picnic table. The roads were wide. The dog park was big compared to others. The lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful by pointing us to a local brewery with a dog friendly patio. We stayed three nights and it completely met our needs. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

The area around this park isn't the best, and we were a little hesitant pulling in. But the park is very clean, extremely well-maintained, and the office staff friendly and efficient. We didn't see a lot of long-term residents like you see in other parks and the RVs here were newer and in good condition. They also have a good-sized fenced dog play area that our dog enjoyed. There's a large supermarket down the street. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Large RV park in town. We stayed in the pull-through lane, with no trees. The back in sites are attractive and nicely treed. Water, sewer, and power worked well. The WiFi did not - it was spotty and slow. Good Verizon coverage for our MiFi and phone. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dirt roads and sites with a thin cover of gravel. The recent rains created a lot of mud. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
